Making Karan understand that he should stay away from all such matters, Raghuveer too marched towards Monami and Supriya and joined the ladies. While Karan stood rooted as he again received a shocking statement from his father.

Karan (to himself) - Vaise to Maa aur Pitaji Monami se itna pyaar karte hain jaise unki apni beti ho! Mujhe bhi kabhi-kabhi jealous feel hota hai. But, ab...they're not paying any attention to her sadness! No no, mere mom-dad aisa nahi kar sakte. There's something which they're hiding! Mujhe pata lagana hi padega!

In a hope to get answers to all his queries, Karan was about to question it to Monami when Supriyan jumped in between the conversation. 

Supriya - Veer ji, Monami! Chaliye hum sab lunch kar hi lete hain, vaise bhi already 2.30 ho hi gaye hain.

Raghuveer - Haan haan, Supriya, lunch kar lete hain! 

Monami was about to go behind Supriya in the kitchen, when Raghuveer held her hand and made her sit beside her. He lovingly placed her hand on her head and carressed her hair.

Raghuveer - Karan, khada-khada dekh kya raha hai?! Maante hain US return hain sahebzaade lekin iska ye matlab nahi ki kuchh kaam-dhaam nahi karega. Ja, jakar apni mom ki help karva!

Karan nodded being helpless and went to the kitchen, while Monami & Raghuveer remained at the dining table and Raghuveer tried to divert her mind from all the happenings that took place in the morning. Karan entered the kitchen only to find Supriya glaring at him intensely & dangerously. He gulped looking into his mother's eyes and trembling feet, took the risk to move ahead. 

Karan (in a scared tone) - Maa, vo...

Supriya didn't want to hear anything from him and just held him by his elbow and made him sit on the slab. 

Supriya - Ab meri baat kan kholke sunle, Karan. Tu Monami ke saamne aaj subah jo hua uski koi baat nahi karega! 

Karan - Magar maa..

Supriya (cutting in between) - Chup, bilkul chup! Vo log kaun thhe, Monami ke kya lagte hain, falana-dhimkana aise koi sawaal nahi! Samjha?!

Karan just sighed and nodded in agreement. He thought and made himself understood that if everyone wants him to stay away from those matters, then they might be very confidential or something which Monami doesn't wants to share, so he shouldn't try to know the truth. 

Karan and Supriya brought the casseroles of food from the kitchen to the dining table and found Monami laughing carefreely on one of very lame jokes of Raghuveer, which he cracked purposely to lighten her mood. Karan smiled and took a seat beside Monami, while Supriya sat beside Raghuveer. Monami & Supriya served the food in everyone's plate as they know that serving food is not Karan's cup of coffee, he just spills whatever he has in his hand. All started having their food with smiles, gossips and laughs echoing in the surroundings. The servants who were standing & noticing the Shergill family from afar, just smiled contentedly praying to God to provide them with all the happiness. 

Suddenly, Karan's spoon fell down from his hand because he was playing with the food rather eating. Both Monami & Karan bent down in reflex and extended their hands to fetch the spoon from beneath the table. But as they both did that at the same time, they accidentally held each other's hands rather than holding the spoon. As Karan's hand gets a hold of Monami's hand, she looked up at Karan with a jolt and found him already staring at her like a love-sick puppy. She found that odd but just tries to wriggle out her hand from his hold. 

SuVeer noticed that Karan & Monami are under the table, so they just tap their glasses on the table. The 'thak-thak' sound bursts Karan's bubble of trance and he immediately left Monami's hand and got up with the spoon. Monami too got up and noticed him glaring at her with an apologetic face. Monami was surprised that he's apologizing for such small antics. She nods at him with a smile, and both again focus on their foods. SuVeer noticed the happenings between Monami and Karan and shared a look. 

Supriya - Karan, tu kal keh raha tha na ki tujhe gaon ghumna hai? Monami ghuma degi tujhe!

Karan (innocently) - Magar maine kab kaha??

Supriya glared at Karan while gritting her teeth and Karan gets that he has to agree otherwise it'll be his last day on earth. 

Karan - A..a..haan, kaha tha maine!

Raghuveer - Haan to theek hai! (To Monami) Beta, tum ghuma dogi na ise?

Monami - A..uncle ji, main kyu? Karan ji apne-aap hi ghum lenge na.

Supriya - Arre beta, ye nalayak kab, kaha kho jaega kuchh pata nahi! Tum hi chali jaana iske saath!

Monami & Raghuveer chuckled silently as Karan makes an offended face listening to his 'tareef' by Supriya. 

Monami - Theek hai aunty, ghuma dungi! Ek kaam karte hain na, hum sab chalte hain!

Raghuveer - B..beta, mujhe to tehseel mein kaam hai!

Supriya - Aur beta, mere to pair dukh rahe hain. Mujhe aaram karna hai!

Saying so, SuVeer just flew from there towards their respective places as if something is cooking up in their minds. They literally hogged up on their lunch and the servants started to take the used dishes to the kitchen. While Monami & Karan stared at SuVeer's in confusion and amusement. They stared at each other for a while and then went to their respective rooms to get ready for the village tour.

After half an hour, Monami could be seen outside the Shergill haveli wearing a simple pink chikankari Kurti, looking serene. 

She was glancing at her watch & inside the house time-to-time, waiting for Karan. Pissing her off for a few more minutes, Karan finally came out wearing a three-piece, grey colored suit making Monami gasp in shock. It seemed as if he has to go for some international conference.

Karan - Main aa gaya, chalo!

Monami (in amusement) - Karan ji, hum kaha ja rahe hain?

Karan - Arre, bhul gayi kya? Hume gaon ghumne jana hai!

Monami - Exactly! Hume gaon ghumne jana hai, na ki kisi meeting mein. Ye kya pehna hai aapne?! Kuchh comfortable ya fir traditional pehenkar aaiye!

Monami's words seemed more like an order to which Karan smiled softly as no one till date has ever ordered him like this and that too with authority, except his parents. Actually, he's not complaining, but liked it for unknown reasons.

Karan looked down upon himself and found out that he's actually very overdressed for a village tour. He bits his tongue internally and closed his eyes in embarrassment. Monami looked away hiding her smile & to make him comfortable. He immediately rushes inside and returns in another 10 minutes. As he comes out, Monami's eyes couldn't help but just stare at him, that too without blinking even once. 

He was looking absolutely handsome in the sky-blue colored kurta which he paired with his all-time favorite sunglasses. He was looking drop dead ravishing & it seemed as if no girl would be able to ignore his charisma. She has never seen him in such clothes and with a funky smile. She's always witnessed a Karan who believes in maintaining his demeanor and by his face, she could easily predict that he's not someone who easily opens up with people. He's a person who doesn't like wearing loose clothes like kurtas or graphic t-shirts, as told by Supriya in the past. But today he himself doesn't know why he chose to wear a kurta, but he did it from his heart! 

Karan realized her constant, deep stare at him and smirked. He snaps his fingers right before his face, making her fall back to earth. She immediately looks here and there, trying to hide the soft red hue that formed on her cheeks when she realized that she was shamelessly staring at him.

Karan (huskily) - Ye kapde theek hain, Rani Sahiba?!

Monami (surprised) - Rani Sahiba?!

Karan - Hmm...jiss tarah aapne mujhe kapde change karne ke liye kaha, aise to bus kisi shahi gehrane ki raniyan hi kehti hain.. isliye 'Rani Sahiba'!

Monami stared at him with her mouth cutely open. He chuckled at her reaction and walked past her. As expected, when she realized that he has already started to walk, she too ran a bit and started walking beside him.

The weather was already top notch, the sky was clouded with white cottony clouds, but the sun was still shining, mildly cold winds were blowing and made the whole environment serene and fresh. Monami & Karan walked side by side concentrating on their path. Though there were no conversations going on but still they found peace just by each other's presence. They knew that there's something changed inside them but aren't able to name it specifically! Monami was not able to figure out why has she even agreed to accompany him for the 'village tour' when she wants to concentrate on her topmost priority that is, study. Usually, she would've denied it to Raghuveer and could state the actual reason, but she heartedly wanted to assist Karan. Reason, unknown.  While Karan was also doubting his inner self that why did he changed when she asked to. Usually, Karan Shergill doesn't change himself or his clothes on anyone's insistence, whether it's his parents or someone else. But for the very first time, he actually obeyed someone. He went inside again and chose what he doesn't likes to wear. Because she said? Well, he's himself unknown to the reason.

Shrugging off their stupid heart talks & thoughts, they decided to just state it as a result of their 'hallucination, overthinking & watching too many B-wood movies'. Karan and Monami focused on capturing the beauty of the nature through their eyes. Monami being disturbed by her thoughts, started walking ahead and Karan followed her assuming that she's leading him to somewhere sighting worthy.
