Chapter 2

𝗜 𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗗 hands with Gabriel as we sat in the bus quietly. He was sort of nervous, but didn't bother to say it, because he knew I knew. It was our thing ever since we started dating, which was about a few months ago.

It took me a few minutes after I thought about it, that everyone in the bus was nervous. No one said anything, because of how enthusiastically Steven, Adam and Ellen talked.

It was about a one-hour ride. We passed through lots of beautiful houses, then got into an almost deserted avenue.

I got lost into the scenery. It was so beautiful, and I don't say that more often.

As soon as the bus driver pulled over, I took a look at the huge mansion in front of my eyes. It was quite an old, stark mansion. It gave me chills in some way, as seeing it in pictures wasn't the same as seeing it in real life, but in another way it had a beautiful Victorian appearance.

Gabriel stared at it in an anxious expression. It was pretty much the same expression on everyone.

"Are you sure about this, Steven ?"
Aubrey asked in dread.
"Of course ! It's going to be awesome ! This place over there, is where we're going to all sleep ! I already picked the rooms and when we start filming and stuff. It will be fantastic..!"

"Yes, it's going to be beautiful !"
I couldn't help but roll my eyes at their enthusiasm. I mean, if we're all nervous and anxious as hell, then what was their enthusiasm coming from ?

I reviewed the building we were supposed to stay in. It was just as stark and rambling as the other mansion. A three-story building with a big, grass-covered yard around it. I was pretty sure it was made of red bricks. Not that it's so important.

It didn't take much time before we entered. Finn, Levi and Ty tried to lighten up the mood by telling random jokes. It worked for me, since I laugh at everything, but not for the others.

"Here's where everyone's going to sleep. I picked because, when you teenagers try to decide, you blow everything up."

Steven said as he handed us a small paper.

He's not wrong.

I noticed that he put Gabriel as my roommate, not with Beatrice like any other normal director would do. Great, now people would start asking questions. I can already feel it.

I eyed the corridor in dread, then headed upstairs to find my room.

Our room was pretty plain, and had very little furniture. Just a king-sized bed, a hairdresser, two armchairs, a round, red carpet and a small wardrobe.

We all know I'm taking a bigger part of the wardrobe. Duh.

And we all know that, even if we were staying in an old building, next to an old mansion where people must've been killed in a fire or something, we were still going to make the best out of it.
