Nimrit (in mind) - Bhaisaab to pure lattu hue pade hain iss NRI jaisi doctor pe! Abhi kuchh nahi bolti main, dekhti hoon ki ye yaha aaye kyu hain aur Beeji inse milne kis khushi mein aayi hain! Saara raula meri zindagi vich hi kyu aata hai, kyu vapis aaye hain ye shehri log?!

Nimrit's wicked thought process was broken by Parminder's words.

Param aunty - Sanju behenji, tussi sabse main wali gal ta dasso!

Sanjot (facepalming herself) - Lo karlo baat, jis kaam ke vaste yaha aaye hain vo hi karna bhul gaye!

Karan - Kya kaam, Beeji?!

Sanjot & Param shared a look along with a wide smile and both the best friends nodded at each other. Looking at the excitement at Sanjot's face, Karan somewhat knew what his Beeji is upto but still he wanted to know it clearly, maybe just for his Rani Sahiba's happiness. 

Param aunty (excitedly) - Tere pind mein vapis aane ki khushi mein ek chhota sa jashn (party) hone wala hai! 

Both Monami & Karan were amazed but Monami was excitedly surprised, while Karan was deeply shocked. He could never accept going to the house where his Daarji disowned him. Also, all his childhood memories whether happy or sad were made there and he wasn't ready to face those flashbacks. Karan was about to disagree immediately, but Monami spoke before him. 

Monami - Beeji? Party, kyu?

Though she was just enquiring it, but Karan could clearly hear the hidden excitement and happiness in her voice. Plus, seeing the shine in Monami's eyes when she heard about the celebration, Karan had a thought to agree for once. 

Beeji - Haan puttar, (caressing MoRan's cheek) Mera putt meri hone wali nooh ke saath pehli vaari apne pind vich aaya hai. Bina kisi jashn ke jaane degi ye Sanjot? Kadi vi na! 

Both Monami & Karan smiled wide looking at each other and then Sanjot & Paraminder too smiled at their younger generation. But someone was there who wasn't happy knowing that MoRan's arrival is now going to be celebrated. Nimrit was burning in jealousy looking at those four people who were happy in front of her. 

Nimrit (in mind) - Waah beeji, waah! Mere aur mere Rane ke aane par to kabhi koi jashn nahi kiya aur bade bete ke aane par ekdum jashn ka aelaan, waah! Hadd hai doglepan ki!

Seeing someone else getting love & attention in front of her, Nimrit couldn't stand it anymore and thought to intervene.

Nimrit (cunningly) - Hanji Beeji, ye bada changga ho jaega! Karan bhaisahab aur Doctorni ji ke aane ki khushi mein vadda jashn hoyega, haina! Sab log honge, pura pind hoga aur...Darji, (fakely getting scared) oh ho Darji vi to honge, ae to raula (problem) pay gaya!

Everyone's excitement shooed away on the mentioning of Daarji. Everyone got slightly happy due to the celebration that'd be happening after so long, especially in Karan & Sanjot's life. But now those happy faces were successfully replaced by tensed ones by Nimrit. Nimrit was getting internally happy looking at Monami's face that got dull because Karan had lowered his eyes, and she knew he would be having flashes of the day his Daarji pushed him out of the house in front of the whole village. Both Sanjot & Parminder noticed Karan's eyes being filled with sadness and agony.

Parminder (caressing Karan's hair) - Niraash na hoi puttar, jo hua so hua, assi kuchh ni kar sakte uska. Tu apna dil chhota na kar, jashn hoga..bahot vadda jashn hoga!

Looking at Parminder trying to encourage MoRan who are now extremely disheartened. Nimrit was about to smirk when Sanjot broke her instance.

Sanjot - Monami puttar, tu aaj raat ke liye apne aur Karan de kapde soch le, mere pote aur uski hone wali nooh nu chamakna chahiye pure jashn vich!

Monami (surprised) - Magar Beeji...

Sanjot - Magar-Agar kuchh na jaanti aaj ye Sanjot, mere pote ke lautne ki khushi har ghum se vaddi hai!

Karan & Monami understood a grandma's love and happiness regarding her grandson's return but also feared of Dilpreet, their Daarji. Nimrit was still smirking as her plan of not letting MoRan be celebrated was working and Parminder was smiling at Sanjot. 

Karan - Beeji, hume koi jashn-vashn nahi chahiye. Kuchh dino ke liye hain hum yaha, main nahi chahta ki mere parivaar ko mere wajeh se koi problem ho, 5 saal pehle already bahot problems de chuka hoon!

Sanjot came near Karan and slapped his cheek slightly making both him and Monami chuckle. Karan's words somewhat made Monami nervous about her ideas and plans but she thought to believe on the 'ek onkar' and decided to do what will be right for her to-be family's happiness. 

Sanjot - Karan puttar, mainu kuchh nahi pata...tu aayega matlab aayega! Himmat hai to taal ke dikha apni Beeji ki baat, hai himmat?

Karan - O na na, Beeji..itni himmat na hai tere commando puttar mein ki teri ya teri nooh ki baat taal sake! Lekin vo kya hai na Mrs. Sanjot Dilpreet Shergill, aapke jo pati hain na vo mera aana pasand nahi karenge. Aur tere puttar ki wajeh se tera unse jhagda ho, ye tera puttar nahi dekh payega. To jashn da plan cancel! Over...

Karan was about to complete his sentence when Parminder came ahead and twisted his ear tightly making him wince & Monami laugh. Nimrit was surprised while Sanjot smiled nostalgically as she saw a glimpse of her toddler Karan who used to get his ears twisted by her & Parminder in the same way. 

Karan (wincing) - Auntyji, aaaahh....kya kar rahe ho..aaaahh!

Param aunty - Khotteya, apne Daarji ke darr se apni Beeji nu naraaz kardega? Inna hi pyaar karda tha tu apni Beeji se? Hain?!

Before Karan could reply, Monami held his hand and made him stand at the corner to avoid any disruption in the ladies' happy mood. Though Sanjot and Paraminder were stunned by her audacity as Karan listens to only few people and Nimrit was surprised by her act and thought that Sanjot would be having some objection, but the way Sanjot was smiling looking at MoRan irked Nimrit. 

Monami - Oh please Karan, don't be a spoil sport! Beeji aur Auntyji ne kitne pyaar se, kitne dil se iss jashn ke baare mein plan kiya hoga, tum socho zara. We shouldn't hurt their feelings. Aur vaise bhi abhi tumne hi kaha, hum sirf kuchh din hain yaha pind mein, to hume Beeji ki baat maan leni chahiye na Karan. Pleaseeeeee!

Monami's words had hit the right spot. Karan wasn't realizing that he might not get such a chance again and who knows whether he'll return to Amritsar or not. But he was still in a dilemma and was contemplating whether they should go or not. When he looked towards Monami for the final decision, her squinted doe, sparkly, excitement-filled puppy, to which he can never deny made his lips curve into a smile and he nodded at Sanjot & Parminder. The happy trio of ladies had a good exchange of smiles and laughter while Karan just stood their adoring his women. 

Param aunty - Puttar, tujhe apne Daarji ki chinta hai na? Tu unki fikar na kar..jashn Shergill Haveli mein na, balki saaddi haveli vich hoga. Vo bhi to tuadda hi ghar si na!

Sanjot (smiling widely) - Ae changga hai! Tum dono vadiya se sajke shaam ko Param de ghar aa jana. Tab-tak tum dono ke swagat ki taiyaariyan kar lete hain hum, chal Nimrit..taiyaariyon mein madad nahi karani?

Sanjot and Parminder were so excited to welcome Karan & Monami that they rushed out of the hotel pulling Nimrit and didn't even let Karan insist to drop them. As they left, Karan & Monami looked into each other's eyes and found the same emotions of fear, love, excitement & pure happiness. Monami made Karan sit down on the bed and herself sat on his lap. Karan felt that there was still a little distance between them, so he pulled her waist and now she was so close to him that she could also feel his warm breaths fanning her face. Their lips were so close to meet but before the union of their lips could happen, a commotion at the door ruined the moment. 

Nimrit - O sorry ji, sorry! Main to bus apna bag lene aayi thi, mainnu ki pata tha ki yaha to...kuchh aur hi chal riya si!

Listening to Nimrit, Monami immediately stood up from Karan's lap and started adjusting her clothes and hair to make the situation look normal, but the red hew on her face was giving it all. While Karan just scrunched his nose as he's been craving for his Rani Sahiba now and there are a lot of disturbances. 

Monami (embarrassed) - Na..nahi nahi Nimrit, aap galat samajh rahi hain. Ai..aisa kuch nahi hai, vo to bus..bus...

Monami was not able to make up any excuse due to the embarrassment and also because Karan was again and again gliding his finger on her waist from behind. Nimrit just left with an amazed face and here Monami was fearing that she might tell about this to Sanjot.

Nimrit (exiting the hotel) - Waah waah, to ye sab ho raha hai! Hmm...Karan bhaisahab to bade tez nikle, shaadi se pehli hi...Hn, abhi sab batati hoon Rana ko!

While Nimrit tried to call Rana to tell everything that happened, he didn't pick up any of her calls. While inside the hotel room, Monami turned towards Karan and glared at him with squinted eyes. Special Agent Major Karan Shergill, who fears none is now getting scared by his Rani Sahiba's angry glare. He made a cute puppy face and was about to get up from the bed to escape. But little does he know; his Rani Sahiba knows him better than he knows himself. Monami pushed him hardly on the bed and herself sat on his torso and held his shoulders. Karan was amazed by this bold move by his shy love but was eagerly excited to what's coming next. 

Monami (pulling his color) - So Mr. Karan Shergill, kya kar rahe thhe aap? Nimrit ke saamne k..kyu me..mere...

Karan (smirking) - Tumhare...tumhare kya, Monami?

Monami closed her eyes being shy as Karan was smirking and this smirk of his is enough to intimidate her. But gathering all her courage, she decided to ask it out. 

Monami (stammering) - Tum..tum kyu ch..chhed rahe thhe mujhe Nimrit ke saamne?

Karan raised his one eyebrow with a very naughty look on his face and directly flipped the situation. Now he was on top of Monami while her petite figure was under him. Karan and Monami looked directly at each other with great amount of romantic intensity. 

Karan (whispering in her ear) - Rani Sahiba, ab aapka ye gulaam aapko chhedne ki gustakhi nahi karega to bhala kisko karega? Aapke sivaay koi dikhti hi nahi! 

Karan confessed whatever was in his heart with so much love that Monami couldn't handle the intensity of his words and just hid her heated red face where she feels the most comfort and safe, in her Karan's embrace. Karan couldn't help and just chuckle on how fast the bold, fierce Monami turns into a cutie who's always shy. Karan laidd on the bed making Monami come out of his hold & this also confused Monami because he never does so. 

Karan - Jaiye Rani Sahiba, aaj raat ki party ke liye taiyaar hona shuru kar dijiye. Kyuki agar abhi main shuru ho gaya to I doubt ki hum party ke end mein bhi pahunchenge ya nahi!

Monami gasped at his shameless words and immediately rushed towards the cupboard to select 'their' outfit for tonight. By the time Monami was fondling with her dresses and accessories, Karan thought to have a short nap because he knows this scenario of hers won't end any sooner.

At Parminder's home, Parminder had already called her husband Harmanpreet early from work and had explained him the whole scenario. He was elated by the news of Karan returning home after 5 years. Not only Parminder but Harmanpreet also considered Karan as his own son and now as he's returning, Harmanpreet doesn't want anything to be less to welcome Karan & Monami. Sanjot, Parminder, Harmanpreet & Nimrit were decorating the whole haveli and everyone except Nimrit were desperately waiting for the noon to end, so that they can wholeheartedly welcome Karan & Monami. Everyone was so endulged in doing the decorations that they didn't notice when Rana came running. 

Rana (huffing) - Bee..Beeji! Beeji!!

Harmanpreet - O ki hoya puttar, kyu 'Beeji, Beeji' chilla raha hai?

Rana (teary-eyed) - Chachaji, tussi mainu ek gal dasso. Kya Karan bhaisahab pind vich hain?

This question of Rana caught the attention of the three ladies too. Sanjot could very well understand what Rana must be feeling as she has herself witnessed how these brothers became each other's shield in tough situations, how they bonded over silly things & how much they love each other since their childhood. Sanjot with happy tears in her eyes came towards Rana & kept her hand on his cheek.

Sanjot - Haan Rana puttar, tera vadda praa pind vicho hi hai! Aaj shaam ko aayega vo aithhe! Khush hai na tu?

Rana stared into Sanjot's eyes for a moment and then looked towards Nimrit who's daydreaming about Rana being upset about Karan's return as it would snatch the love & attention Rana is getting after Karan left the pind. But much to her shock, Rana's eyes welled up on the mentioning of his beloved elder brother and in no time, Rana could be seen jumping here and there in extreme excitement and happiness like a child, making Sanjot, Parminder and Harmanpreet smile and Nimrit grit her teeth in irritation. 

Rana (screaming in happiness) - Oh mera praa ghar aa raha hai! Mera vadda praa laut raha hai! Mere bhaisahab mere kol aa rahe hain! Beeji..Beeji, mainu yakeen nahi ho raha, Karan bhaisahab..sachi?!

Sanjot - Oh haan puttar, tera vadda praa sach mein pind vich hai aur aaj shaam ko yaha aa raha hai! Aur akela nahi aa raha, kisi aur bahot khaas ko bhi lekar aa raha hai apne saath!

Rana (with moist eyes and excitement filled voice) - Waheguru da lakh-lakh shukrana ki unhone mere bhaisahab nu vapis humare paas bhej diya! Mai..main apne Karan bhaisahab or vo jo bhi bahot khaas hain..unke swagat mein koi kami nahi chhodunga! 

Harmanpreet - Haan haan puttar, sirf tu kya..hum mein se koi bhi koi kami nahi chhodenge, sadda puttar aa raha hai! Achha hai ki tera dada kaam se shehar gaya hai aur kal savere hi lautega varna bada siyappa ho jaana tha pind vich. Chal chal, tu bhi jut jaa taiyaariyon mein!

Rana without hearing to anyone, just joined in the work of arrangements and decorations with full enthusiasm. His heart was overwhelmed by the news of his brother's return and now he won't allow any scope to remain. Nimrit was shocked looking at how excited and happy Rana is after listening about Karan that he didn't even care to know who's the other special person who's coming with Karan. The whole afternoon was spent in the preparations for tonight's party and soon after completion of their respective works, everyone went to get ready.

Soon the sun set in the west and the sky turned dark. The arrangement at Dhillon's (Harmanpreet & Parminder Dhillon) Haveli was extravagant. The Haveli was grandly decorated and no corner was left un-lighted. The exotic flowers were spreading their sweet scent while the delicacies prepared by Sanjot & Parminder were overpowering the flowers and scented the whole Haveli with their fragrance. By Sanjot's desire, all the people of the pind were called and she was well aware that mostly ladies would be coming as most men, including Dilpreet have gone to the city for some official work, so it's also very safe right now.

In the hall of the haveli, guests started to arrive and were cordially attended by Harmanpreet and his wife, Parminder and Nimrit was also there faking her smile and gestures as she wasn't happy at all by looking at Sanjot & Rana who have their eyes stuck at the gate waiting desperately for Karan & that other 'special' person also.

Sanjot (waiting eagerly) - Rana, meri aankhein to tarsi jaa rahi hain apne puttar ke intezaar mein!

Rana - Oh Beeji, aapne to ek baar dekh liya hai bhaisahab nu, mere dil se puchho kitna taras raha hoon main apne vadde praa se milne ke liye!

Harmanpreet, Parminder and all the present guests smiled at the mother-son duo and Nimrit just figeted irritatingly with the end of her dupatta.

Nimrit (in mind) - Dekho to kaise apne vadde praa ka intezaar kar rahe hain, aisa bhi kya khaas hai unme? Ye nahi soch rahe ki unke aur uss doctorni ke aane se koi hume ghaas bhi nahi daalega. Ek to dopahar se ye Rana saari taiyaariyon mein lage hain, mujhe ek mauka bhi nahi mila inse baat karne ka, inhe samjhane ka ki Beeji ko apni taraf hi rakhna hai!

While the eagerness in Sanjot & Rana's eyes was increasing, someone heard what Rana said and smiled widely while his eyes brimmed with fresh tears seeing the love and excitement. MoRan had already reached Dhillon's haveli and heard what Rana said for him.

Karan - Dekh veere, aa gaya tera praa!

Karan's words drew everyone's attention towards the threshold of the door where Karan & Monami were standing hand-in-hand. Everyone immediately rushed towards the door and looked at MoRan from top to bottom in adoration.

The guests along with Sanjot, Rana, Nimrit, Harmanpreet and Parminder couldn't help and just admire how they both looked so beautiful together. Karan was in a pinkish kurta, looking extremely dashing and Monami was dolled up in a pink saree with minimal makeup and jewelry and looked absolutely stunning, just like a princess or rather say Karan's Rani Sahiba?

Sanjot went rushing to MoRan but before her someone else reached to them. In a blink of an eye, Rana ran and literally started crying like a little baby in his elder brother's protective arms. Both the brothers were now having tears in their eyes and the ones who were watching them couldn't help but she'd a few tears too.

Karan (trying to lighten the situation) - O bus kar Rane, saans to lene de!

Rana (sobbing) - Oh na bhaisahab, le li aapne jitni shehar ki hawa leni thi, ab to bus yahi ke reh jao. Pata hai ki..kitna yaad kiya maine aapko pichhle 5 saalo mein!? Har din yaad aati thi aapki, chinta bhi hoti thi!

Karan - Yaad to mujhe bhi aati thi sabki...

Rana (breaking the hug) - To fir aap aaye kyu nahi?

Karan's eyebrows straightened at Rana's innocent question and only him and Monami knew what has been holding him back for these many years. Monami looked at Karan and knew that if the barrage of his emotions broke, everyone's mood would be spoiled.

Monami (trying to lighten the situation) - Karan, ye Rana bhaiya hain kya?

By Monami's question, everyone looked at her and instantly forgot what Rana had asked. Karan knew what his Monami has done and why and felt instant gratitude towards her.

Rana - Oh haanji, main hi hoon Rana urf Randeep Singh Shergill! Lekin ji, tussi kaun?

Sanjot chuckled at Rana's question and came ahead with a Puja ki thali in her hand. She held Rana by his forearm and swiftly made him stand beside, so that she could welcome them.

Sanjot - Rana, ye Monami hai..teri hone wali parjayi!

Rana and the guests gasped at the revelation and were very excited plus confused as Sanjot said 'hone wali'. But Rana's happy Bhangra after knowing about his soon to-be parjayi (sister-in-law) made everyone not to enquire about the matter right now.

Param aunty - Sanju behenji, bacho ki arti karo tussi aur swagat karo inka!

Sanjot nodded happily and came ahead to do arti of MoRan as Karan has come to his home after so long and Monami is coming for the first time. She did tilak to both of them and made them feel extremely loved and special. Sanjot also did the 'nazar utarne wala' step to avoid any evil eyes from the beautiful couple.

Param aunty - Karan puttar, Monami ka haath pakad aur usko ghar ke andar laa. Pehli baar aayi hai saaddi nooh pind vich, isi ghar vich uska chhota sa grahpravesh karvadete hain! Nahi?

Sanjot smiled happily and Karan held Monami's hand in hers and MoRan's eyes containing pure love met for the microsecond making a pinkish hue appear on their cheeks. Monami was about to take a step inside when someone's voice stopped her.

Kuljit (random neighbour) - Sanju behenji, apni nooh se kalash to girvalo, dhang se swagat karo nayi bahu ka.

Sanjot - Swagat karana mainu bhi aata hai Kuljit, lekin main Monami ka achhe se grahpravesh tabhi karaungi jab use apne pote ki patni banakar Shergill haveli vich laungi! Puttar, abhi tu aaja andar.

On Sanjot's sign, Karan and Monami kept their right feet ahead and entered the Haveli, receiving a loud applaud and making them feel like the chief guest of the night, so special and praised. As they stepped in, Rana & Harmanpreet took Karan with him after he touched everyone's feet and Sanjot took Monami where all her friends were sitting. Sanjot's friends were happy to see Sanjot smiling so widely after so long. They were surprised when Monami bent down to touch everyone's blessings and seek their blessings. 

Sanjot - Behenji, isse milo tussi..ae hai meri hone wali nooh, mere Karan ki pasand!

A lady who's Sanjot's friend came ahead and made Monami sit between them and caressed her hair, Sanjot too sat beside her. All were praising Monami for her beauty and serenity that's reflecting from her face. Nimrit was now extremely annoyed as none of Sanjot's friends were noticing her & were only focusing on Monami & Karan's arrival. She forgot that when she came to Shergills' house as newly wedded wife, she too was receiving this much of attention and now when Monami is receiving what she deserves, Nimrit's insecurity knows no bounds. 

Gurmeet (Sanjot's friend) - Behenji, vaddi soni kudi hai!

Harleen (Sanjot's friend) - Bilkul...bade kismat wala hai sadda Karan, itni soni kudi jo mili hai!

Sanjot - Harleen behenji, sirf Karan na..hum sab bhi bahot kismat wale hain. Aakhir saddi hone wali nooh ke Karan ki zindagi mein aane se Karan pind vich laut aaya hai!

Listening all the praisings by Sanjot & her friends, Monami just lowered her head while smiling wide and thanking everyone for whatever compliments they gave. Nimrit looked sideways to avoid seeing all the happy faces of Monami, Sanjot & her friends and what she saw made her clench her jaw. Rana was emotionally talking and expressing to Karan & was telling about many happenings that took place in the last 5 years. Their interaction wasn't being handled by Nimrit and she thought to say what she saw in the afternoon. Nimrit came and sat beside Monami and now Monami was on a cot with Sanjot & Nimrit on either side. 

Nimrit (smiling cunningly) - Bilkul sahi kaha aapne auntyji, Karan bhaisahab vaise khush-kismat to hain aur Monami ji bhi utni hi naseebo vali hain. Ab shaadi se pehle hi lipta-chipti aur chumma-chaati ho to kaunsa joda (couple) khush nahi hoga..mera matlab hai pyaar bahot hai dono mein, maine to khud apni aankho se inka pyaar dekha hai!

By indirectly telling everyone about what she saw in the hotel room, Nimrit made the ladies chuckle shyly and made Monami slightly embarrassed. But to her relief, Sanjot glared at Nimrit and thought to handle the situation. 

Sanjot - Sahi to hai behenji, humare time mein to hum humare patiyon se kadi mile bhi nahi vyaah se pehle. Kam se kam aaj kal ke bache ek-dusre ko jaan to lete hain pehle se hi.

Monami sighed in relief by how Sanjot handled the situation and made the ladies laugh without extending the matter. Nimrit again felt defeated as Sanjot is only and only praising Monami and not even looking at her. She has now decided that she will flaunt and show-off in front of Monami as much as possible. 

Param aunty - Behenji, tuannu pata hai saaddi hone wali nooh, Monami vaddi doctorni hai!

The ladies were amazed by the new-found information about Monami & were very happy for Sanjot. Sanjot held her head up in pride as the ladies didn't only praised Monami for her beauty but also for her achievements. 

Kuljit (Sanjot's friend) - Sachi puttar, tu doctorni hai? Meri kudi (daughter) bhi doctori ki padhai kar rahi hai. Tune kaha se ki doctori ki padhai?

Monami - Haanji auntyji, main doctor hoon. Maine medicine ki padhai USA se ki hai aur auntyji, main jald hi ek commando, matlab fauji bhi banne wali hoon. Bus final exams ke results aane hi wale hain!

The ladies were very much amazed knowing that a girl could also pursue in a branch which is mostly associated with men, according to backward mindsets. Now everyone looked at Monami with so much sparkle in their eyes as they admired how brave and courageous she must be as she chose being a commando and is already a doctor. 

Gurpreet - Sanju behenji, tuaddi to pancho ungliyaan ghee mein hain aur sar kadhai mein! Vadda munda sheher vich fauji hai aur hone wali nooh fauji bhi aur doctorni bhi! Waheguru ki vaddi meher hai aap pe!

As Gurpreet, who's Sanjot's friend just praised Karan & Monami and their respective professions, Nimrit couldn't believe how they forgot about her and Rana. 

Monami - Um..vaise auntyji, Rana bhaiya bhi to kitne achhe hain aur Nimrit bhi. Main zyada nahi jaanti magar unhone (Karan ne) bataya hai mujhe Rana bhaiya ke baare mein ki vo kitne sweet hain aur sabki kitni help karte hain.

Nimrit passed a short smile to Monami as she praised her husband in front of Sanjot's friends. Sanjot too blinked her eyes towards Monami, thanking her for handling the situation so efficiently. Sanjot then took the ladies towards the table where all the food was kept and asked them to have dinner. Now only Monami & Nimrit were left in that area. Monami looked back and found Karan smiling and laughing wholeheartedly with Rana and opening his heart out. That most gorgeous smile made Monami's heart flutter and looking at Karan, Monami's lips too curved into a big bright smile. 

Nimrit (cunningly) - Aap bhaisahab ko hi dekhte rahoge ya fir zara mujhse bhi baat karoge?

Nimrit drew Monami's attention towards herself and Monami too thought to make a good bond with Nimrit as now she has to be a part of this family. 

Monami - Nahi nahi, aapse bhi baat karungi, aapse dosti jo karni hai! Bataiye na aap kuchh apne baare mein. By the way, aapka suit bahot pretty lag raha hai. 

Nimrit (faking her accent) - Oh thank you, thank you! Ye suit maine yahi se ek local store se liya hai, but it has branded clothes, you know. By the way, aapki saree bhi...hm, theek-theek hai, thodi light lag rahi hai mujhe. 

Monami (with a short smile) - Um haan, actually main itna saree vagera pehenti nahi hoon na and Karan knows about it, to ye Karan ne hi dilayi hai. Vaise, aap agree karo to hum kabhi saath mein shopping chalenge na, main zyada traditional wear nahi layi hoon to maybe I could buy some. What say?

Nimrit (in mind) - Achha...to ye suit vagera pehenne wali nahi hai aur Daarji ko kate-fate kapde bilkul pasand nahi. Hehee..Karan bhaisahab ki pasand ko to Daarji yu mana kardenge. 

Nimrit started some plotting in her mind against Karan & Monami and just smiled forcefully at Monami's offer of shopping together. Karan who was busy talking to Rana and some of the guests, looked towards Monami and found something fishy in the way Nimrit forced her smile at Monami. He knew about his Rani Sahiba's friendly nature and just wished for her to not to end up in any new problem. Already they've risked a lot by agreeing for this party and now Karan is fearing how will Dilpreet react when he'll get to know about Karan's return. Will he be happy to see him after so many years? Or will he still be upset and anger-filled about what happened 5 years ago? Will he accept Monami or reject her the same way he rejected Karan's dreams?
