I woke up the next day before everyone did, and got dressed in my normal-day clothes. I then took everything I needed, which included my notebook that I gathered my evidence in. 

The truth was, I lied. Yes, I was going to meet Rami and Mena in the new location, but Rami told me to be there at eleven o'clock. Not at nine like I told Steven. I was going to use that time to search through the library for anything else I needed to know, before I tell the cast and crew everything.

I got out of the mansion, then went to the nearest bus stop, and waited for the bus. 

After I reached the library, I sat down at a table and listened to the silence while I read my book. It was one of the books I've been reading ever since I started going to the library. Truthfully, it was really interesting, but the information inside was terrifying as hell.

I checked the time on my phone.

10:00 AM.

I had one hour left to the meeting.

I hoped it wouldn't be so bad.

In Another Place :

Gabriel opened his eyes, and stretched his arm to reach for his phone. He glanced at the time, and immediately got up from his sleeping position. It was really late. He looked around the room, trying to figure out if his girlfriend left or not. 

He saw a note on the nightstand, and reached for it quickly.

Left to meet Rami. Will be back soon. Love you. -Mal

He sighed in distress, and changed into his normal-day clothes. Then went downstairs, with his phone clutched tightly in his hand.

As soon as he was in the kitchen, he realized something.

No one was awake yet.

He opened the fridge to grab the peanut butter jar and the jelly jar, but stopped.

There was something deeply wrong.

He slowly walked out of the kitchen, towards the living room.

That's when he saw it.

The mirror that Mal touched the other day and started inspecting, was now removed to the side, revealing a big tunnel in the wall of the room.

Gabriel stared at it in horror, but as soon as it hit him, he went to grab his phone as quickly as possible and ran out of the mansion.

He frantically pressed on his girlfriend's number and dialled it, putting the phone closer to his ear.

It went straight to voicemail.

"M-Mal, hey. I need to talk to you.. Listen, I'm really scared, I know you told me not to worry about anything, but I just saw-.. I.. I need you to come home as quick as possible, I don't feel safe without you here, I love you..-"

That moment, he felt someone sneaking up on him from behind, and wrapping his strong, firm arms around his torso tightly, making him unable to breathe for a second. He tried to scream, but no voice came out.

Then, he felt something sharp and painful going through the softest part of his neck. He moaned loudly in clear pain, trying to free himself from the firm grip.

"Ohh-"

It hurt so much, and it actually brought immediate tears into his eyes. He groaned loudly again as he felt a liquid going through his system. 

"Please.."

That was his last word before he felt himself hit the bare ground with a loud thud.
