Chapter 7
𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗧 day I woke up early, then began my research again while everyone was asleep.
As each second passed by, I became more and more anxious. I should be studying by now. The curriculum was already making me nervous just by looking at it. I was just wasting time because I was scared, and I probably needed someone to yell at me and tell me not to. My mum would do it, definitely.
However, my thoughts came unheard as my stubborn brain made me continue my research.
This better be worth it.
. . .
She's probably was just playing creepy to scare the girls off.
I scribbled down my notebook as the only thing I heard was silence. It was kind of creepy to be the only one awake in the house. Especially in a creepy house like the one we were staying in.
Soom enough, I heard a door creaking open, and I knew Steven was going to the bathroom then wake us up and start the day.
I headed towards the kitchen and sat on the wooden table as I waited for him to come down so I could spook him.
In case if you couldn't already tell, I'm hilarious.
We later headed to the mansion to begin the read-through and film the first scene. The whole time I was anxious, because of my studies and my wasted time. However, I got lost in the situation as I got more into 'living' the scene.
I also helped Gabriel and Beatrice calm down a little. Maybe Beatrice was more calm than my own boyfriend. Probably because he was anxious.
Scene :
The girl walked into the huge mansion with her family, which included her 6 siblings, and her 5 cousins.
Their older sister, Sarah, guided them through the halls, an expression of dread filled her face.
"I'll give you a tour around the house and then I can show you your rooms !"
She spoke with a little bit of enthusiasm. The others sighed, and some rolled their eyes.
Adelle was somewhat excited, however. She didn't want to remember what happened in their old town. She didn't even want to remember. She wanted to forget, and that situation was a nice opportunity. However, the house gave her chills. And she wasn't comfortable with her older sister's expression.
Little did they all know what was lingering for them in the darkness.
End scene :
We stayed four hours at the mansion. The read-through took about three hours, and the scene had to be edited. We finished at eleven o'clock, and Steven asked us to go back to the building to get some 'rest'. I knew it wasn't possible, for me.
As soon as we got into our room, Gabriel lied down on the bed and sighed.
"I'm so tired already.."
I smiled at him. "You're right. Me too."
And it took me just a second to frown.
"What's wrong ?"
I shook my head as I lied down beside him. "Nothing is wrong. I'm good."
"Um, okay."
I could tell he wasn't convinced with my answer, and to be honest, I was too tired to argue.
