The moon became the witness of how much these loved ones are yearning for their union. It knows being away from each other is worse than death to both of them. Two people who couldn't imagine being separate for even a single second from each other, have to face separation just due to some harsh circumstances. But the moon also knows..love always wins!

Their love will conquer over all the grief, separation and tears. Soon the tears of grief MoRan are having in their eyes right now will soon be replaced by the tears of happiness. Both were determined to take revenge from the foes of nation and were also determine & desperate to reunite soon!

The night was long, it took a lot of time to both Karan and Monami to drown in slumber with an aching heart. Somehow they managed to overcome their pain and slept reminiscing the beautiful memories they made together.

The next day, Karan got ready in a swift as they all had to gather in Batra sir's cabin to execute the next step of their mission, Mission Dhadkan. In Batra sir's cabin, Param, Karan, Faizi, Sanju, Koel, Sid and Balli were gathered. Batra sir entered and sat on his chair.

Batra sir - Balli, tumhe pata hai na tumhe kya karna hai?

Balli (being overly confident) - O haanji sirji, sab yaad hai Balli nu! Maine o Charu de kol jaana si, usse thodi aur information ugalvani aur usse faltu kale kauon ko gate se hatana taki academy ke commandos unpar dhava bol sake! Correct ji?

Karan - Correct, but Balli yaad rakhna ki tujhe apna dimaag istemaal karne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai. Already kam hai,  khatam hi ho jaega!

Param - Ek aur baat Balli, confidence achha hota hai but overconfidence nahi! So, dhyaan se. 

Balli nodded but felt offended at what Karan said and pouted at his insult as the rest chuckled and smirked.

Batra sir - Siddharth and Koel, aap dono PRF ke hideout ke cameras hack kar loge?

Koel - Yes sir, we won't disappoint you!

Sid - Sir, I'll hack the cameras and Koel will handle Balli's button camera.

Batra sir nodded listening to the plan and found it apt. Param was feeling nervous and was attempting to say something but wasn't finding the correct way and time to say what he wishes for. Batra sir who knows Param since his early training days, found his silence odd because he's not someone who stays away from all the action in the mission and Batra sir understood everything by looking at Param's face only. 

Batra sir - Shergill!

Karan & Param (together) - Yes sir!

Batra sir - A..I mean Param...

Param - Yes sir. 

Batra sir - Kya hua? Kya chal raha hai tumhare dimaag mein?

Param - Sir actually..I wanted to join the team in the mission. 

Batra sir (confused) - But you're already the part of the back-up team. 

Param - I know sir, but I want to be on field. 

Everyone was surprised at what Param said. Batra sir was also surprised because Param is not someone who's actions depend on his emotions. Param is one of the very smart and best commandos the country has and now he's behaving so immature was very shocking for Batra sir and Karan. Karan who knew that his brother is not someone to agree to someone so easily was quite furious now. After Monami's supposed demise, Karan's overprotective nature towards his people has increased to infinity. After losing his sunshine, he can't afford to lose another person who has miracaly returned in his life. Karan didn't wait for Batra sir to respond and himself started blabbering.

Karan - Bilkul nahi! Aap kahi nahi jaoge! Aapko back-up team mein rehne ki permission de di na, khush raho usi mein. Aapko kuchh ho gaya to? Koi serious injury ho gayi to? Kya jawaab dunga main bhabhi ko?! Itne saalo baad to thoda light or happy feel ho raha hai sabko, kyu sabko firse andhere mein dhakelna chah rahe ho?! Aap...

Param (yelling) - KARAN!

Not only Karan but everyone flinched at Param's tone. Though Batra sir, Faizi and Sanju have seen Param being angry on Karan sometimes, but it was the first time for Balli, Sid & Koel to see someone yelling at Karan. Karan now realized what grave mistake he just committed. Param is a professional man and likes to implement professionalism in his life. Param rarely considers Karan as his brother when they are on a mission or something. Batra sir wanted to calm down Param's anger but stopped thinking that his rage towards Karan is justified. It is very unusual of Karan to lose his hold on his professional nature when he's in Batra sir's cabin. 

Param (in a stern tone) - Special Agent Major Karan Shergill, hope you know that you are not supposed to be personal here! Yaad hai ya yaad dilau?!

Karan lowered his head as he felt embarrassed getting scolded in front of his juniors, but he knew that he deserved it. He was forgetting the fact that he's a commando and they do not have any life assurance and they should be ready to give their lives for the nation. Everyone except Param knew why Karan's emotions busted.

Karan (in a feeble voice) - I'm sorry, I'm extremely sorry sir!

Param was about to reply something to Karan to scold him for not gripping on his emotions, but Batra sir showed his palm to Param and stopped him, knowing the situations both the Shergills are going through. 

Batra sir - It's ok, don't worry! Param, Karan sahi keh raha hai. Tum abhi to captiavation se release hokar aaye ho. You aren't fit for going on the field!

Param (determindedly) - Sir, yaad hai ek baar aapne mujhse ek baat kahi thi? Ek fauji kabhi bhi itna unfit nahi hota ki vo apni bharat mata ki suraksha na kar paye! 

Batra sir sighed as he knew how stubborn these Shergills are. Batra sir knew that it is unsafe for Param to join the mission physically but also knows about his Zidd. Being helpless and in a need to have Param in this mission, Batra sir nodded in agreement making the rest slightly surprised.

Batra sir - Fine Param, you can be a part of this mission. (PaRan was about to interrupt) But you'll be following Karan's instructions. I know vo tumse umr mein chhota hai aur position mein bhi but I can't risk your life by giving you the command of the mission!

Param smiled wide in his victory and Karan sighed at his defeat but Karan mentally made a note of prioritizing his brother's health and safety over anything in this mission.

Batra sir - Commandos, ready?

Everyone - Ever ready, sir!

Batra sir nodded being proud of his trained commandos, Param, Karan, Faizi & Sanjana, his chest heaved with pride looking in those determined and fierce eyes of Sid & Koel who aren't completely trained yet but are stepping in the mission. Also, a mere truck driver like Balli who for some time lost the path is also a part of a very important mission, this thought alone was commendable.

Batra sir dispersed everyone from his cabin and just hoped for hearing good news about the mission getting successful soon. The participants of the mission gathered in the security room. Dr. Mahajan too came to the security room. Sid connected a button camera to Balli's clothes and connected it to his laptop straightaway. Koel too did all the arrangements for hacking PRF's hideout's CCTVs. Param, Karan, Faizi & Sanju loaded their guns and took extra bullets too.

Those ragious eyes held an unknown fire in them. Fire of revenge!

Karan - Main plan ek baar fir dohra raha hoon. Balli yaha se Charu ke paas jayega, usse baaton-baaton mein thodi aur information nikalvaega. Uski aur Charu ki baatein Sid & Koel ke clearly sunai dengi aur record bhi Kari jaengi. Dr. Mahajan will also be a part of the mission and will help in providing medicinal support. Main, bhaiya, Faizi or Sanju hideout ke bahar hi honge. Jaise hi Balli Charu se information nikalvaega, we'll quietly attack all the guards aur iss time, Koel CCTVs off kardegi taki Charu ko humare baare mein pata na chale. Aur aise...hum PRF ko khatam kardenge!

Karan took a deep breath for not blasting his lava that was boiling inside him right here and saving it for the mission by thinking that the murderers of his Rani Sahiba are still alive. Dr. Mahajan saw Karan's each and every feeling in his eyes and wanted to hug him, comfort him and console him as a father figure. But the thought of him being his daughter's love interest and the person because of whom she lost her life, he dropped the idea. But as he's a doctor, he can understand pain very well, whether physical or emotional. Dr. Mahajan hit his arms on Sid's arm who was next to him and signalled him towards Karan. At first, Sid was confused but when he understood what Dr. Mahajan wanted from him, he smiled at the hidden concern. 

Sid who was standing beside Karan kept his hand on Karan's shoulder and pressed it slightly showing concern through his touch.

Sid (whispering in Karan's ear) - Karan sir, maanta hoon jab aap gusse mein hote ho to M..Monu bro ko bahot hot lagte ho. Bu..but that doesn't mean ki aap abhi-bhi gusse mein rahe. Shaant ho jaiye!

Karan wanted to glare at Sid for advising him so immaturely but also knew that his Rani Sahiba actually doesn't like him getting mad unnecessarily. He smiled faintly at Sid's words making Sid surprised. Karan chuckled sarcastically and nodded making the pain in his eyes obvious for Sid to understand. Sid too smiled at him and tried to convert the pain in his heart into power and motivation. This silent conversation of SidRan was noticed by Sanju and she decided to confront Sid later. 

Karan - Everyone ready for the mission?

Everyone/Param & Dr. Mahajan - Yes sir/Yes!

Karan (loudly)- Everyone ready?!

Everyone/Param & Dr. Mahajan (loudly) - Yes sir/Yes!

Karan (yelling) - EVERYONE READY???

Everyone/Param & Dr. Mahajan (yelling back) - YES SIR/YES!!!

 Karan nodded at the determination and ferociousness of his fellow mates. He excused himself while Param, Faizi & Sanju were discussing and looking at some last-minute things and Balli, Koel and Sid were busy with the technical things. Karan went in his room and kept his gun aside. He pulled out the picture he has tucked under his pillow and smiled faintly while looking at it. He sat on his bed with a thud, looking at his Rani Sahiba's joyful smile intently. He glided his hand on her fair, glowing face and the faint smile converted into a sad one. 

Tu baat kare ya na mujhse
Chahe aankhon ka pegaam na le
Par ye mat kehna are o pagle
Mujhe dekh na tu, mera naam na le 

Karan - Rani Sahiba, this is the final call! Ja raha hoon aapka badla lene. All the best nahi kahogi?

Karan just imagined as if Monami is wishing him best of luck and motivating him to accomplish this mission also like his previous ones. Karan & Monami always dreamt of having a beautiful married life with her father's permission. Karan is aware about Monami's cliche fantasies of biding Karan adieu with a goodbye kiss and demand of returning back all fit and fine, whenever he'll go to any mission after their marriage. A thin layer of tears formed in Karan's eyes remembering what all dreams they saw together and also realizing that now no dream of theirs is going to turn into reality. 

Monami - Khadoos Shergill, your Rani Sahiba hate tears!

The moment that one tear was about to stream down Karan's eyes, this line of Monami's instantly clicked to Karan. Once when he was having a nightmare remembering his brother, his Rani Sahiba was there wiping his tears and hiding him in her embrace and comforting him. That's when she told that how much she hates tears in her Khadoos Shergill's eyes.

Obeying what she once said, Karan harshly wipes his tears and again a soft smile lingered on his lips. Karan hugged the frame and was trying to absorb that peace from it which he always gets when he's with his Rani Sahiba.

Karan - Rani Sahiba, kal jab apne bhaiya se saalon baad mila na, kasam se tumhari bahot yaad aayi thi and I know ki bahot jald tum bhi mere paas, mere saath hogi! Chahe koi kuchh bhi keh le, lekin mera dil keh raha hai ki..aapko kuchh nahi hua hai. Tum achhe se jaanti ho ki dimaag se sochne wala banda hoon main, aaj jab dil ki sun raha hoon to please mujhe galat mat prove karna. And always remember, no matter what..your Khadoos Shergill loves you and will love you till my last breath!

Confessing so, Karan again keeps the photo frame under his pillow and stabilises his condition. He went out to the hanger area only to see all the members of the mission there and surprisingly, Barkha was also there.

Karan - Bhabhi, aap yaha kya kar rahe ho?

Barkha smiled as she understood why was he in his room and caressed his cheek with her palm, making Karan blink his eyes rapidly to hide that pain and those coming tears.

Barkha - I know ye mission kitna important hai, khaas kar ki tere liye. Ye le!

Barkha forwarded a spoonful of sweet dahi which is often fed to the person to wish him luck for their work. One by one, everybody had the dahi and were all set to accomplish 'Mission Dhadkan' with their guns loaded with bullets and hearts loaded with rage.

Barkha shifted slightly near to Param and looked at him with eyes full of care and worry.

Param - Sweetu, tum chinta mat karo. Iss baar chup-chaap tumhara paas vapis aa jaunga!

Barkha (getting slightly emotional) - Vo to aana hi padega varna...

Barkha couldn't complete her statement and side-hugged Param. Param too encircled his arm around her shoulder and secretly kissed her forehead.

Param - Barkha, thank you! Mujhe trust karke iss mission par bhejne ke liye.

Barkha - Param, mere pati se pehle tum ek fauji ho. Aur tumhe yaad ho ya na ho, magar mujhe humari shaadi ke vachan achhe se yaad hain. Main kabhi bhi tumhare kaam aur responsibilities ke beech nahi aaungi!

Param smiled wide with pride that how great of Barkha it is to keep all her fears and insecurities aside and still send him on a mission when she already had lost him once.

Dr. Mahajan (in Karan's ear) - Hey, all the best for your mission.

Dr. Mahajan said it in the most fake egoistic voice as he tried his best to hide his concern for Karan. Karan just smiled and nodded at him.

The commandos were finally off for the accomplishment of the most important mission. While the flock of cars was accelerating towards PRF's hideout in a fast speed, on the other side stood a small paddy cottage that was located far away from the main road and also near to PRF's hideout.

A woman in her mid 20s was sitting on the edge of one of the cots with her head hung low and creases of stress formed on her forehead. The other lady who was in her late 60s observed the emotions she contained in her eyes and decided to comfort her. The lady came and sat beside the girl and kept a hand on the girl's shoulder startling her.

Kamla aunty - Kya hua beta? Pareshaan kyu ho itni?

Monami sighed as she realized that all that was going on in her mind and heart was easily depicted through her eyes and there's no use of lying. Monami pulled out Karan's handkerchief from her pocket which she found in Karan's coat during the cadet's welcome party fiasco and saw it lovingly as if she's looking at Karan.

Monami - Pata nahi ye kaunsi ajeeb situations khadi kar rahe hain Bhagwanji?! Karan apne bhaiya se milkar kal bahut khush hua hoga, aur hona bhi chahiye! Hum jab bhi saath hote thhe na, to bhaiya ka zikr ho hi jata tha aur mujhe achha lagta tha ki Karan mujhe apne sukh-dukh mein shaamil karta hai. Lekin..lekin, kal main uski life ke sabse bade lamhe mein uske saath nahi thi. I know..bahot roya hoga, bacho ki tarah roya hoga, bhaiya se lipat kar roya hoga! Magar iss baar uske aansu pochhne ke liye main nahi thi uske paas!

Monami's voice cracked by the end as fresh tears of guilt filled her eyes. Monami was not feeling any fine making Karan yearn for her. She felt extremely guilty of making and the tear drops started falling from her eyes. The person whom she always wanted to be happy & smiling, she has made him cry for n number of times. Monami closed her eyes and dig her face in her palms and started whining loud. Kamla aunty felt pity on these two souls who are desperate for getting together but sometimes, God has some other plans and sometimes, your luck isn't with you. 

Kamla aunty - Beta, shaant ho jao. Ek baat batao, tumhara Karan yaha hota to kya khush hota tumhe aise bacho ki tarah aansu bahate dekh??

Monami chuckled sarcastically with tears on her not-so amazing fate. Every time it would be Karan who used to cry or blame himself because of feeling guilty & Monami would console him with a warm hug. But now the tables have turned! It is Monami now who cannot stop crying in the guilt of making her love cry and she can only wish for her Karan to be with her. 

Monami - Karan hota to aansu pochhkar warn karta ki agar rona band nahi kara to bahot laps lagvaunga!

Bakshe tu jo pyaar se mujhko
Toh ho meri rihaai 

Monami smiled remembering her Karan and his every time habit of scaring the other person using his 'laps weapon'. But as soon as Karan's drill's thought came in her mind, Monami remembered what all he taught her about skills, strength and aim. Monami took a deep breath and now her chest and brain were filled with determination of accomplishing for what both her and her love are suffering.

Kamla aunty - Ek baat puchhu beta?

Monami - Hanji aunty, puchiye na.

Kamla aunty - Beta, jab tumhe pata hai ki vo tumhare bina itna tadap raha hai aur tumse bhi uske aansu aur dukh nahi dekha jaata to kyu use itna tadpa rahi ho? Chali jao na uske paas, bata do na use sach ki tum bilkul theek ho.

Monami smiled at her question and sadness prevailed in her hazel orbs.

Toh ho meri rihaai 

Monami - Pyaar intezaar karna jaanta hai! Aur mujhe mere Agent Shergill par pura vishwas hai ki ab tak to use shaq zaroor ho gaya hoga.

Kamla aunty - Baat to tumne bilkul sahi kahi, bus main to yahi prarthana karti hoon ki tum dono ka ye dukh jaldi sukh mein badal jaye!

Kamla aunty caressed Monami's hair and all of a sudden, Kamla aunty's son, Ketan came running and huffing, worrying both Monami & Kamla aunty.

Ketan - Monami didi! Monami didi!

Monami - Arre Ketan, kya hua?

Ketan - Didi, kuchh log gaadiyon mein PRF walo ke adde ki tarf jaa rahe hain!

Monami was stunned at this newfound information as she thought that someone whom both Monami & PRF members are expecting is about to arrive by evening. Knowing about some people's arrival so early was a tension for Monami.

Monami - Kaun hain vo log? Kuchh pata hai unke baare mein?

Ketan - Hanji didi, 3 lambe-chaude aadmi hain, jinme se ek thoda golu-molu hai. Aur sabne kaale kapde pehne hain, hathiyaar bhi hain unke paas. Haan, aur ek ladki bhi hai ek dum heroine jaisi!

Kamla aunty glared at Ketan, and he bit his tongue. Both Kamla aunty and Ketan averted their gaze towards Monami and found her smirking with pride as she knew who those people are. 

Ketan - Monami didi, unse khatra nahi hai kya? Aur aap aise muskura kyu rahe ho?

Monami (with a proud smirk) - Mujhe laga hi tha, vo aayega zaroor! Vo Karan hai, mera Karan! Aur vo baki sab log bhi Parakram SAF ke commandos hain jo yaha zaroor PRF ko destroy karne hi aaye honge, knew it!

Ketan and Kamla aunty too smiled seeing Monami smiling after so long. In a span of few days, Kamla aunty & Ketan made an unusual bond with Monami whom they rescued while she was taking her last breaths. Monami got ready as soon as she could in the usual black outfit, same as PSFians and bid adieu to Kamla aunty and Ketan. Monami rushed near the hideout of PRF and hid at some distance. She covered her face securely with a black cloth to hide from both the terrorist who wants to captivate the country and also from the person who has captivated her heart.

The commandos from Parakram SAF reached near the hideout and stopped their cars at some distance. They all stepped down and as the hideout came into Karan's view, his nostrils flared as his blood boil as everything that took place at this very same place started revolving in Karan's mind. But trying to maintain his calm and trying to not intrude the hideout and kill Charu straight away, Karan took a few deep breaths and calmed his racing heart. Monami who could see everything from far away, lowered her eyelids as she very well knew what must be going in Karan's mind and heart. But somewhere she was always that she could see her chosen family after so long and that too all safe and sound.

Karan - Balli, tujhe sab yaad hai na?

Balli - Aaho ji, Balli nu sab yaad hai! Balli chutkiyon mein Charu se sab information nikalva lega. 

Param - Chutkiyon mein kuchh karne ki zaroorat nahi hai, take your time. Bus Charu ko shak mat hone dena. 

Balli understanding very well what all he's supposed to do, nods confidently to the commandos. Sanju came ahead and passed a fully loaded gun to Balli, surprising him. 

Sanju - Balli, ise apne paas rakh. Aur agar bahot zaroorat pado, to hi istemaal karna. 

Faizi (fixing Balli's button camera) - Yaad rakhna Balli, agar Charu ko tumpar zara sa bhi shaq hua na to vo tujhe explanation dene tak ka intezaar nahi karegi aur uda degi! Dar to nahi lag raha?

Balli (confidently) - O pajji, Balli nu dar-var na lagda! Aur Karan pajji, Balli ki vajeh se tussi apni Dhadkan se juda hue na, ab ye Balli da mauka hai..main apni galti nu sudharne vaste jaunga!

Karan smiled faintly and Monami who couldn't hear anything due to the distance, too smiled seeing her Khadoos Shergill's smile after so long. Everyone felt slightly proud on Balli as he has realized what grave mistake and finally, Balli was off to talk to Charu and the rest of them covered their faces and hid at some distance so that they could see whatever movement takes place at the hideout.

Everyone hid at their particular places and Monami could see everyone from afar. She just wanted to rush and hug Karan so tightly that even air couldn't pass from in between them. But getting a hold on what her heart desires, Monami shrugged off her wishes. But along with being worried of Karan and his safety in this mission, she was also nervous about getting caught. She was extremely scared of how Karan will react when he'll get to know that the person for whom he's shedding tears and mourning all day and night, is actually alive. Monami just shrugged off such heartbreaking thoughts.

On the other hand, Karan's heart unknowingly started pounding at a very high pace making sweat beads form on his forehead which were noticed by Param. 

Param - Karan, tu theek hai na? Tujhe paseena kyu aa raha hai itna?

Karan - N..nahi bhaiya, kuchh nahi. Theek hu main!

Though Karan replied to Param that he's all fine but he himself was feeling strange. He was feeling as if his missing part is soon going to be united with him. His restlessness was very evident on his face that made Monami also worried and surprised. Karan had a feeling that maybe all his sorrows are going to be changed in happiness very soon. Karan looked here and there in search of seeing something that will provide his heart with solace and calmness, but maybe that one particular person was herself hiding from him. But the most unusual thing was, after Monami's brutal demise, Karan always feels empty & disheartened and this restlessness and lack of peace is often felt by him but today or right now, a slight hope that maybe very soon he'll get what he's yearning for!

Both Monami & Karan were feeling incomplete in their own positions and wanted to hold the other one forever. Monami was lucky enough to atleast have her love in front of her eyes, but Karan was still in hope of finding her very soon and never letting her go. They both said a silent prayer for each other's safety once and the commando inside them again came in power. The softness of their eyes again got replaced by the intentness of accomplishing this mission and destroying PRF to the fullest who snatched many innocent lives without any mercy.
