It's a love story about...

A hot and handsome hunk who's quite rude and a self-centered man, who lives in USA but belongs to a large, yet small village named Raghupur. Karan's rude nature can maybe because as he has lived apart from his family since a very young age due to his studies. But still, he loves his parents the most. 

Karan Shergill is one of the brightest students at his former colleges and now, his company has topped the list of top 10 companies of USA. He's the son of the Sarpanch of Raghupur and is an apple of the eye for his mother and is his father's pride.

Many people have their residents in the village, but there's someone who's extremely special. Not just for one person but for the whole village. As it's believed that she was born on the first Purnima of that year, which was an extremely holy day.

Monami, despite of being the daughter of the poorest farmer of the whole village, she's very dear and close to everyone, especially the Shergills.

Monami, is one of the very beautiful, cute, sanskari, respectful and most importantly, she's a very self-esteemed girls of Raghupur and also the one who's the most educated as the Sarpanch and his wife considers and loves her as if she's their own daughter. So, they decided to fulfill her one and only wish, that was giving her freedom to study. But still there was something which was troubling Monami and was known only to her.

But still, there were some orthodox people of the village who believe that girls should not get any right to educate themselves and are only suitable to cook food for their family, husband and kids. Those people forced the Sarpanch to take something from her in return. The Mahajan's felt it the result of their good deeds of their past life as their daughter got support of the Sarpanch and his family itself in fulfilling her dreams. They begged the Shergill's to make her the maid of their huge haveli as they can't give them anything else in return due to their extreme poverty.

It's the duty of a Sarpanch to listen to the people of the village and it's a practice since decades that if the Sarpanch is personally helping anyone then he has to take anything in return. Unwantingly, the Shergills accepted her as their maid but only for the sight of villagers. Otherwise, they still consider her as their dear daughter.
