"Gguk, you're going to be great. You'll do fantastic! I'm counting on you! I believe in you! You will beat them, we will celebrate later on and invite everyone for a party if you win this, I promise. All my hope is in you." Jungkook smiled proudly at his slightly older brother, hugging him tightly.
Jeongguk was beyond the word itself nervous. He felt choked up but stayed close to Jungkook and listened to him. "Have you heard anything about Yoongi yet?" He decided to ask.
The mentioned boy promised to Jeongguk he would show up but no one has seen him yet. Jeongguk was concerned Yoongi wasn't going to be here to see him play.
"I haven't, but Hoseok, me, Jimin, and Taehyung are all here and we're all ready to be here and support you." Jungkook pulled away. "Go get warmed up, this game will make history!" Announced the younger Jeon Twin.
Jeon Jeongguk hummed before he waved his brother away, going down into the locker rooms. He saw his whole team chatting amongst themselves.
Jung Suwun was kicked from the team after hearing about what he did to Taehyung. He was suspended and charged as well but all those things were to be unknown.
"Okay," Jeongguk rose his voice over everyone. "This is is, boys, today is the day! I want you to all know what win or lose, we did our very best and I'm proud of you. Today will be one of the hardest games yet!" Jeongguk announced.
The raven-haired continued to prepare his teammates. Meanwhile, Jungkook found himself beside Taehyung and Hoseok and Jimin, sitting between Taehyung and Hoseok.
"I have a bad feeling he's going to lose." Jungkook randomly said, rubbing his face.
"You think he's going to lose? What a brother you are for doubting him so much." The oldest of the bunch commented.
"I would like to believe he's going to win but he's too nervous. Yoongi has yet to show his bum ass face here and won't return any of our calls or messages, Jeongguk wants to impress . . . Everyone. He wants to be known for being on this team and whatever." Jungkook shrugged.
"Keep having high hopes for him, I think he'll do it." Taehyung grinned. "He always ends up being impressive somehow in someway." He whispered to the youngest of the group, laying his head on his shoulder.
"Thanks, Tae." Jungkook laid his head atop of Taehyung's head, feeling a warm feeling setting inside of his gut. "I needed that." He breathed out so only Taehyung could hear his feeble voice.
"Of course, Kookie." Taehyung placed his slender hand on the younger's thigh, massaging the flesh a bit. "Don't you worry too much either." Muttered the slightly older.
Before anyone knew it, the loudspeakers went off, making everyone come to a mute to listen in. Jungkook picked his head up from Taehyung who wanted to straighten himself out.
"Afternoon, ladies and gentlemen! Today is finally the big day! We are thankful to see you all! Now, home team . . ." The loudspeaker continued on, trailing off with a list of names of star players.
The crowd roared when hearing Jeongguk's name and seeing the said player run out with his arms thrown into the air, covering his anxiety with a smirk plastered to his face.
Fans gushed over the player, cheering loud for him. They began to chant out 'Jeon Jeongguk', applauding with adrenaline.
Soon, the second team, the Lions, came out to join Jeongguk and his team on the field, not as much cheering but it was evident.
For anyone who wondered why Taehyung wasn't a cheerleader just yet, he would need practice on the routines and didn't have that yet. Taehyung also really didn't want to go through with any of that.
Cheering soon settled, people ready for this game to start already, waiting to see two of the highest teams go face to face with one another. Anxious teens and adults and some small children yelled out their compliments for the two teams.
The game started with the Lions. They held onto the ball, throwing it back to the quarter back who took two steps backward, looking out into the field.
Every open guy wasn't particularly open due to Jeongguk's team defense. Jeongguk wasn't on the field, he was offense and this was defense, just to keep in mind.
Play after play, the Lions only increased by six yards until they had to do a punt to Jeongguk's team, the first play being done and over with already.
The first touchdown was granted to Jeongguk's team who had better offense.
It continued throughout the game, the first quarter already over, now already in the second quarter with only four minutes left before half time.
Taehyung, Jimin, Jungkook, and Hoseok all screamed and cheered, clapping their hands with every great move made by their home team.
Jeongguk's team, the Panthers, had a current score of twenty-one while the Lions had their score of seventeen.
Now, at the very set moment, Jeongguk's team had the ball. Their next play was ready to start. The older Jeon Twin felt his heart thump against his chest with loud thuds, banging against his ribcage with force. His breathing was uneasy.
"Jeongguk! C'mon! You can do this!" Taehyung shouted as he watched the game from the bleachers intensely, his hands tightly clasped together as he watched.
Jungkook, Jimin, and Hoseok were all there with Taehyung, watching the other Jeon Twin with immense looks.
Jeongguk was on the field, biting his lip as he scanned the field. He watched over his teammates. He was the captain of his team, being in the top three for players.
"Set . . . Hike!" He yelled loud enough for everyone on the field to hear, rushing back so he had room to look for someone.
"Fuck!" He groaned to himself, not seeing any open wide receivers or tight ends, shaking his head before he held the ball tightly and dashed past a few people on the opposing team.
Jeongguk was quick and fast; doing a lot of races in his day.
He ran with speed until he was knocked off his feet, the opposing team's defense player hitting him with force and another hitting into the other side of him, crushing him right between them.
He heard loud cracking within side of him, pain coursing its ways up and down his neck, spine, arms, and legs. His heartbeat felt like it temporarily took a stop.
The teen let out a mere cry, the ball slipping from his palms, his legs losing the feeling it held. He tumbled downward.
Saying Jeongguk saw stars was an understatement. The ball was knocked from his hands, the other team grabbing the ball and running down the field as Jeongguk collapsed on the ground.
He rolled on his back, his eyes shut for a moment. He felt weak, pain rushing every nerve his body owned. Slowly, his legs became numb as did his arms and torso. He felt a warm sensation trickle from his nostrils.
It took a moment before the sound of fans roared, showing that the Lions had scored and the Panthers unfortunately did not.
Jeongguk didn't care. He couldn't move. His body was aching and his head was spinning, everything was blurry.
"Gguk!" He couldn't make out who the muffled voice belong to.
His helmet was forced off his head, his face being cupped yet he still couldn't see who it was or even move his arms or legs or head.
"Shit! His nose his bleeding! Get the fucking paramedics!" The same muffled voice yelled.
Taehyung gasped, he watched the whole scene unfold, seeing Jeongguk getting hit harshly and his body limp on the grass.
Jungkook was beyond worried and showed so. His chest ached for his brother, gulping. "I-I'll be right back," Jungkook told his friends before he ran off, trying to get down to the field.
Jimin was tensed, trying to see or hear if Jeongguk was okay.
"We have a minor injury on the field, please stand by," the guy on the loudspeaker announced publicly as if it weren't known already by the fans who were all silent.
Jeongguk was able to see a bit better, grunting.
"Can you walk?" His coach asked, looking over Jeongguk, not knowing how much trouble Jeongguk was going through at the moment.
The slightly older Jeon Twin nodded, he wasn't weak, he could get up, he could walk off the field all by himself. That's what he was forcing himself to believe at the moment.
Jeongguk was helped to stand, gaining slight feeling into his wobbly legs. He nodded to his coach and let go of him, taking a step until he dropped to his knees.
Taehyung realized how bad it was, seeing blood from Jeongguk's face and witnessing how he couldn't even walk.
Jeongguk tried again, pushing to his feet only to fall over, hitting his head off the ground. That's when everything went black and he fell out of consciousness.
Jungkook made it to the field, running over at full speed despite being told to stop and to slow down. He was worried, he saw his brother fall to the ground.
"Gguk!" He yelled, sliding on his knees to get to him, looking over his face.
"Hey! Gguk! Get up!" He pulled him slightly off of the grass, brushing his black locks back.
The coach went over, pulling Jungkook away. "The paramedics got him, he could have a broken bone, you can't touch him." He informed and tightly held the other twin back with force.
"That's my- Jeongguk! Get up!" He screamed, tears threatening to fall and Jungkook never cried, especially in front of hundreds of people who came to see Jeongguk and his undefeated team.
Four paramedics came running on the field with stretchers, setting it beside Jeongguk and then gently lifted his body onto it, putting his neck into a brace and strapping him down before they ran off with him, putting him in the back of a truck.
Jungkook finally escaped out of the coach's hold, running after the vehicle which he wasn't quick enough to catch up to. He was quick to follow it out, watching it gain speed and drive away.
Jungkook grunted, anger and pure worry fulfilling within side of him. He darted to the vehicle he used to get here, forcing his body into his car.
He began to drive, slamming on his brakes when Taehyung jumped in front of the car, yelling 'what the fuck' out. Jimin, Hoseok, and Taehyung all jumped into the car. "You're not going alone," Jimin said, buckling up.
Jungkook groaned before he continued to drive off, seeing the ambulance that held his brother within it, speeding behind him.
"J-Jungkook, I-I know this i-is your brother and all, but m-maybe slow down!" Hoseok yelled, clutching onto the seats.
He was ignored by the younger, who was he to even argue though? He understood that Jungkook was scared.
He would've been scared too if it were his sister who was in critical condition.
Taehyung placed a fragile hand on the younger's thigh, trying to help him calm down. He rubbed soft and relaxing circles into his leg.
Fuck.

Do you like when I leave little messages or would you rather I not do it too much? I'll never make a full chapter dedicated to these, not until the story is over.
Also, who is your favorite Jeon Twin right now? Jeongguk or Jungkook? Who do you think you would get along with more? Who do you think Taehyung likes more? Comment.
