It was the morning after Anakin and Athena's conversation and the girl walked out to the balcony and saw that Anakin was meditating and she looked at him before turning around.

" Don't go " Anakin said causing Athena to stop.

" I don't want to disturb you " Athena said as she turned around.

" Your presence is soothing " he replied.

" you had another nightmare last night? " the girl questioned.

" Jedi don't have nightmares " Anakin told her.

" I heard you " Athena said after a moment of silence. 

" I saw my mother " Anakin told her before he slowly turned to face her " She's suffering, Athena.....I saw her as clearly as I see you now " he turned away and faced the Naboo scenery with a heavy heart as he let out a sigh " She's in pain " Anakin turned to face Athena as he continued walking closer to her " I know I'm disobeying my mandate to protect you, Jedi Senator.......but I have to go, I have to help her ".

Athena looked at him before nodding " I'll go with you ".

" I'm sorry, I don't have a choice " Anakin exclaimed.

" I know......and I'm going to help you in anyway I can, Anakin " Athena told him with a reassuring smile as she placed a hand on his arm, which he looked at with longing
" Family comes first ".

Anakin helped Athena off the droid transport cart with a adoring look upon his face before she walked ahead and over to Watto, the younger boy following behind her. 

" Chut Chut, Watto.......let me help you with that " Anakin said to the Toydarian.

" What? What do you want? " Watto yelled as Anakin grabbed the contraption in front of the Toydarian and began to fix it as Watto continued " Wait, you're a Jedi.....whatever it is, I didn't do it " he yelled in pain when he hit his foot with the wrench.

Athena just stood silently some what, understanding what was being said. 

" I'm looking for Shmi Skywalker? " Anakin replied.

Watto squinted his eyes and looked closely at the boy in front of him " Ani? " he said and looked at Athena before looking at Anakin again " Little Ani? "

Anakin placed the contraption back in front of Watto.

" nah......You are Ani, it is you " Watto pointed at the Skywalker and used his wings to fly up to him as he spoke in English " You sure sprouted, huh? A Jedi? Whattaya know " he looked behind him before at the blonde Jedi again " Maybe, you could help with some deadbeats, who owe me a lot of money ".

" My mother " Anakin snapped.

" Oh, yeah, Shmi " Watto rubbed the back of his neck looking at Anakin sheepishly " she's not mine no more, I sold her ".

" You sold her? " Anakin glared.

" Years ago? Sorry, Ani but you know business is business, I sold her to a moisture farmer.....uhh, named Lars, at least I think it was Lars " Watto told him " Believe it or not, I heard he freed her and married her ".

Anakin was silent before he asked " Do you know where they are now? ".

" Long way from here....some place on the other side of Mos Eisley, I think ".

" I'd like to know " Anakin glared at the slaver.

" Yea, sure.....absolutely " Watto laughed nervously and led Anakin inside his shop.

Athena and Anakin had arrived at Lars farm.

" Stay with the ship R2 " Athena said to the droid, who tried to follow her causing him to whine and head back to the ship as the two jedi walked over to the hutt.

" Oh, hello.....how might I be of service? " a golden droid said, when he noticed the two " I am C.....".

" 3PO " Anakin finished.

" The maker, oh master Ani, I knew you would return " 3PO gasped at Anakin as the two smiled at him, the droid then looked at Athena " And Miss Athena, oh my ".

" It's good to see you, 3PO " Athena smiled.

" Bless my circuits, I'm so pleased to see you both ".

" I've come to see my mother " Anakin told his droid.

3PO dimmed and looked at his maker " Oh uh, I think perhaps, we'd better go indoors ".

The two jedi looked at each other before following behind him.

" Master Owen might I present two most important visitors " 3PO said to a man, a little older than Athena.

" I'm Anakin Skywalker " Anakin said to him as a women approached from behind the man, who looked at Athena before looking back at Anakin.

" Owen Lars " the man nodded and gestured at the blonde besides him " and this is my girlfriend, Beru ". 

" Hello " Beru said as she smiled politely at them.

" I'm Athena " the senator smiled politely at them.

It was silent before Owen spoke.

" I guess I'm your step brother...." Owen said awkwardly as he fiddled with the wrench in his hand " I had a feeling you might show up someday ".

Anakin looked at him before taking slow steps to the right " Is my mother here? ".

" No, she's not " a voice said and they all turned to see an older man in a wheelchair coming towards them and he held a hand towards Anakin " Cliegg Lars...Shmi is my wife, we should go inside, we have a lot to talk about ".

" It was just before dawn, they came out of nowhere " Cliegg explained with a solemn tone " a hunting party of Tusken raiders, your mother had gone out early like she always did to pick mushrooms that grow on the vaporators ".

as he was explaining Beru walked in with drinks and Athena took off her cloak to reveal her two piece dress that showed her toned stomach " from the tracks, she was about halfway home....when they took her " Cliegg sighed " those tuskens walk like men but they're vicious, mindless monsters, thirty of us went out after her....four of us came back, id be out there with them but after i lost my leg....i just couldn't ride anymore until i heal "

the man continued as Athena had a sad look upon her face as she looked at Anakin, who was swallowing a lump in his throat to suppress all the emotions he was feeling.

Anakin then stood up.

" where are you going? " Owen asked.

" To find my mother " Anakin replied in an obvious tone.

" Your mother's dead son......accept it " Cliegg said in a firm tone.

Athena's eyes drifted to the ground as Anakin stormed out of the hut, she took a deep breath before following Anakin outside and saw him looking at the scenery with arms crossed.

She walked over to him as he turned around to face her with his expression softening slightly just for her.

" You're gonna have to stay here " Anakin told her sternly.

" No, I'm coming with you " Athena argued.

Anakin then grabbed Athena by her arms and looked at her and not in a causal was in away only reserved for her, a look that almost made her tremble.

" Please.....I can't loose you too " Anakin said with a desperation in his voice and Athena sighed and nodded and she reached up and wrapped her arms around his broad shoulders, he paused stiffening before wrapping his arms around her waist and held her like she could disappear at any moment.

Q1: should i do just the clone wars movie
or should i include the series as well?
