After discussing some more things about the 'revenge mission', Batra sir departed everyone from his cabin. But after descending the stairs, Karan stopped everyone for something. Everyone guessed that it's maybe something emotional or something what his heart is holding since long time. But all were stunned to listen to what Karan commanded.

Karan - I want everyone in the discussion room after an hour. Faizi, make sure that each and every cadet must be present!

Faizi nodded at Karan's words and then Karan started to march towards his dorm. Everyone somewhere understood what's going to happen now as they observed that Karan was hardly making any eye contact with anyone. Because no matter how much you hide your feelings, your eyes say it all!

As Karan entered his room, he made sure that he properly locks the door. Once he ensured that he's getting his much-needed solace, his eyes started to get heavier, and his knees started to get weaker. And in no time, he was on his knees crying hysterically due the most heart wrenching reason!

Meri raahon mein pade

Ne kahan.. ne kahan

Karan (roaring) - Ra..Ra..ni Sahi..ba!! Mai..maine kya kiya tha?? Maine to bus..py..aar kiya tha aapse! A..pne pyaar ko koi ai..aise chhod kar ja..ata hai kya?!

Karan held his knees near his chest and cried hard digging his face between his knees. Suddenly, he felt a warm sensation beside himself but didn't dare to lift his head. When there was no movement in Karan except crying, he felt a soothing sensation of someone's hand gliding over his hair. He immediately lifted his head and his eyes softened at the view before him. 

There was his Monami! Kneeling down at him wearing the outfit he loves the most on her, her cadet uniform having the blue sports bra and the olive-green jacket! She was smiling widely on the sight of her Khadoos Shergill & Karan also got surprised to see her in front of him.

 As Karan saw Monami, he wrapped his arms around her body and pulled her in his embrace. He was hugging her tight & with each passing second, his hold was getting tighter and tighter. 

Monami - Ah..Kha..doos Shergill, chhodo! Saans nahi aa rahi mujhe. I..I know already mar chuki hoon, but still!

Karan (shouting angrily) - MONAMI!

Monami - Achha, sorry sorry! 

Karan (releasing her from his hold) - Kyu aayi ho ab yaha? Jao, chali jao!

Saying so, Karan went and stood near the window of his room. The droplets of tear were not stopping & were falling constantly from his eyes. His eyes showed pain, willingness & the sorrow of separation from his love. Monami smiled at his antics and went towards him and back hugged him. He closed his eyes to feel what he was longing to feel. Karan didn't want to break down but has heart ever listened to anyone?!

Gradually, a stream of tears started trickling down his cheeks and his sobs turned into loud wails. Monami was surprisingly not surprised by this scenario. She just went in front of Karan and cupped his face and started staring at him with a wide smile.

Karan - Tu..Tumhe kya ma..za aata hai mu..mujhe aise rulakar?! 

Monami - Haww! Mujhe tumhe rulane mein kabse maza aane laga?

Karan - Nahi aata to..to chhod..kar bhi..bhi na jati!

Karan's breaths got stuck in his throat due to constant crying. His eyes got red and heavy. Monami couldn't see Karan's condition anymore and wiped off his tears with her thumb. He too did the same and wiped off her tears. Both felt the most needed warmth & peace which they found earlier whenever they used to be beside each other. 

Karan leaned a bit closer to Monami and inhaled the fragrance of her hair. He felt some sort of sensations tingling through his nostrils and goosebumps formed all over his body. Karan cupped her face in his palms and leaned a bit closer to Monami to make his way towards her cheeks. He glided his lips on her soft cheeks in order to wipe off the tears which were still flowing from her eyes looking at her crying love. 

Karan felt 'sukoon' in being with her. He didn't want her to go now. He wanted to keep her close to himself. He wanted to hold her close to him...forever!

Karan - Ra..Rani Sa..hiba! Ab to nahi ja..jaogi na mu..mujhe chhodkar?!

Monami sighed being helpless as she can't fulfill Karan's wish. She just took his hands between her palms and pulled him closer to herself. 

Monami - Tumhe ek baat pata hai, Khadoos Shergill?

Karan (sobbing) - K..kya?

Monami - Jab maine tumhe Diwali shopping ke liye insist kiya tha aur tumhari hoodie return ki thi. (Shyly) To vapis dene se pehle mai..maine na use ek baar pehen kar dekha tha!

Karan smiled slightly remembering the cute-sweet moments & banters which he used to have with her. Karan nodded like a kid making Monami smile contentedly.

Karan - Kaise bhool sakta hoon use?! Uss hoodie mein se tumhari khushboo ab tak bhi nahi gayi hai!

Karan chuckled sarcastically and sadness again spread on his face. 

Paon ko thhe miley zameen ki tarah

Chod ke kyu gaye ajnabi ki tarah

Monami - Bus fir, jis tarah uss hoodie mein se meri khushboo abhi tak nahi gayi...vaise hi mera pyaar bhi tumhare paas se kahi nahi jaega! Jaise uss hoodie ne meri khushboo ko aaj tak pakde rakha hai, vaise hi (taking his hands in hers)...Vaise hi humara pyaar hume pakde rakhega. Humare pyaar ko zinda rakhne ke liye mera zinda hona zaroori thode hi hai! Tum jaante ho na, Karan ki I'm always with you no matter what. Maut ki itni aukaat nahi ki hume juda kar paye!!

By the time Monami completed, Karan's eyes were completely blood red, his lips were little parted in shock and the scrunched lines on his forehead straightened in seriousness. Monami was about to speak further in order to make him understand that they're just distant physically but emotionally, she's always with him. But before she could utter a word, he placed his finger on her lips to prevent her from speaking further.

Karan (sarcastically) - Sahi kaha tumne, 'zinda rehna pyaar ke liye zaroori thode hi hai'! To fir ek kaam karta hoon, main bhi na tumhare paas aa jata hoon. Fir hum dono saath mein rahenge, bo bhi humesha ke liye...heaven mein!

Monami (with slight tears in her eyes) - Karan! Please aise ma..mat bolo na! Please aise haar mat mano, you're my brave Agent Shergill!

Karan couldn't handle anything anymore and fell on his knees in front of Monami. She sighed helplessly on his vulnerable condition and knealed in front of him.

Karan (crying hysterically) - Main k..kya karu, Mo..Monami! Main nahi jee sakta tum..hare bina. Tu..tumhe pata hai aaj Batra sir ne hum sabko PRF se badla lene ke liye mission karne ke liye k..kaha. Pehle mi..ssion par jaane se pehle bada excited ho..hota tha, lekin kabhi..kabhi bhi nahi socha tha ki..ek din apne p..pyaar ka badla lene ke liye mi..mission karunga!!

Completing the confession of the sorrow and disgust which he felt while discussing the mission, he broke down completely making Monami's heart clench.

Monami - Karan, please samajhne ki koshish karo. Aisa mat socho please! Tum nahi chahte kya ki jin logo ki vajeh se tum apni Rani Sahiba se juda hue, jinki vajeh se mere papa ne mujhe kho diya, jinki vajeh se Sid ne apni Best Bro ko khoya, jinki vajeh se Faizi, Sanju, Koel, Bala, Chitra, Premji, Sumanji aur Premji ne apni dost cum behen kho di, tum unse badla lo? Kya tum unko aise hi chhod doge?!

Karan - Monami, aisa kabhi mat sochna! (Angrily) Unka to vo haal karunga ki maut ke liye tadpenge vo! Unke shareer mein se khoon ka ek-ek katra khatam karunga! Unhe batunga ki jab ek fauji ke desh, deshvasiyon ya...pyaar par baat aati hai, to vo kis had tak ja sakta hai!

Monami smiled with satisfaction as she got a glimpse of her old Karan in him. She kept her hand on his bearded cheek and caressed it softly.

Monami - Haan to bus, go & take revenge! Aur haan, abse mera har kartavya tum pura karoge. Fulfill your duties, Agent Shergill!  

And after this, some weird white smoke again formed & Monami vanished as the smoke cleared. Karan's eyes again got watery on the realization that she isn't in real!

Suddenly Karan's sleep was broken by a loud continuous knock on his door. He stood up realizing that his Monami was not there in real, she just came here to encourage him, to prevent him from breaking down, to bring out his real self which got hidden due to Monami's sudden demise. He immediately wiped off the tears which remained on the corner of his eyes and then checked on his appearance. Once he ensured that he's looking exactly the same as he was looking an hour before, he opened the door and was not surprised to find a concerned & tensed Sid. 

Karan - Siddharth, tum yaha?

Sid (hesitantly) - Sir, a..ap theek hain na?

Karan nodded with a small fake smile which was immediately caught by Sid. But he decided to not to comment as he himself is not in the situation to comfort him.

Bhara sa lagoon

Soch ke baat yeh darra sa lagoon

Karan - Hm..tum sabko lekar discussion room mein pahuncho, main bhi aata hoon zara fresh hokar.

Sid nodded with a short smile and left to inform everyone, not about Karan's command instead about his condition. Basically, he was sent by the cadets to ensure that whether Karan is alright or not.

Without wasting a second further, Karan barged into Monami's room and found that Sanju's bed was a little messy this time, but Monami's was all cleaned and dusted. Her bed was also made and all her belongings were on their right place. He smiled looking at Sanju's acts and stepped ahead. With each step, every memory which he lived with Monami roamed in his head. But this time, he stabilized himself and went towards her favorite corner of the room, the window side.

As he opened the window, a cold breeze of air touched his face making him close his eyes. He took a deep breath and inhaled Monami's aroma which was still in her things & her bed. 

He went ahead and picked up her second buddy, Gappu! He sat down on the edge of the bed with Gappu in his hands and stared at him with a sarcastic smile for a few minutes. He recalled how Monami used to share every single thing with her plant buddy, whether big or small, Gappu knew it all!

Karan - Oye Gappu, tu bhi apni Monu ke bina bore ho gaya hoga na. I know vo bahot buri hai jo tu..tujhe or mu..jhe chhodkar chali gayi. Lek..kin main aisa bilkul nahi hoon, abse tu mere saath rahega. 

Karan picked up the water spray from the side & watered Gappu first as he's been thirsty since days as Monami was not here to water him and will never be there again. Karan held Gappu near his heart and marched to his room with moist eyes & aching heart!
