LILLIAN was getting nervous. She and Ned arrived at Peter's house hours ago and Peter is still out who knows where.

"Calm down, Lils. I'm sure he's fine" Ned said, although he's not sure. He hasn't got any updates from him.

"Ned, it's almost 10:00 p.m and he still hasn't shown up! We've been here for hours! Hours! How can I calm when he could be gone missing!" Lillian said. She can't hold her nervousness anymore.

"He isn't missing. I'm sure he just lost track of time" Ned said.

"Lost track? Ned, he said he forgot something! You don't disappear for hours just to find something! That's it! We're going!" Lillian said and started to walk out from the room, until Ned stopped her by standing in front of the door.

"Where are we going?!" Ned asked nervously Lillian who glared at the poor boy.

"To find Peter! Aunt May will come home any moment now and that boy is still nowhere to be found! So I suggest that we look over for that guy before Aunt May go crazy" She said and Ned shook his head.

"W-Why don't we stay here and wait for a couple of more minutes? Peter could be home any time soon too" Ned said and Lillian looked at him as if he said something stupid...well he kinda did.

"Really Ned? He's been gone for hours. Do you really think he'll be here any minute now?" Lillian asked.

"Well he could be.." Ned answered.

"Why are you so opposed of us looking for him? Are you sure you don't know where he is? Or...are you two hiding something from me..." Lillian said with doubt on her words. Ned started to be more nervous than before. He can't really say that Peter is Spider-Man to Lillian! It's not his secret to tell. And besides, he didn't know where Peter was. He hasn't contact him yet.

"No! We're not hiding anything from you." He said.

"Then let's go and look for him!" She retored.

"Lillian!" Ned yelled and Lillian stared at him in shock.

"Please, just, just calm down alright? He'll be here soon. I promise" He said and then something flashed through her mind.

"He'll be here soon. I promise" Lillian heard from her mind, making her look at Ned with sad eyes.

"Funny how promises of yours and Peter's works in a different way..." She said and then left without glancing at Ned who tried to call her.

Ned thought that she left because she was sad and angry that Peter didn't show up...again. But he was only half right. She left because what he had just said made it remember her something that she wanted to forget.

oOo

As soon as Lillian left, Peter came running from the door and he was panting hard.

"S-Sorry guys, i-it's just I couldn't really f-find it and-" Peter tried to explain but stopped when he only saw Ned alone.

"Where's Lily?" He asked.

"She went home, dude. She was furious. She wanted to go and search for you...I tried to make her stop and make her stay here, but she was panicking like crazy and insisted on searching for you. But she won't listen. She just looked at me with sad expression and then left" Ned explained making Peter feel bad.

"When did she left?" Peter asked.

"Just before you came" Ned answered. Peter sat on the couch.

"I'm a bad friend...aren't I?" Peter muttered. Ned sat beside him.

"No. You're not a bad friend. You have a double life dude. A student and a superhero life. It wasn't your fault that someone needed your help." Ned said, trying to comfort Peter.

"But it's my fault that she left...again." Peter said.

"She just didn't know about your other life, Peter. One day, she'll understand everything" Ned said.

"I hope so..." Peter said. He didn't mean to left his friends like that and not come back for hours. He had a job too. And that is to be there when someone needs help. Some people may think that being a superhero will be fun and an easy work. But it's not. Being a superhero means that there's going to be a point where you lose something or someone and Peter had a feeling that he is losing someone.

The Next Day.

Later that day, Peter tried to talk with Lillian in every way he could possibly think of, but Lillian didn't want to talk and just ignored him. He didn't know what to do anymore. He didn't want to lose a close friend.

"I'm going crazy, Ned!" Peter said as the two of them sat alone at the table. It was lunch time and Peter thought it would be the only chance he got to talk with her since she always sits with them, but not this time. She and Mj sat at a diffenrent table, away from the two of them.

"Just give her some time, dude. She was really angry with you, so I'm not even surprise if she's ignoring you" Ned said.

"Thanks for your support, and it's not only me, it's us. She hasn't talk with you either" Peter retored

"I tried once, but then I saw something in her eyes.." Ned said.

"Saw what?" Peter asked.

"Pain" That was the only answer Ned gave Peter. Because that was he saw when he tried to talk with her. He saw pain through her eyes and it was something that he won't forget.

"Pain? Why would she look at you in pain?" Peter asked and Ned shrugged.

"I don't know" He said, but in reality he kinda did. Because deep inside, he knew that that look was meant for him.

oOo

"Did Parker do something to you?" Mj asked her bestfriend.

"No. Why would you say that?" Lillian said.

"Oh well, I don't know...maybe it's because you haven't spoken to them since this morning" Mj said.

"It's normal not to talk with them sometimes" Lillian said.

"Yeah, but not with you. You barely not talk with them before. But today, you haven't spoken with them! Let alone looked at them." Mj said and looked at Lillian.

"Did something happen?" She asked and Lillian just looked down at her food.

"It's just....I think that they're hiding something from us..." She said, but she already knew what the two of them were hiding. Well only Peter's identity. But what she didn't know was that Peter had something that was important to her too.

"Well, you're right. I could feel that too, but that ain't an excuse to not talk with them" Mj said.

"Mj, we waited for him for hours when he said that he forgot something at school. It only takes minutes for people to search for thing that they forgot. I tried to convince Ned to go and look for Pete....but he kept insisting not too...." Lillian explained.

"Maybe you should go and talk with them, or at least with him." Mj suggested.

"I don't think I can.." Lillian said.

"Why?" Mj asked but Lillian didn't respond.

"You know...I think Peter ditching you isn't the problem here anymore..." Mj said and Lillian looked at her shock.

"Is there anything that I should know, Lils?" Mj asked.

Lillian wanted to tell Mj everything, but she knew she can't. She can't let Mj risk something for her, not again. She won't let it.

"No"

That's all she said. Mj didn't really believe that. She knew that Lillian was hiding something, just like Peter. But she also knew that she might have a good reason why she's keeping it from her.

oOo

After school Lillian went directly to her house, not wanting to deal with Peter or her other friends for awhile. As much as it sounded bad, she needed time to be alone.
To re-think things that are happening.

"Why can't I change it?...Why is it so hard..." She said as she looked at a picture frame.

"Why is it so hard to change....I...I just want things not to turn out like...like it did.." She said and then looked at another frame.

"Why did you have to change....Why did you have to make me suffer again...." She said. Then she grabbed the frame and in that frame...you could see a picture of Peter.

oOo

"I thought I told you not to he here again?" Pepper asked Tony who was in his lab again.

"I know, but I'm sorry. You can't keep me away from my love" Tony said and Pepper looked at him with a 'really' expression.

"Love?" She asked and looked at the files that were trashed around the room. It was all about Violetta. Pepper sighed.

"Still got no clue?" She asked.

"She's impossible to find! I tried everything. Me and FRIDAY did every research that we could possibly do but still nothing! It's like...it's like she's not even a real person. She got no Identity! The only thing we know is her name. No history, no documents,no nothing!" Tony said.

"Maybe she's good at hiding her info? She must be really smart" Pepper said and Tony shook his head.

"No one is smarter than me, heck, I even hacked S.H.I.E.L.D's most important files! I swear, there's something wrong about her...." Tony said.

"Well what are your theories?" Pepper asked.

"I only got two. One, she could be an alien, I mean I wouldn't be surprised. Or two...." Tony said but stopped. Pepper looked at him confuse.

"What is it?" She asked.

"She could be from another world"
