After promoting Jar Jar to general, because of his part in bringing Gungan's and the people of Naboo together, Boss Nass had joined everyone in the meeting. Captain Panaka had also returned from his meeting with the underground rebellion.

" Captain " Qui-Gon greeted as he walked up to everyone.

" Your, Highnesses " Captain Panaka greeted Padmè and Athena.

" What's the situation? " Athena asked.

" Almost everyone is in camps, a few hundred police and guards have formed an underground residence movement. I've brought back as many of the leaders as I could, The Federation Army's also much larger than we thought. Your Highnesses, this is a battle I do not think we can win " Captain Panaka says.

" The battle is a diversion, the Gungan's must draw the droid army away from the cities, R2 " Padmè says, R2 pulled out a map of the palace.

" We can enter the city, using the secret passages on the waterfall side " Athena explained as a red line appeared on the map, highlighting the passage " Once we get to the main entrance, Captain Panaka will create a diversion. Then we can enter the palace and capture the Viceroy ".

" Without the Viceroy, they will be lost and confused " Padmè finished for Athena " What do you think, Master Jedi? ".

" The Viceroy, will be well guarded " Qui-Gon says thoughtfully.

" The difficulty is getting into the throne room " Captain Panaka informed " Once we're inside, we shouldn't have any problems ".

" There is a possibility with this diversion, many Gungan's will be killed " Qui-Gon says and everyone looks at Boss Nass.

" Wesa ready to do our-san part " Boss Nass says confidently.

" We have a plan, which should immobilise the droid army. We will send out, what pilots we do have, to knock out the droid control ship, that is orbiting the planet " Athena explained the plan her and Padmè discussed earlier.

" A well conceived plan. However, there's a great risk " Qui-Gon says " The weapons on your fighters may not penetrate the shields ".

" There's an even greater danger " Obi-Wan chimed in " If the Viceroy escapes, Your Highnesses, he will return with another droid army ".

" Well, that's why we must not fail to get the Viceroy " Athena says with a smirk.

" Everything, depends on it " Padmè says.

Athena and Anakin were helping some Gungan load up the weapons, when Padmè approached them

" Athena, May I speak with you? " Padmè asked.

" Of course " Athena answered before she walked away with her sister to secluded area with not many people around. Athena turned around and caught a glimpse of Anakin looking at them, she smiles at him reassuringly before turning back to her sister.

" Thena, I want you to stay with Anakin and hide somewhere safe with him, when we begin our mission " Padmè says to Athena.

" But wasn't I supposed to come with you to the throne room? To help you over throw the Viceroy " Athena asked confused.

" The Viceroy needs my signature on the treaty more than yours, because I'm Queen of Naboo. They more so want you in their hands to keep you as leverage or to keep you captive. If anything was to happen to me, then you would be Queen of Naboo and they would then force you to sign the treaty " Padmè explained " I think it's best for you and for Naboo, if you stay hidden during this. Right now, you are still Princess of Naboo and the future of Naboo will be in your hands if anything were to happen to me, plus I would never forgive myself if something happened to you ".

" Nothing is going to me or you, Padmè " Athena says giving her sister a smile " We will end this all, here and now ".

" I have faith it will end here as well, but please do this for me. You're only thirteen and you're still a child, you have the sight of our homes future on your shoulders, it's not fair to you, but you have to do this " Padmè says.

" You're only fourteen and a child too " Athena argued.

" Please stay hidden and be safe with Anakin, until one of the Jedi or I go and get you " Padmè says pleadingly.

Athena sighs before nodding in agreement, Understanding where her sister was coming from. Padmè smiled before pulling Athena into a hug, which she quickly returned.

" I love you, Padmè. Please be safe " Athena says.

" I love you too and I promise I will " Padmè says smiling at her younger sister " Now remember, stay with Anakin and hide somewhere safe, until someone gets you both ".

" I promise " Athena says.

They pulled away as Captain Panaka called out to them.

" Your Highnesses, all preparations are done. Everyone is ready to begin " he informed the sisters.

Athena and Padmè nodded at each other before Padmè spoke " Let's begin ".

Padmè led the group down the side of the palace as Anakin held Athena's hand scared he might lose her, they were between Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon for protection. The Gungans were leading the battle outside the capital and drawing out most of the battle droids.

They all stopped behind a corner of the wall as Padmè peeked over with a blaster in hand, She lifted her other hand and pointed her laser pointer and flashed it a few times. In the court yard, just a yards ahead of them. Captain Panaka and his group were hiding behind a corner and flashed their blue laser pointer back and waved his arm, giving the all clear. Qui-Gon turned around and kneeled down to Anakin's height hand on his shoulder, and looks at both him and Athena.

" Once we get inside, both of you find a safe place to hide and stay there " Qui-Gon says in a serious yet soft tone.

" Sure " Anakin says quickly as Athena nods.

" Stay there " Qui-Gon reminded them as he got to his feet and turned back around, Captain Panka's group jumped out in front of a group of battle droids and started attacking them. There was a loud explosion as they ran towards the entrance of the palace. Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan ignited their lightsabers and deflected the blaster shots that are being fired. Anakin gripped Athena's hand tighter, before pushing her in front of him directly behind Qui-Gon, protecting her from the shots. Padmè opens the door and she and Qui-Gon ushered Athena and Anakin through first before going in. Captain Panaka and his group quickly followed in after them, they were met with more battle droids, who were guarding the captured pilots and ships.

" Ani, Athena, find cover " Qui-Gon says quickly to Anakin and Athena " Quick ".

" Get to your ships " Padmè ordered the pilots as she shot down a few droids.

Never letting go of Athena hand, Anakin led Athena to a corner behind a cargo cart. They both ducked behind it as R2 joined them. Athena watched as the pilots hurried to their ships and took off for battle. Their hiding spot was becoming to dangerous. So Athena led Anakin to another spot.

R2 was about to follow them, when suddenly a claw grabbed him and loaded him onto a ship. R2 let out a yelped as he was being loaded, getting Athena and Anakin's attention.

" R2 " Athena exclaimed as Athena and Anakin rushed to the ship he was loaded on, Anakin made Athena climb up to the ship first before following behind her. It was a duel pilot ship and Athena quickly sat in the farthest seat to the left as Anakin took the seat right next to Athena on her left. R2 whistled and beeped from behind them as Anakin and Athena watched the battle unfold.

Padmè and The Jedi took out droid after droid, but just sitting there watching her sister fight made Athena worry for Padmè. Anakin felt her worry and placed his other hand on top of the one he was already holding.

" It'll be okay Athena, no need to worry, Padmè has two Jedi protecting her " Anakin reassures as they both ducked down to dodge a stray blast.

" Thank you Ani, you always know how to clam me down " Athena says smiling as the battle suddenly grew quiet.

" My guess is the viceroy's in the throne room " Padmè says as Athena and Anakin peeked back up.

" Red group, red group. Everyone, this way " Captain Panka ordered.

" Hey, wait for us " Athena and Anakin say as they stood up.

" Anakin, Athena. Stay where you are, you both will be safe there " Qui-Gon says to them as everyone proceeded with their mission.

" But we- " Anakin started.

" Stay in the cockpit " Qui-Gon ordered.

" You promised, Athena " Padmè says to Athena " Listen and stay there ".

Athena and Anakin huffed as they both sat back down, the door opened and revealed the same mysterious man who attacked Athena, Anakin and Qui-Gon on Tatoonie.

" We'll handle this " Qui-Gon says as him and Obi-Wan stepped forward in front of the group.

" We'll take the long way " Padmè ordered to the rest of the group, quickly moved out of the way of the Jedi and continued on their mission. The man took off his hood and revealed his horns and red and back markings all over his face. R2 let out a beep in the opposite direction as the Jedi and man took off their hooded robes. Anakin and Athena looked over to the entrance and exit of the landing pad and saw a destroyer droid rolling onto the scene. It started to shoot at everyone and everything, Athena saw Padmè just dodge a beam.

" We have to do something " Athena says to Anakin, who nodded in agreement.

" You hear that R2, we gotta figure out, how to help " Anakin says to the droid, who whistled in response.

Athena and Anakin looked at ways they could help from the ship as Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan started fighting the man. Their blue and green lightsabers clashed with the mans red one. Padmè and everyone else were shooting at the droids, but the droids shields were protecting them from any attacks.

R2 beeps wildly at Anakin and Athena.

" We're trying, R2 " Anakin exclaimed " We don't, know where the trigger is ".

" Maybe this one? " Athena says to Anakin as she pushed the silver button, the ship turned on and started moving " Uh, maybe not that one ".

" Maybe, it's this one " Anakin says as he pulled a leaver, the canopy of the fighter ship closed, sealing Athena and Anakin in. The ship started pull away and towards the droids.

" Wait, this might be it " Athena says as she pulled out the handle on her side of the ship and pushed the button. Athena's side of the ship started shooting at the droids " It works, pull that handle and press the button ".

Anakin did as Athena said and his side of the ship started shooting at the droids as well. The two easily took out the droids with a few shots as the ship headed towards the exit and took off.

" It's on automatic pilot " Anakin explained as he tried to take control of the ship. Athena didn't know as much about ships as Anakin did and left the piloting to him. The ship took off to the atmosphere, mostly to where to rest of the pilots went.
