He turned his head back around, now facing the portal once again.

"Huh? Xiao, I'd love to go see Teyvat."

His body then turned towards you.

Xiao

"You would?..."

You

"Yeah, I absolutely hate this place. Plus, I'd probably get arrested for killing all those people. But people here don't know how to get to Teyvat, in fact, I'm really the only person to ever know that other dimensions exist in this world. This place is just... Honestly not my place."

Xiao

"So... You're saying... You're really going to come to Teyvat."

You

"Yes, I am. Honestly, you're probably the one I care for the most. I've never felt that way about anyone else, from both Teyvat and my own dimension."

This made Xiao feel so worthy, he had actually heard someone say that he was cared for.

You

"So come on, I can't wait to see what your world's like."

You approached him, standing close alongside him by the brightly lit entrance. You had simply, casually taken his hand and gripped it strongly, which took Xiao off guard. His eyes widened as he looked down at the clasped hands.

Both you and Xiao were teleported to the location where Xiao first disappeared, Wangshu Inn.

The moment you opened your eyes, you were surrounded by such great scenery, it was nothing like your dimension.

The skies were blue, the grass was green, and from where you happened to be, you could see all the trees from above. The view was immaculate.

"This is... Teyvat?..."

"It's part of Teyvat. We're in a region of the world right now, named Liyue."

You

"Liyue huh..."

"Oh, Xiao, you're back! I had heard that all vision holders went missing... Thankfully the enemies weren't as active."

You said, with quite an awkward smile on your face. You were a bit scared to communicate with people from Teyvat, you were afraid that you might've said something disrespectful.

Because you desired to see more of Liyue, Xiao brought you to Liyue Harbor. It had been rather odd because Xiao had never been seen in that location before, but now he had been sighted with you.

There, you sampled a wide range of their cuisine and visited as many local stores as you could discover. Everyone was so nice there; you'd never experienced such generosity from people before. Nobody ever treated you with kindness when you were living in the Underground.

You had the opportunity to watch Xiao in battle now that he had regained his power and his vision was no longer dead. You regret thinking Xiao wasn't "all that" after watching how flashy he was, slaying all of his opponents with barely a few hits.

With the passage of time, you were also given the opportunity to visit the other regions, Inazuma and Mondstadt. You spent most of your days at Wangshu Inn, assisting with cleaning and removing any threats in the surroundings. You quickly became well-known in Teyvat.

You

"Heh... I don't wanna get too worked up over it."

"So, what are your thoughts on Teyvat?... Do you like it here?"

You

"Oh hell yeah, this place is so much better than the Underground. It's so... Peaceful, in a way."

Xiao

"Hm... I'd definitely agree. The atmosphere in your area is much too... Intimidating."

You

"I strongly agree."

You two conversed, just leaning on the rails on top of Wangshu Inn. You two were waiting for the fireworks show to celebrate the anniversary of the Inn. 

Nobody had ever seen Xiao be this social with someone.

You

"Hm?..."

"I'm really glad you came to Teyvat."

Xiao turned his head to the right, looking at you. You looked in his direction as well right after you noticed he was staring at you.

From the far corner of your eye, you could see the large explosions in the sky, all of the different colours while still locking eyes with Xiao.

You then began to notice, it was dead silent between the both of you, all that you could hear was the booms and the whistle that the fireworks made.

You also noticed that both you and Xiao had been slowly, progressively leaning in closer to each other.

It came to the point where the distance between both of your faces was literally less than 3 centimetres. 

Before you realized it, at the precise moment, you both delicately placed your hands on each other's necks and the sides of your faces. He'd leaned in even closer, the space between your faces had shrunk even further, and...
