Karan placed Gappu securely in his room and went towards the discussion room to discuss about the revenge mission with full enthusiasm and rage.

As he entered, he was greeted by a formal salute from Ustadji, Faizi, Sanju & all the cadets. As a reply, he just nodded and without wasting a second, he started projecting the map of the hideout of PRF.

Karan - To jaisa ki aap sab log jante hain, Ca..Cadet Dr. Monami Mahajan ko humne inn atankhvadiyon ki wajeh se kho diya. The authorities, Batra sir & I myself want to plan a revenge mission. Kya aap sab taiyaar hain?!

Sanju - Saare jhingur aage aa to gaye mission mein bhaag lene ke laane, lekin ja koi mamuli mission na hogo.

Faizi (coming forward) - Bilkul, aap log pehle mission mein kya hone wala hai vo jaan le, fir hi koi faisala le.

Karan (sternly) - Faisla ye kya lenge, Faizi?! Aaj nahi to kal, kabhi na kabhi commandos to banenge hi...tab terrorists inke ready hone ka wait nahi karenge. (Loudly) I want you all in this mission! Clear?

Evryone (in unison) - Yes sir!

Karan nodded at Sid, and he linked his laptop with the projector present in the discussion room. In a second or two, the map of PRF organization's hideout appeared on the screen making the cadets, except Koel & Sid scrunch their eyebrows. 

Bala - Sirji, ye kya hai?

Karan (rudely) - Bala, jab kuchh present kiya hai to explain bhi karunga hi. Just wait!

Bala nodded being scared and everyone were quite taken aback by sudden change in Karan's behavior. Actually, since the day Monami has come into Karan's life, he has started to live. Before that, he was just alive with a heart beating without any reason. But after Monami's grand entry in Karan's life, Faizi was quite assured that now his Janabji will learn to live happily again. But now, Faizi's face was clearly indicating that he's tensed about something he never wanted to happen. But he could see the gradual changes in Karan's behavior since Monami's martyrdom & mentally prayed to God to just handle everything and bless his Janabji atleast with some happiness.

Karan blinked his eyes to Sanju, and she understood what she's supposed to do. She went and took out a foldable white board from the backside of the door. She came and placed it at a distance from where everyone could see properly. Karan took the marker and started copying the map of PRF's hideout on the board. 

Karan (pointing towards the projector screen) - Ye PRF ke hideout ka map outline hai!

Bala, Chitra, Sumanji & Premji got their foreheads straightened in shock. Karan understood what questions might be going inside their minds. He was also pretty sure of the feelings they might be feeling as he also went through the same. He sighed deeply receiving no reaction from the cadets and thumped the desk hardly, making the cadets fall back on earth. 

Premji - Si..Sirji, ye?!

Karan - Main janta hoon ki aap sabke mann mein kayi sawaal honge, let me explain you everything! Jaisa ki maine pehle hi kaha tha, hum Monami ki maut ka badla zaroor lenge. To ye jo aap sab dekh rahe hain, ye PRF ke hideout ka map hai. Hum unhi ka daav, unhi par khelenge!

Chitra - Hum kuchh #samjhe nahi, #sir!

Sanju (coming forward) - Re rukja, hashtag! Hum samjhato hain tanne. Sirji ne tum sabko je baat isliye batayi taki tum kisi baharwale ke saath chugli na karo. To je plan hum sabke beech mein rahe vo hi sahi rahego...tumae laane! 

Sumanji - Karan sijri, Sanju madam, aap befikr rahiye. Sumanji aur baki sab aapka plan apne tak hi rakhenge!

Karan (sarcastically) - Thank you, Sumanji!

Sanju - Ab saare plan suno. Karan sirji ne plan ye banao hai ki abhi tak media ya academy ke bahar kisi ko Monami ki..shaheedi ke baare mein na pata hai, to sirji Balli bankar Charu ke paas jayenge aur vakt pe hume unki prakriya (activity) ki jankari dete rahenge. Aur ek accha mauka dekhkar, PRF ko jad se khatam kardenge!

Faizi (loudly) - Understood?

All nodded meekily as they still had some unsolved doubts in their minds which was clearly reflected on their faces. 

Karan - Kuchh poochhna hai to puchh sakte hain.

Bala - Sirji, mera ye sawaal hai ki agar aap Balli bankar Charu ke paas jaoge to yaha academy mein kaun rahega?

Karan smiled slightly upon hearing some sensible words by Bala who acts childishly, for most of the times. 

Karan - Balli! Balli rahega meri jagah academy mein!

Karan pointed at the entrance and as everyone turned, they scrunched their nose as they again witnessed Balli, whom they never wanted to see again as he was considered responsible for Monami's demise. Balli was standing leaning against the door with a toothsy smile on his face. But the thing that caught everyone's attention was some sort of guilt & sadness in his eyes. On Karan's call, he came near the cadets and waved at them receiving a glare of ignorance from the four. 

Sumanji - Sirji, Balli?! Sirji ye yaha kaise reh sakta hai? Iski vajeh se to...

Karan (rudely) - Jab ek gali mein gulel ki champion yaha commando training le sakti hai, to Balli ko second chance kyu nahi?!

Ab lauta main hoon

Sumanji lowered her head being embarrassed and understood his point. Karan just stared at the cadets being extremely annoyed and by each passing second, Faizi could see his most terrible nightmare which he never wanted to be the reality, was becoming the actual truth. Faizi was about to say something to Karan but decided to step in later. 

Karan - I hope kisi ko koi objection nahi hai mere plan se. (After a few second, in stern tone) Aur hai bhi to, I don't care!

Faizi came forward as he knew that if the cadets continued to annoy Karan, then no one would be able to save them from his wrath. He felt a pinch in his heart as he remembered Monami, who was the only one who could tame this angry bird. But now he has to do something to prevent Karan from inviting hatred for himself.

Faizi (sternly) - Karan, hume tumse baat karni hai. Humare saath chalo, abhi!

Karan - Faizi, tu dekh raha hai na ki yaha kitni important discussion chal rahi hai. Baad mein baat karna!

Faizi (gritting his teeth) - Karannn! Kabhi to maan liya karo humari. Chal loge to kya pair sooj jaenge tumhare?!

Faizi was about to drag Karan outside even after constant denying from Karan. But as they opened the door of the discussion room, they found Dr. Mahajan standing there with a straight face. Karan straightened his posture as he saw Dr. Mahajan & lowered his gaze. Not observing any sound or act, everyone turned back and got surprised seeing Dr. Mahajan there. They got quite scared as they somewhat got an idea of Dr. Mahajan's anger towards Karan. Everyone mentally prayed for getting everything sorted & not to create any scene as Karan is already disturbed. 

Sid - Uncle bro, aap yaha?

Dr. Mahajan (glaring at Karan) - Haan Sid, tumhare 'best trainer' se kuchh baat karni thi.

Karan lifted up his head with a jolt as he was shocked that why Dr. Mahajan wants to talk to him, after whatever happened earlier. Though he felt slightly bad that Dr. Mahajan taunted him by quoting 'best trainer', but he decided to not to take that seriously, atleast for the moment. 

Karan (in a surprised tone) - Mu..mujhse kaam?

Dr. Mahajan (in a serious tone) - Hmm...main ye batane aaya hoon ki main bhi tum logo ke saath mission mein hissa lunga!

Everyone looked at him wide-eyed as if they've seen some sort of alien right in front of them. Karan squinched his forehead in confusion and decided to make Dr. Mahajan understand what it takes to be a commando & what it takes to 'behave' like a commando. One cannot just say & perform like the soldiers.

Karan (while controlling his anger) - Dr. Mahajan, aap please bina soche-samjhe kuchh aelaan (announce) mat kijiye. Mission par jana koi gudde-gudiya ka khel nahi hai, jo koi bhi khel le. It needs proper training!

Dr. Mahajan - Special Agent, aap mujhe na hi sikhaye to behtar hoga! Main jaanta hoon what it needs to be a commando and to go on the field! Main kaha keh raha hoon ki mujhe bhi apne saath lekar jao, I'm just 'requesting' you to make me a part of all this! 

Karan - Main kuchh samjha nahi! Aur aap achanak se ye sab kyu keh rahe hain?

Dr. Mahajan - Samajh nahi aa raha to kaan kholkar suno. Main chahta hoon ki main bhi tum sabke iss mission ka ek part banu, even I want to take revenge from those bastards! Sirf tum sabne hi apni best cadet ya dost nahi gavai, (with a wet voice) maine bhi a..apni beti ko kho..ya hai! I know main field par nahi ja sakta but mission mein ek Dr. ki zaroorat to hoti hi hai na, so I'll participate as a doctor! Agreed, Special Agent?

Karan was about to say something, maybe to deny what Dr. Mahajan wanted but Faizi came in between. 

Faizi - Ji Dr. Sahab, aap iss mission ka hissa bilkul ho sakte hain! Kyu Karan?

Faizi looked at Karan & found him nodding to Dr. Mahajan understanding his view & his emotions. This made Faizi feel quite better as he was now not getting much tensed about Karan's changed behavior. Even Dr. Mahajan wanted to be thankful to Karan for permitting him to be a part of the mission, but his ego interfered. Huff!

Dr. Mahajan just passed a nod to Karan with full attitude and being helpless, he too nodded back. Now everyone gathered around the big table upon which a light bulb was hanging, which was the only source of light in that whole room. 

Karan - I hope I've made myself clear?? 

Everyone nodded vigorously being determined to take revenge from that PRF organization. 

Karan - Sanju, mission ko naam de!

On Karan's command, Sanju thought for a moment for an appropriate name for this very important and close to heart mission. 

Sanju (hesitantly) - Mission Dhadkan!

As soon as Karan heard the name of the mission from Sanju's mouth, he immediately looked up to her because the name was actually very appropriate for the mission & for the situation as well. Everyone in the academy is well aware of Monami's value in Karan's life. She's actually his Dhadkan. 

Karan - O..Ok, so Mission Dhad..kan ke members Special Agent Karan Shergill, Special Agent Faizuddin Siddique, Special Agent Sanjana Dubey, Cadet Siddharth Ganju, Cadet Koel Roy, Cadet Sumanji, Cadet Premji, Cadet Bala, Cadet Chitra, Balli and Dr. Deepak Mahajan honge. Am I right?

Everyone (in unison) - Yes sir!

Karan (intensely) - Don't forget ki iss mission mein hume apna jee-jaan laga dena hai. Ye mission kis purpose ke liye hai, ye baat aap sab bahot achhe se jante hain. I want everyone to give their best & to return only after successfully completing this mission! Are you ready?

Everyone (in unison) - Yes sir!

Karan (loudly) - Are you ready?

Everyone (loudly) - Yes sir!

Karan (shouting at top of his lungs) - ARE YOU READY?!

Everyone (yelling) - YES SIR!!!

Karan nodded at everyone's determination and rage. He asked everyone to depart for their dorms. Everyone went but there were some people who were not able to handle the pain anymore. They were not able to believe that they're going for a mission to take revenge for their lifeline, for their Monami! They didn't want to shed any tears now as they had made up their minds to not to remember Monami with tears of sorrow, instead with smile of pride!

Karan (in mind) - Rani Sahiba, ja raha hai aapka Khadoos Shergill aapki shahadat ka badla lene. Ab vapise aaunga to sirf tumhari maut ka badla lekar aur uss PRF ka naam-o-nishan mitaakr hi. Varna maut ko gale se lagakar, tumahre paas aa jaunga! Monami, aaj jab Sanju ne mission ko 'Dhadkan' naam diya na to sach mein aankho ke saamne sirf tumhari hi tasveer aayi! (Deep sigh) Dhadkan hi to ho tum meri! Jo dil ko dhadkaye, vo hi to hoti hai...Dhadkan!

Sid (in mind) - Monu bro, jab academy aaya tha to kabhi nahi socha tha ki kabhi kisi mission par jaunga. But fir tere, Karan sir ke aur Sanju ke support se ek commando banne ka sapna dekha. First time life mein koi goal set kiya! Lekin kabhi nahi socha tha ki mera first official mission, tera revenge mission hoga. Monu..Sanju named the mission as 'Dhadkan'! Sach mein tu Dhadkan hi to hai hum sabki especially Karan sir ki! Jo jaan mein jaan dal de, vo hi to hoti hai...Dhadkan!

Dr. Mahajan (in mind) - Monami bache, kyu chali gayi apni mumma ki tarah mujhe apne haal par chhodkar? Kiske sahare jiyu main? Kisko apna kahu main? Beta, jiss din teri mumma shaheed hui thi, uss din main toot gaya tha. Lekin jab tu shaheed hui, tab to main mar hi gaya! Aaj tere Khadoos Shergill se keh diya maine ki main bhi apni bachi ki maut ka badla lena chahta hoon. Uss PRF organisation ko jad se khatam kardunga, bache. I'll take your revenge, so that you can be proud of your father! I know, tere jeete-ji humesha tujhe control karna chaha, army se nafrat ki..magar tere bhale ke liye hi. Lekin ab...ab to tu hi mujhe uss cheez ke kareeb le aayi jisse saalon se nafrat kari! Monami beta, you are my everything! Vaise sahi hi hai...Jo marne ke baad jeena sikha de, vo hi to hoti hai...Dhadkan!

Karan, Sid & Dr, Mahajan (individually in their minds) - Dil ki Dhadkan...ab to laut aa!
