"Y/N, I've already told you-"

You

"Yeah, yeah, I know. You've already tried medicine. But that's the medicine in Teyvat. You still haven't tried the medicine here!"

Xiao

"You... Have a point."

You

"Hold on, stay here. I bet I can find some at the pharmacy nearby."

Xiao

"What? But you've already gone out-"

Before Xiao could finish, you had already left.

Xiao

"Hm."

Xiao waited for you, happily comfortable in the random sweater you chose for him.

You soon came back, covered in blood.

You

"Ah, there was a bunch of trouble out there. Sorry if I took too long, but here."

You put a single bottle of sleeping medication on the table he sat at.

Xiao

"That's what the sleep medicine looks like here?..."

You

"Yeah, what about it?"

Xiao

"It's kind of different."

You

"Eh, I'd have expected that."

Xiao picked up the bottle and looked at it from all different angles, basically inspecting it. 

You

"Hey, you should take it now."

Xiao

"Now?... Wouldn't you consider it a bit too early?"

You

"Xiao, it's 1 am."

Xiao

"Oh... So I just..."

You

"You've gotta consume it with water. Or else you'll choke and die on it."

Xiao

"...!"

Xiao's focus slowly turned from the bottle to you.

You

"Hey, don't look at me like that. I was just kidding!"

Xiao

"... Don't scare me like that."

You

"Hehe, okay, I'll cut it out."

You prepared a glass of water for Xiao and left to go annoy Scaramouche who had still been using the bathroom.

You

"Scara, it's been an hour. Get the fuck out! Hu Tao and I still need to go!"

Scaramouche

"I'll get out when I wanna!"

You

"Tch, I might as well just drag you out of there myself!"

Scaramouche

"Y/N, wouldn't that be considered kinky?"

You

"Scara, don't say things like that."

Scaramouche

"... Fine. I'm getting out now."

You

"Don't even think about flashing me your dick."

Scaramouche

"Dang!... How'd you know?"

He joked.

You scoffed.

Finally, you and Hu Tao got a chance to take your showers, being a lot quicker than the others. 

Hu Tao

"Jeez, who knew that you guys would take such a long time to shower?!"

Childe

"It's not our fault!"

Childe said while inspecting random books on the shelves.

While drying up your hair, I'm sorry if you're bald, everyone had still been awake at 2 am. You were starting to reconsider going out tomorrow since they were up so late.

You

"I'm gonna go to bed. It's best if you guys stop checking this place out for a bit and just get some rest, y'know? We're supposed to be heading out tomorrow too."

Scaramouche

"Shouldn't we keep watch? I'm not tired anyway."

You

"Eh, it really doesn't matter. The Infected don't know how to open the doors anyway. Plus, it's locked."

While you made your way to the room that you planned to sleep in, you had seen Xiao literally curled up into a ball on the bed. 

You

You're fucking kidding me.

You dropped your towel on the chair nearby and got ready to drag Xiao out.

You

"Xiao, get out."

You removed the covers and saw Xiao with his eyes shut, relaxed. In other words, he had actually been resting.

From where you were standing, you had seen the sleeping medication bottle open with a half-finished glass of water beside it. 

You

... Huh. So they actually worked.

You quietly exited the room, hanging your towel elsewhere, and intended to stay in another room. Childe wasn't inspecting books by the time you left the room, and Scaramouche wasn't just lounging around in the living room. You noticed Hu Tao sleeping soundly on the couch.

If Scaramouche wasn't lounging around, and Childe wasn't looking at books, then that only meant one thing.

You dashed to the last available room, slamming the door open. It's a good thing the walls were fairly soundproof because the Infected didn't notice. What you saw was Scaramouche and Childe literally fighting in their sleep, kicking and punching each other and completely ruining the room.

You

Kinda looks like they're fucking.

You sighed in frustration as you contemplated where to sleep. You didn't want to sleep on the floor again; you felt like you deserved a proper bed this time. Other couches were available, but they were much too small for you, you didn't want to sleep on an unwelcome couch.

So, your last option available was to... Yeah.

You

*Sigh* It won't be too bad... He won't mind...?

You slowly opened the door to the room where Xiao was resting, he remained in the same position. You silently shut the door, being careful not to wake anyone, and walked over to the bed.

You stared at Xiao for a while before realizing... This mf had been taking up the majority of the space. So you decided to just—push him over a little bit so you could get a good spot. You slid under the covers with difficulty after successfully pushing him to the very edge. You didn't want to take them off because it would make Xiao cold.

And finally, you could relax. You had a long exhale of relief, resting your eyes comfortably in bed.

The only thing that was trying to keep you awake was the fact that you were sleeping right beside Xiao. But, you were much too tired to waste time thinking about it and just slept.

The bright sunlight streaming through the window rattled you awake. You rubbed your eyes a few times before opening them to see... Xiao staring directly into your eyes. Your two faces were far too close.

You

Does he... Sleep with his eyes opened?

It then occurred to you that you had seen Xiao's eyes shut when he finally got time to rest.

He wasn't just looking into your eyes; he was staring into them. By staring, I mean that his eyes were widened and he didn't blink once. It was undeniable eye contact.

You

"Uh..."

You couldn't help but stare right back into his eyes. If you looked away, you felt as if something would just... go wrong somehow.

Xiao

"I like you when you sleep."

He said, so openly and suddenly.

You

"... What?..."

You backed up a little, lifting an eyebrow in complete confusion.

Xiao

"I said, I like you when you sleep."

You

"What do you mean by that?!"

Hearing him clearly now, you both sat up from your lying position and you turned away from him. Many thoughts flooded your mind, and you were essentially overthinking the fact that he says, and I quote, "I like you when you sleep."

You

He likes me, but only when I sleep?... What is that supposed to imply?! Does he not like me when I'm awake, or am I just misunderstanding Xiao's way of affection?!... Is this even his way of showing affection?...

Xiao

"Your face is very lovely when you sleep."

His eyes were still widened, but this time they were a little more relaxed. He had a slight smile on his face and was blinking a lot, his eyes darting around the room. He was looking everywhere except at you this time.
