Still thrown off about what just happened between Jungkook and Seo-joon I barely even realize when Darcie slams the door to our dorm shut, turning the lock with a snap of her wrist.

Nibbling on my bottom lip anxiously I watch her pace back and forth in the room, her fair hands running through her dark hair occasionally. She blows out a long breath of air before she finally looks in my direction, her expression hassled as she moves closer to me.

I blink fast, hugging my body tight as I prepare to get yelled at by my best friend.

"What the fuck was that? JK just punched Seo-joon in half! Did you see all that blood? And Jungkook had the audacity to just. . . laugh! He's a fucking lunatic, that's what he is. . ." Darcie rambles, her feet shuffling across the wooden floor as her eyes are wide and her voice risen.

I keep quiet, my racing thoughts pressuring on the inside of my head, almost as if my head could detonate like a minacious bomb. Darcie's words drown out in the room as if I'm underwater, only the faint pinch of her voice noticeable. All I see is plump lips, raven-black hair, a firm bare chest and all I hear is "I'm just as broken as you, angel".

"Chi!" I flinch as Darcie cups my face with her hands, her chocolate brown eyes boring into mine, "Spill. What in the name of God is going on? Where were you last night?"

My throat is dry and I find myself pondering on what exactly to say. Darcie must have been worried as hell, not knowing what happened after our trip to Earth.

"I'm so sorry Darcie. . . I should've came back here as soon as I woke up," My voice is shaky as I fumble over my words, my eyes darting from hers, "Everything went wrong back on Earth and I—"

"I know, Chi. I know about it. No need to apologize for it, I know how hard it must have been for you. I'm the idiot that should be sorry for leaving you alone. I'm so sorry. Please forgive me." Darcie's eyes pry, the silvery tears ready to spill any second.

I pull her close, her warm body crashing against mine as I bring her shaky body towards mine in an engulfing hug. The warmth from her seeps into my bones, a comforting feeling spreading in my entire body. I breathe in her lavender scent — somehow this is what home had started to smell like and I had no complaints.

"Don't worry about it. I'll forgive you the day it's necessary. I always will." I whisper, loosening the grip on her slightly as we pull away.

"Same thing goes for you, bestie," She smile, her eyes crinkling up into a somehow knowing glint, "Now. . . Let's talk about why you smell like Kim Seokjin."

I heave in a breath at the mention of his name, instantly feeling how the blush creeps up my neck. "Wh— what— I don't smell like him. I just. . . slept in his bed."

"You what?!"

I hush at Darcie, putting a hand over her squealing mouth.
"Shut up. Not like that. . . I guess I passed out last night and all I remember is that apparently he helped me."

Rolling her lips together amusingly Darcie cocks up an eyebrow at me. "Are the rumors true?"

I furrow my brows, confusion painted on my features as I glare at her in return.

She takes in a breath as she leans in closer.

"About his dick being thick as fuck?"

I gasp at her words, slapping down on her upper arm earning a whine from her.

"I didn't see his d— that! Okay? But he. . ."
I trail off, suddenly loosing my words as I think back on the time I spent with Jin. Darcie's mouth is slightly open, eyebrows lifted in anticipation as she awaits my answer.

"He what?"

I wince slightly as I point down to my lower body. "He uhm. . . he kind of went down on me."

"WHAT THE FUCK? NO FUCKING WAY!"

Darcie screams at the top of her lungs, throwing herself back in her bed as she lands on her back, her arms up in her hair at the breaking news. I roll my eyes at her current state, watching her hyperventilate as she falls off of the bed.

"A black angel tongue-fucked you, huh? What did you do in your previous life? Save a whole country? More importantly; how was it?" She gapes, her head shaking slightly as her eyes glint in excitement.

My cheeks are burning by now, the redness evident as I spot myself in the vanity mirror across the room. Biting down on my bottom lip I can't seem to suppress the smile that's treating to spread on my lips.

"It was amazing. Really." I breathe out.

Darcie smirks, her dark strands of hair a full on mess at the top of her head as she stand up from the floor, applauding me to which I once again roll my eyes and laugh out loud. I jump at her, both of us tilting down onto her bed, out of breath of excitement.
Once the chuckles has died down Darcie rolls onto her side, her curious eyes gazing at my profile.

"But, how is this going to work? I mean. . . he's a black angel after all. They have special rules. If the Arch Angels finds out—"

"They won't. And I'm not even sure what it really is yet. We haven't talked about it. . . It's not normally approved I guess," I bite on the inside of my cheek as I ponder on the conversation between Jin and Min Yoongi, "Besides, Azrael has been avoiding me for the past two weeks, so it's not like they're watching or anything." I say, fiddling with the bracelet on my wrist.

"Yeah, what's up with that? Azrael can be cold as ice, but this is on another level." Darcie exclaims, her head falling back onto the pillow in deep thought.

"I miss him," I whisper, "He's always been important to me, him being the one to welcome me and help me train and all."

"And you're sure he doesn't know—"

"I'm sure Darcie. After all it was less than 2 hours ago that Jin and I. . ."

My friend giggles at my words.

"Words travel fast in Heaven, girl. Okay, next subject; the freaking fight club scene we just witnessed," her eyes widens, "what the hell happened? Why did Jungkook get so pissed about the whole hell-bitch thing. . ."

I shrug my shoulders.

"Guess it's triggering to have other angels like Seo-joon constantly assume stuff about you that might not be true. Everyone makes out Jungkook to be this tough guy who's not capable of being sincere. But that's not true, he's actually really kind and. . . somehow caring, I guess." I squint my eyes in thought, "I know it sounds weird. . . with Black Angels not being able to feel any emotions and all." I breathe out, my thoughts instantly drifting to Jin once more.

Did he not feel anything either? But I definitely heard him say that he likes me. Right?

"No I get it. I've always been sort of afraid of Jungkook, but I've also known that he's the one taking care of the other black angels, even though he's the youngest. He's the bravest person I've ever met. And that says a lot." Darcie's voice is gentle as she speaks.

"And to be honest I probably would've punched the fuck out of Seo-joon too if I was Jungkook. What a dick. That's really unlike him. . . Things are messed up these days." She continues, shaking her head in disbelief at the situation that's been going on the past days.

I nod my head in agreement before standing up from the bed, stretching out my hand for my best friend to grab onto.

"Enough gossip. Let's head to lunch, yeah?"

Darcie smirks at me once more as she grabs my hand, pulling herself up from the comfy sheets.

"That was some juicy gossip for sure. I can't wait to see you get all flustered when you see the one and only Seokjin at lunch." She chuckles before pinching my cheeks between her thumb and pointer. I grunt at her, pushing away her hands from my face.

"Darcie, don't make this more embarrassing than it already is, please." I work my face into my pleading, puppy-like expression as I look at her through my fluttering eyelashes.

"I can't keep no promises honey. Your loverboy needs my approval too." She dares to wink at me slyly before swaying her hips outside of our room before I slowly trail after her, a small scoff leaving my weary body.

And as I move my way out on the hallway my thoughts start to roam again, the throbbing pain from earlier slowly erupting afresh like a wave the ocean can't control. I rub my temples before mumbling to myself in a whisper.

"Seems like your approval is the least of our concerns. . ."
