After a drive of 30 minutes which seemed more like 30 years to Faizi as he had to tolerate the most heart wrenching sight. His best friend who used to be the most excited and rageous for going on any mission and embracing success again, was sitting all quiet and expressionless today just like a corpse, Karan & Faizi were about to reach the hideout where Karan was initially kept.

Karan (suddenly) - Faizi, jeep rok!

Faizi immediately applied the brake on Karan's command but was confused and surprised why Karan asked him to stop the jeep when they haven't reached their desired destination yet.

Faizi - Karan, abhi kyu jeep rukvayi? Abhi to hum PRF ke hideout par pahunche bhi nahi hain!

Karan - Faizi, agar hum jeep hideout ke paas le jayenge to Charu ko shaq ho sakta hai ki Special Agent Faizuddin Siddique khud kyu aaya hai Balli ko chhodne. Main yahi utar raha hoon, aur tu vapis academy chala ja!

Faizi (concernedly) - Magar Karan...

Karan (sternly) - It's an order, Special Agent Faizuddin Siddique!

Faizi wasn't surprised by Karan's words as it's his favorite hobby of making his juniors & cadets obey his most baseless and impossible-kinda orders. The Karan who turned slightly into a loving and life-enjoying human being is now a complete robo without any feelings, all thanks to Monami!

Faizi just sighed helplessly and held his Janabji by his shoulders making Karan confused. Faizi made Karan sit in the jeep and he himself stood on the ground in front of Karan.

Karan (shrugging off Faizi's hands) - Faizi tu ye kya kar raha hai?!

Faizi - Karan, PRF ke hideout par jaane se pehle tum thoda shaant ho jao.

Karan - Main shaant hi hoon, Faizi!

Faizi (sarcastically) - Achha?! Fir ye maathe par lines hona shaant hona hi hota hai na? Ye shoulders ki stiffness bhi shaant hona hi hai, haina? Aur naak par har waqt gussa baithaye rakhna..shaant hona hi to hai! Sahi keh rahe hain na hum?!

Karan closed his eyes being irritated and frustrated due to the constant nudging of Faizi. He was having a hard time controlling his emotions but now Faizi's sarcastic side was pissing him off.

Karan - Faizi, main shaant hi hoon! Jaane de mujhe!

Saying so, Karan tried to jump off the jeep but was held back tightly by Faizi.

Faizi - Karan, hum jaante hain ki tumhare dil par abhi kya guzar rahi hogi. Haan, samajh nahi sakte magar tumhara dard tumhari aankho se parakh zaroor sakte hain. Humari baat maano Janabji, agar itne dard ke saath mission par jaoge to na mission par dhyaan de paoge or na hi apne badle par!

Karan (bursting out)- Main kya karu Faizi, tu hi bata? Ek ladka jo desh ke liye kuchh karna chahata tha, apne bhai se inspire hua, commando bana aur fir ek din...apne bhai ki shahadat ka kaaran bhi ban gaya! Bade saalon baad uski zindagi mein khushiyan aayi thi, use kisi se beintehaa mohabbat ho gayi, aur fir kya hua?! Chhin gaya uska pyaar usse! Aur tu uss ladke se expect karta hai ki vo apne pyaar ki maut ka badla lene shanti se chala jaye?!

Exposing the feelings which were deep buried in his heart, Karan was tired of being strong & hiding his emotions inside himself. He bursts out into bitter tears and lean on to Faizi's shoulder. Faizi was having a hard time seeing the strongest man he knew being so weak and expressive. Being helpless, Faizi started rubbing Karan's back in order to calm down his increasing sobs. Shedding tears for a few minutes, Karan sits back straight with a straight and serious face. His face didn't reflect how broken he is, and no one could tell that he's the same man who was crying for his love a few minutes ago. To Faizi, it seemed as if it's a stone in front of him who doesn't has any expressions on his face.

In Karan's face, there were no expressions at all. Though it seemed relieving but only Faizi knows how dangerous Karan's silence is. Karan's red eyes filled with anger, rage and desire for revenge were enough to convey that the terrorists' death is near!

Faizi wiped his own tears, that brimmed in his eyes witnessing his Janabji's condition. He firstly composed himself and then looked towards Karan.

Faizi - Jaiye janabji, kariye jo aapko theek lage! (With tears in his eyes) Lekin ek baat hai, humari Monami-Tsunami ka badla liye bina mat aana!

Not just in Karan's life, Monami was having a very important place in everyone's life and hearts. Faizi found a sister in Monami with whom he can open up as much as he wants. Monami was the first person with whom Faizi had a heartening conversation while hugging a tree on the very first day of the commando training.

Faizi lovingly and concernedly tapped Karan's cheeks and the best friends duo hugged each other so tight as if they are hugging each other for the last time! Looking at each other for once last time, Karan walked towards the hideout while Faizi kept looking at his retreating figure with pity-full eyes.

Faizi - Ya Allah! Inn aankho ko Karan aur Monami ko saath dekhne ki aadat si ho gayi hai, ab humare Janabji ko unki Rani Sahiba ke bagair dekhna apne aap mein hi ek torture lagta hai..inn par meher kar allah!

Walking for half an hour, Karan reached to a place seemingly nostalgic to him, but in a negative manner. The black ashes on the building reminded him of what he lost at this very same place. Iss zindagi se to achha to uss din ek baar mein hi mar jata, sirf meri dhadkanein hi to rukti aur main khush ho jata yahi sochkar ki kum se kum meri dhadkan ki dhadkanein to chal rahi hain! After many days of Monami's demise, Karan was still not able to forget the scenario that snatched his life from him. Him lying in his love's lap, taking his last breaths and feeling immense pride of getting martyred for the nation. According to Karan, everything was going fine until Monami used all her force and pushed him out of the hideout. And the very next second, the bomb blasted. The fire broke out and engulfed everything in itself. At that moment, Karan saw his whole world pulling apart in front of him.

The fire that symbolizes strength, fury and power was the symbol of wounds, pain and vulnerability today. Karan closed his eyes tightly not wanting to remember that black day and feel vulnerable thinking about what all he lost in that fire that day.

Thinking and cursing his fate, Karan took a step ahead only to find a burnt photograph sort of thing under his feet. In curiosity, he picked it up and what he saw made his eyes softened and bitter tears escape from his eyes. It was a partially burnt collage made by roughly joining a picture of Monami along with her mother and a picture of MoRan. May be the search team missed this photograph while searching the burnt place, after the bomb blast.

He knows what place her mother & he holds in Monami's heart. Not just as a mother or a partner but also as a mentor & support system, Juhi & Karan are indeed the most important people of Monami's life. She always wanted to be like her mother, selfless, brave and kind. Her mother also sacrificed her life for the country and the same has the daughter.

Karan (rubbing his thumb on the collage) - R..Rani Sahiba, ma..in aur Juhi maa itne hi pyaare thhe aapko to aise chhodkar nahi jana tha na. Maanta hoon Juhi maa ki jagah aapka ye Khadoos Shergill nahi le sakta, but that doesn't mean ki aap mujhe chhodkar Juhi maa ke paas chali jaogi! That's not fair Rani Sahiba!

The tears which were streaming down from Karan's cheeks were the proof of his bleeding heart. His heart yearned for its heartbeat, but he too knew that she'll never come, she has left him to mourn forever!

Karan kept the photograph in his pocket securely and went ahead. Though every inch of the building was reminding him of his Rani Sahiba's demise but also of his revenge. As much broken he is upon witnessing the terrorists' hideout standing still, as furious and stronger he felt from within. The fire in his eyes engraved and now some extra strength was added to his already present one.

He went ahead and as he entered; he saw ultimate tight security at the gate. Two tall muscular guys decked in black, came and checked Karan from top to bottom. They ensured that Karan, who's Balli for them doesn't have any hidden weapon with him. But as they found everything unsuspicious, they let him in. Little did they know that Commando Karan Shergill's intelligence is far away from theirs. Karan pulled out the gun he's been hiding inside his shoe and ensured that it was fully loaded with the bullets and after ensuring it, he again kept it back in his shoe.

Karan even adjusted the mini camera which Sid attached to his shirt's button and turned it on. The camera was very well performing its duty and whatever was happening at the hideout was visible in the academy. Karan clicked on the secret Bluetooth he was wearing and now his communication with PSAFians smoothened out.

Karan - Siddharth, everything visible?

The screen in the academy got perfectly connected to Karan's camera and Bluetooth. In the academy's surveillance room, Col. Batra, Dr. Mahajan, Sanju, Siddharth and Balli were able to see whatever Karan was able to see at the hideout.

Siddharth - Yes, everything's connected. I repeat, everything connected!

Karan - Hm..Balli, ab bata mujhe Charu or baki log mujhe kaha mein milenge?

Balli - Oye praa, ae Charu te uske tattu tuannu aage se baye (left) kamre mein mil sakde hain.

Karan - Ok, copy that!

According to Balli's directions, Karan started moving forward and turned left very secretively. He was about to turn the knob of the door when he saw the door opening. Karan immediately his behind one of the pillars and saw Charu and Tillu coming out of the room.

Charu (angrily) - Ae Tilli, ye Balli kaha hai?

Tilli - Pata nahi Charu tai, jabse vo bomb blast hua hai tabse dikha hi nahi.

Charu (in disgust)- Bhaag gaya hoga saala!

Tilli - Vaise tai, aaj aap ye Balli paaji ko kyu yaad kar rahe ho? Kuchh khaas kaam unse?

Charu - Vo Balli kisi khaas kaam mein shamil karne layak hi nahi hai. Ab jab humara uss Karan Shergill ko maarne ka plan to kharab ho gaya, to hume Balli ki zaroorat to hogi hi na firse. Uss din to uss commando ki girlfriend vo Mo..Mo...Kya naam hai uska?!

Tilli - Monami! Monami naam hai uska!

Charu - Hm.. vo Monami beech mein aa gayi aur vo Karan Shergill fir bach gaya. Pata nahi kis pen se kismat likhvakar laya hai!

Tilli - Lekin iss baar hume solid plan banana padega tai. Iss baar kisi ko beech mein nahi aane de sakte.

Charu (smirking) - Iss baar koi beech mein aayega bhi nahi. Uss Monami ka jo hashar hua hai na, usse sabne sabak seekh liya hoga!

Tilli & Charu had a good laugh feeling proud about how they snatched a precious soul from her well wishers. Just knowing the fact that Charu was behind Monami's death, made Karan's blood boil. He closed his eyes tight and clenched his fists to not to react immediately. The people in the academy were also in disgust of Charu that how could she behave so low & cheap that she snatched someone's life from her.

Charu - Achha sun, Tilli..ja uss Dr. Aneesh ke paas ja aur behoshi ka injection ready karva. Kuchh bando ke saath ja aur uss Balli ko dhund kar la.

Tilli - Jaisa aap kaho, tai!

Karan (in mind) - Vo Aneesh bhi inke plan mein shamil tha?!

Sanju (in mind, in academy) - Lagto hai Dr. Aneesh ko apni jaan pyaari na thi jo inn atankhvadiyo ka saath diya.

Batra sir (in mind) - Dr. Aneesh is also now Shergill prey and I know, he'll make sure that he doesn't have an easy death!

Tilli obeyed what Charu said and was about to leave from their when Karan who's disguised as Balli appeared in front of them. Coming face to face with Charu, did nothing but just add petrol in the already ignited large fire which can burn her down any moment. Karan felt like slitting Charu's throat immediately by something sharp and his state of mind was very well understood by Batra sir.

Batra sir (through the mic) - Shergill, control yourself! Don't forget hume itni aasan maut nahi deni hai Charu ko.

Listening to Batra's words, Karan got reminded of his main motive and just by one thought of Monami, his nerves calmed and he relaxed his posture a bit.

Though Balli's presence isn't favoured by Charu also but today looking straight into his eyes made her heart thump with fear. She saw some different sort of feelings in his eyes which were never seen before.

Charu (slightly scared) - T..tu yaha kaise, Balli?

Karan (gritting his teeth) - O ji, tussi pukaro aur aissi na aaye ae to nahi ho sakda ji.

Charu - Haan chal theek hai, zyada baatein mat bana. Aur ye bata tu itne din tha kaha?!

Karan (sarcastically) - Kyu? Tussi mar rahe thhe mere bina?

For the very first time, Charu didn't answer back Balli as today she was quite scared and felt timid due to his tone. The usual stupid and joking tone of Balli was replaced by a hard yet dominanting one. She just frowned and looked away in order to not to show her scared expressions.

Charu - Bus bus, bahot ho gaya tera. Tere liye ek kaam hai, bol karega?

Karan - Dasso (tell)!

Charu - Dekh humare pichhla plan successful nahi hua. Vo Karan Shergill abhi bhi apni academy mein zinda hai, vo nahi mara...

Karan (cutting her words) - Aur Monami ka kya? Vo to apni Jaan gava baithi na!

Charu (angrily) - Bhool mat Balli ki main tujhe har kaam ke paise deti hoon. Zyada zabaan mat chala varna zabaan kaat dungi! Aur ye kya 'Monami Monami' laga rakha hai?! Aise kaunse connections jud gaye tum dono ke?

Seems Charu doesn't want to live anymore. Though considering him Balli, she offended and provoked Special Agent Karan Shergill. Till now Charu was taunting or insulting him (Balli) in some or the other way but the moment things went on to his Rani Sahiba, he badly wanted to punch Charu in her face forgetting that Karan Shergill does not raise hand on women.

Dr. Mahajan who entered the surveillance room just a few minutes ago, heard what all Charu said for his daughter. Even his anger reached to his peak as he can't tolerate even a single bad word for his princess. But being enough mature, he knew that this isn't the time to get hyper. He has to stop Karan otherwise the whole plan would be destroyed.

Dr. Mahajan (through mic) - Karan, don't! Just don't lose your calm! Shaant ho jao. Kisike liye na sahi..a..apni Rani Sahiba ke liye hi!

Dr. Mahajan said so with great difficulty as still he isn't able to digest the fact that his daughter ever loved a soldier. Listening to what Dr. Mahajan said and thinking about his Rani Sahiba, he dropped the punching idea for the time being and continued to listen to Charu's rants.

Karan - Oji, ab kaam bhi das do!

Charu - Mere peeche aa! Uss Karan Shergill ko aur uski puri academy ko barbaad karne ka ek naya plan banaya hai maine!

Karan nodded and started walking towards where Charu was directing. He was observing each and every surrounding & even the minimal details very attentively. He was turning perfectly so that even the academy people who are in the surveillance room can see the PRF hideout properly from inside & make note of each and every detail.

While walking behind Charu, Karan's gaze fell on the burnt part of the hideout which reminded him of the most dreadful event that took place in his life. His life changed completely and took a very drastic turn. His life that seemed heaven when she was around was now hell. He looked towards that same burnt area where he lost his love, his Monami! His heart ached remembering the very last conversation he had with her. He thought that it's her who's talking to him for the last time. But what fate has for someone is completely unpredictable. The tables turned & it was Karan now who's yearning for her presence, her togetherness & her love every second of his life.

Karan & Charu reached the room where the whole planning & plotting is done. Karan entered and found it all dark. Charu turned on the only bulb hanging in the room & he saw that some men who seemed like security guards were already present there. A long table was placed in the center and a few chairs were also kept. On the front wall, a projector screen was also hung. Charu went and took out a chart from one of the shelves and spread it on the table.

Karan's eyes almost popped out as he was shocked looking at what Charu presented in front of him. He never in his worst nightmares thought so. He's still not able to come out of the trauma of one major loss and now this is making his heart thump faster in nervousness and fear of loss.
