Groaning to myself I mingle my way through the hectic square hall that's filled to the brim with white angels heading to their classes. The buzzing nudges at the back of my head, loud chitter-chatter making me want to rip my own head off in exasperation.

I shake my head at myself and my overdramatic ass, knowing it's just my body telling me I probably went a little too hard at the workout I did with Taehyung and Hobi this morning. My muscles are sore, core aching with pain at the punches it took from Taehyung. But then again, my head feels heavy as I picture how distant Hobi was during the entire practice, how he occasionally dozed off, deep in thought. Something was definitely on his mind.

I crack my neck casually, raising my head a little while running a hand through my dark strands of hair while moving my way forward, bag slung over my shoulder. I notice the longing stares I get from some of the angels, their eyes lingering at the pumped veins on my ink-filled arms.

I suppress a small smirk from forming on my chapped lips, just as I spot a familiar angel turning down one of the hallways.

The pretty girl has her head hanging low, ice-blond hair pushed back and tied with a baby-blue tie into a low, loose bun. I trot faster, wincing a little at the pain that goes through my body as I speed up.

Damn you, Taehyung.

"Yo warrior Chi, what's up!" I say just as I reach her side, my arm resting on her shoulder. She jumps a little at my presence, her eyes widening at my touch. I furrow my brows slightly, noticing how her stare flickers as she playfully smack away my arm.

"Jungkook, hi. Nothing much, I was just heading back to my dorm. . ." She rubs her face tiredly with her hand, her cheeks having a slight pink tint to them, almost like she just took a nap. She looks. . . flushed.

"Oh yeah? Where have you been? Don't you have classes?"
My voice is quite excited considering the fact that all my body wants to do is head back to my bed and sleep off the pain. Must be because Chi-Sun's actually an interesting girl who's been kind and trying to get to know me — not swooning over my looks all the time.

I cock up an eyebrow at her weird reaction to all my questions, her red head snapping to my face so fast, almost as if she's checking if I. . . know something?

"I— uhm. . . I've just been hanging out with someone. A— a friend."

"Aha, a 'friend'" I mumble, my eyes not leaving her seemingly nervous body, "Oh. . . I heard about your trip to Earth by the way. Sucks, huh?"

The sudden silence from the white angel makes me regret my choice of words instantly, the pained look on her face making me puzzled. How am I so fucking bad at reading other people's feelings?

"Fuck, Chi — I didn't mean to sound so ignorant. I'm sorry."

Just as I'm about to reach out for her lower arm to give it a reassuring squeeze, we both stop in our tracks at the sudden obstacle right in front of us.

"What's going on here? Is he annoying you, Chi-Sun?"

I scoff a little at the familiar voice, my gaze wandering to Park Seo-joon who's looking at Chi-Sun with a pathetic worried look on his pretty face.

I roll my lips together, my eyes setting on the slightly taller male in front of me.

"Does it look like I'm annoying her, dude?"

Shrugging his shoulders with a smug glint in his eye he watches me intensely.

"I'm fine, Seo-joon. . ." Chi speaks up, eyes rolling slightly as she starts to move her way past him, but he never spares her a glance as he continues to glare at me.

What a fucking jerk.

"Well all you black angels do is mess around with white angels — so better be safe than sorry, I guess."

I clench my fists, feeling how my knuckles turn white at the anger that's bottling up inside of me as his smooth, snake-like voice spills out on the somewhat empty hallway.

I glance at Chi-Sun who's standing behind Seojoon who has a worried look on her face, her eyes staring at my fists and then at my face, a pleading look on her face; don't do it.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I grit out through my teeth, trying to keep my voice down while taking a step closer to the taller male. I try to focus on my breathing, knowing that if I don't I'm going to snap.

Seojoon does the same thing as he takes a step forward, our heads dangerously close by now, the insane amount of testosterone oozing from the both of us.

"It means exactly what you think it does, JK. All you do is use people to your own advantage. You don't care about anything or anyone. So just stay away from Chi-Sun,"

The burning rage now hisses through my body like deathly poison, screeching a demanded release in form of violence. Like a volcano erupting, the fury sweeps off of me like ferocious waves.

Oh, how I want to feel his nosebone crack under my knuckle.

And all it take is him smirking a little too much as he finishes his sentence.

"Got it?"

And then it comes, the sound I've been craving ever since this fucking tiring conversation started. The loud smack of my knuckles hitting Seojoon right in the face makes my adrenaline pump through my veins, seeing how I hit his nose just right. The blood leaking down his face as he stumbles to his feet, the burning rage inside of his orbs evident of how he's feeling about me.

"Jungkook!"

I hear Chi scream my name but all I see is Seojoon, how the deep red liquid is smeared across his oh-so-pretty features. I grin as I watch him move closer to me, knowing that the tutor-angel can't fight for shit.

Dodging his hit easily I put my fist to his stomach with such a defined blow that I knock out all the air in him, making him fall to the ground.

"Fucking wuss. . ." I chuckle as he's on the ground, the stone floor looking like a painting of red — red, deep red, spotted red.

"What the fuck is going on here?!"

I turn my head at the shrilling voice — Darcie coming into my view. Her eyebrows raised, dark orbs narrowed and on fire, staring right at me.

Now that's something to be afraid of.

I look to my feet once more, seeing how Seo-joon is slowly getting to his feet again, but all I can focus on is Darcie and how she runs to Chi, grabbing her hand, making her trail after her.

"Let's go Chi — we've got better things to do than this." The dark-haired angel hiss through her teeth, her eyes boring into my skull followed by my bloody knuckles — judging my actions.

I slyly send her a wink as they walk away, but I can't help but notice how impassively Chi follows along, her face bare of any emotions. She looks. . . different.

What's up with her?

Grunts and puffs makes me turn around, the older white angel falling into my view once more. He's standing in front of me, chest close to mine as he lifts his pointer and pushes it into my shoulder aggressively.

"You better watch your back hell-bitch." His voice is slurred and I wince my eyes slightly at the small pebbles of blood-filled spat that lands on my face as he speaks.

Feeling my jaw root at the nickname he gives me I smirk at him, eyes filled with hatred as I watch the blood trickle down his chin.

"Trust me, I've learned to watch my back. Kind of necessary up here, don't you think?" I nod my head at him, before tilting my head and glance at the somewhat perfect, crystal-white wings that's sitting securely on his own back before walking away,

"Wings looking good, Parks. You should really watch out for those."
