The duo eventually made it towards their destination of the kitchen despite the many times Zoro lead them to wrong way, leading to (Y/N) chasing back after him, and along the way found Luffy somehow inside of a cupboard for some reason.

Now they pushed the kitchen doors open to see Usopp in there as well, using his sling shot to practice hits on the pans hanging up, and picked up seeds from the container next to him on the table.

"Couldn't sleep either, huh?" Luffy called out to the male down near the sinks and table, as he turned around hearing the incoming footsteps.

Usopp chuckles with a grin, "Not after that dinner." He says watching the siblings climb down the hard way, while Zoro walked around the actual path to get down to where he was.

"I hope I didn't get you in trouble with Kaya." (Y/N) sheepishly rubbed the back of her head under the straw hat, and giggled a bit nervously at him, "Sometimes me and Lu get carried away."

"Oh, no. It was worth it." Usopp reassured sending a small smirk her way, as he fiddled with his sling shot in his fingers, "Seeing that look on Klahadore's face." He cackles a humours laugh, causing her beam happily at making him do so, "I thought his head was gonna explode."

Up near the top section of the massive kitchen Zoro moved his gaze's from on her figure seeing she was safe, and turned to to many long cupboards. He made a blank face not finding any drinks, and shut the door shut grumbling under his breath.

"All that stuff true that you said? About the clown and the axe-hand guy?" Usopp hesitantly asked now curious peering at the siblings, and placed down his sling shot beside his elbow.

Luffy hummed in acknowledgement eating some of the treats on the table, "Every word." He confirmed taking a seat beside his sister in a chair grinning, "I mean, they're not as exciting as your adventures."

His excited expression dropped a little hearing Luffy's claim, pursuing his lips knowing that wasn't true as he glance downwards, "Yeah." He mumbled moving around some of the seeds on the wood, "And the One Piece, are you two really going after that?"

"Yup we are." (Y/N) chirped happily with her cheek rested into her palm, and tilted her head to the side smiling determined at him that made her eyes crinkle, "We're gonna be the ones to find it too."

Zoro sat down on the chair against the pillar near the top stairs of the upper kitchen now listening, as Usopp glanced from him to the pair in front of him.

"Man! I wish I could do that." He gasped in excitement, earing bright smiles from them, "But...I can't leave." He trails off with a far away look, nodding his head to himself, "Kaya needs me."

"Is she your girlfriend or something?" The swordsman's grunted out his question, dark eyes flickering subconsciously to his captain as he said that, and adjusted himself in the chair to lean forward more.

"What?" Usopp spluttered out embarrassed snapping his head back to him, before shaking his head rapidly looking back towards the door somewhat fondly now.

"She's more like... my best friend. Her parents died a few years ago, and she took it pretty hard, and then she got sick on top of that." He scratched behind his ear furrowing his brows, "I just want to be there for her, you know?"

(Y/N) reached out to place her hand on top of his, and squeezed it gently with a knowing smile, which caught Zoro's full attention watching the pair interact, "That's understandable Usopp, you wanna be there for someone you love and care about."

Usopp sent a grateful smile back to her for the kind words, having a feeling he was going to develop a strong bong with the pirate girl, "She's gorgeous, and she's super smart." He began to rant about Kaya, giving off a dreamy look in his eyes, "She has the best laugh. But, I mean, you don't think she, like, like like's me, do you?"

Zoro was minding his own business still searching around the kitchen's drawers, and cupboards for drinks, as he felt the stare of Usopp now on him. He paused mid step passing the trio to turn around to them, moving his gaze to an amused smirking (Y/N) watching him, before grumbling out to Usopp, "You're asking the wrong guy."

"Okay But if you were Kaya, would you like me?"

(Y/N) raised her hand up above her and Luffy's head giggling, as she wiggled her fingers around, "We already like you! And I'm sure Kaya does as well!" She cheers sweetly, which made Usopp grow flustered and Zoro to cross his arms over his chest, jaw clenched tightly.

"T-thanks, but that's not what I.." Stumbling out his explanation to her confidence boost, he paused mid way shaking his head, "Never mind." He murmured using his sling shot to aim a seed at another pan hanging up, which made a clanging sound when it dropped into another cooking pat on the floor.

The siblings' eyes go wide in awe watching this happen, quickly turning to each other with matching grins knowing what they were both currently thinking, "Wow." Luffy shook his half eaten piece of chicken at Usopp, complimenting, "You're a great shot!"

"Got it from my dad. He's a notorious pirate." He tells them proudly, a bittersweet smile across his face at the mention of his father, "I don't really remember him that well, 'cause he left for a life at sea when I was just a baby, but he'll be back one day." He claims using his sling shot again, and hits the pan directly in the middle, "Yasopp the Great!"

(Y/N)'s jaw slowly dropped in shock hearing the name of the pirate, sharing a brief glance with Luffy who expressed the same reaction, "Yasopp? He's your dad?" She gaped out standing up from the chair, hands being placed up to hide her wide grin from him.

"Yeah. Why? You heard of him?"

"Heard of him? Me and Lu know him!" She squeals out excitedly throwing her arms out to wrap around her him, and shook him from side to side, "He's a part of Shanks' crew! He was, still is one of my favourite pirates!"

"Wait- You know my dad?" Usopp gasped with widened eyes at the girl clinging onto his arm, and then back to a joyful Luffy waving around his chicken stick in the air.

She nodded her head up to him giggling showing a closed eye grin, "Yeah, we do! He's the best." She confirmed letting go of him to twirl around in her spot, and held up a finger to her mouth, "Always made time for some pirate wisdom."

"So you guys, like," He drawled out his words not knowing how to word it, before glancing between the pair with amazement, "hung out?"

Luffy tapped the side of his cheek with the new piece of chicken he grabbed, and sent him a toothy smile in agreement, "Yeah."

"That's..." Usopp scratched the top of his head exposed by the orange bandanna, finding it amazing that he was meeting two people who got to witness being around his father, and breathed out, "cool."

"If you're gonna talk about feelings, I'm really gonna need a drink." Zoro comments in his deep voice trailing past them, and stopped behind his captain to hit the hilt of his white sword against the back of her head, earing a confused noise from her as she turned to him now.

"Uh, there's a wine cellar in the basement." Usopp claims pointing a finger in the direction with his sling shot, and made a mental note to ask the siblings more about his pirate father later.

Zoro's face shifted into a deadpanning scowling one, "Why didn't you tell me that before?" He questioned stoically, causing (Y/N) to stifle a snicker behind her hand, and share a look with Luffy and Usopp both just as shocked and speechless.

Usopp shrugged his shoulders in response going to walk away from the group, and towards where the cellar was out of the room, as Zoro's fingers just barely brush against hers, "You coming?" He rasped gently looking down at her, and Luffy before following after Usopp.

She looked down to where he touched, trying to hide her embarrassment at how easily she was affected by it and went to answer back, but Luffy grabbed her wrist before she could, "Nope! Now come look at this."

He eagerly pulled her along with him towards the kitchens oven area by the wrist, making her yelp startled not excepting that as she tripped slightly, and come up beside him to see what her older brother found.

The top of the container was pulled up from the pot inside an oven slot, seeing the same blue foamy soup Kaya was given at dinner that was now just sitting there. A weird feeling bubbled up in her stomach at that, and furrowed her eyebrows in confusion not knowing why that was the case over plain soup.

"Got everything I need right here." Luffy claimed grinning just as the other two left the room, and he picked up the pot before his sister could say anything, and started to drink it all down without a second thought.

She smacked her forehead a bit watching her brother doing this, and deadpanned at his hunger for food that wasn't as bad as her. Stifling a yawn, she rubs her eyes with her knuckles, and glanced back to the kitchen table spotting a perfect but uncomfortable place to rest.

"(Y/N), Luffy." Nami drawls out seeing the siblings sprawled out onto the kitchen table, the girl now rushing into the room to hope down the stairs, and didn't see nor hear them respond back to her, "Guys?"

She stands next to them with her hands on the table, (Y/N)'s head being rested on Luffy's arm sound asleep for whatever reason, as her leg dangle off to the side very much so looking uncomfortable but was still sleeping.

Nami glanced around the room to find anything that would indicate why this was, and spotted the pot that was once filled with the special soup made of Kaya empty, with some stick to the sides of it.

Her blue eyes widen in fear from them, hearing his stomach gurling and how the other girl had some blue paste on her cheek. This made Nami wipe it away with her thumb, and forced open Luffy's eyes next, showing his pupils were enlarged, and almost rolled back.

Nami then move to the other sibling, who seemed to be more knocked out than the other, "(Y/N)?" She whispered yelled patting the side of her cheek, gaining an annoyed tried groan in return, "Guys, wake up!"

Clanging now echoes around the kitchen making Nami perk up panicked, and knew the enemies of the house were on their way, "Oh, come on." She strains out trying to pull on both the duo's arms, and wanted to grab them to take them to safety.

"Yes. Do you understand?" The faint yelling voice of Klahadore, aka Kuro was heard somewhere down the hall, causing Nami to quickly find a place to hide despite wanting to save the siblings.

She gets into a pan cabinet and it made some of the pans rattle, as her pulse become faster at that in fear. Softly grabbing the edges of the metal, it stops making the noise, and her blue eyes go to peek through the cabinets little gaps.

Footsteps approach on where she currently was that was followed by a familiar voice, "I understand, sir. I just left Miss Kaya in her room." Sham explained to the head butler, trailing along behind him through the kitchen.

"What are they doing here?" Kuro questioned in snappy tone at the others, pointing to the siblings on the center table, and clicked his tongue irated, "I specifically told you to keep the girl locked in her room!"

Sham and Buchi lowered their heads a bit ashamed knowing they didn't follow orders, and went down to where the siblings were on the table. Sham checks the side of (Y/N)'s neck for a pulse with two fingers, giving a nod to Kuro when she did, as Buchi did the same with Luffy trying to wake him up.

"What's wrong with him?" Kuro asked once more in a calm tone, as his eyes behind his glasses long on the (H/C) haired girl, and a dangerous smirk appeared, "I assume she's just sleeping? Perfect."

"That, and she might of had some of the soup." Buchi answered trailing his gaze over her figure, spotting how some of her shirt was open to reveal the top of her chest, and focused his attention on that.

He grin wickedly show off his fangs, earning a look from Sham who slapped his hand away when he lifted one, hissing, "Have some decency, idiot!"

"Little guy couldn't get enough of my latest recipe." He huffed out holding his sore hand now, and glared a bit at an amused Sham, "I was chasing that perfect balance between bitter and savory." He tapped Luffy's cheek that was now resting on his sisters forehead, "Just wish I could've asked him how it tasted."

"It tasted like poison, idiot." Sham insulted the male, but was stating the truth, and had arms folded over her chest glaring right back at him.

"Not while I'm the cook."

"You're not a cook. I'm not a maid. We're pirates!" She exclaimed pointing an aggressive finger at him, and then back to her in emphasise to her words.

Nami's eyes narrowed down on them from inside the cabinet still, gripping the little holes of it as she was inching to do something seeing how the pervert was staring at (Y/N)'s chest, but knew she couldn't reveal herself for the sake of all three of them.

"Sell yourself short, Sham, but leave my cooking out of-"

"Enough!" Kuro shouted loudly over the banter causing them to flinch, and stop immediately bowing their heads in response, "I can't hear myself think over your inbred nonsense! Now, how much of the soup did he eat?"

"Uh..." Buchi trailed off turning his head to where the pot was, and found it empty once more causing him to grimace nervously, "All of it." He sputtered out, sharing a look with Sham who narrowed her gaze.

"How fortuitous." Kuro hummed unbothered by the newws, and used his palm to adjust his glasses more, "Go ahead and toss him in the well with the green-haired oaf." He ordered them, before nodding his head at (Y/N)'s softly snoring figure, "And take her up to my room. Make sure this time she doesn't escape."

They gulped at his dark change of tone knowing his threat was serious, "Aye, aye, captain." Buchi also nodded in agreement, as the two went around to the siblings heads while Kuro watched in triumph.

"And don't you dare truck in mud all over my floors again." Sham seethed out to her friend, and slid her arms under (Y/N)'s back to grab onto her back, being careful not to knock her off the table.

"Says the maid." Buchi fired back just as rudely, gaining an offended gasp from the girl knowing she indeed walked into that one.

The doorbell suddenly rings with the sound echoing around the massive mansion, as all the evil pirates in the room stand up straight hearing the noise this late, and Sham goes to question, "Who'd ring the bell at this hour?"

"Just stay put. Understood?" Kuro demanded in a low voice, eyebrows raised at them in warning as he was the nearest the door to leave the kitchen now, "Let's not allow the night to get the better of us."

His underlings smirk smugly hearing his words, watching him walk out of the room now to go deal with the Marines at the front door, which happened to be Koby and Helmeppo with Usopp.

"Buchi, the Marines are here. They've come to collect the Straw Pirate duo. Bring them to the front of the house at once." Kuro stated over the snail communicator suddenly, "We can let go of the fox for now, she'll come back knowing her prince charming is in danger."

Buchi shared a confused look with Sham who met his stare blanky, hands folded together on her lap, "Marines. What are we gonna do?"

"Nothing."

"But what if the Straw Hats talk?"

Sham scoffed grabbing a wash cloth from the bench behind them, "He drank enough of that soup to kill a sea beast. And she's not waking up anytime soon." She remarked wiping the soup from around Luffy's mouth, and her cheek, "Stick to the captain's plan."

She motioned to Luffy now making Buchi go around to lift him up, and Sham to pull up (Y/N) off the table, their arms going around the selected holder shoulders, "Come on, sweetheart." Buchi sarcastically commented, as they lead the siblings out of the kitchen.

.......

The massive wooden doors to outside of the front porch of the mansion was opened by Kuro, catching the attention of Koby and Usopp who both turned to see him standing there again, presenting what the Marines were here for in the first place.

(Y/N)'s figure was getting carried bridal style by Shams now, arms, legs, and head all dangling limply in the air, as the evil walked outside of the door. Luffy's arm was slanged weakly around Buchi's shoulders, not even knowing what was happening, as he was still drunk off the poison.

Usopp straight away went to reach out for the girl seeing her state worriedly, but was met with Sham's scowl of a warning, making him back up in fear. He tried to do the same thing with Luffy when the male past, but was met with the same fate, and gulped watching his friends be taking away by the Marines now

"What's wrong with them?" Koby asked Kuro suspiciously, eyebrows furrowed concerned glancing at his friends behind him after, and touched the familiar pink bracelet around his wrist out of instinct.

"Insatiable appetite, I suppose." Kuro replied in his normal calm tone, gloved hands folded together as his two crew come back inside of the house behind him, "Too much food, too much liquor. But for a pirate, nothing is ever enough. Good thing we have Marines like yourselves to keep the East Blue safe Now, if that is all, I really must return to my duties."

He went to push the doors closed but Kody was quicker, and stopped them from doing so with his palms pressing against the wood, "Wait. I just have a few more questions."

"Of course." Kuro agrees through his gritted teeth, trying not to show off his growing impatience, as a sudden loud slamming sound was heard through the hallways of the mansion.

"What was that?" Koby asked warily at the weird nose, and glanced over the tallers males shoulder to get a peek down the candle lit hall in front.

"Old houses." The evil pirate captain said turning back around to face him sharply, and cocked his head to the side smartly, "You know, they're just like us. The older they get, the more they creak."

"You sure?" Koby pressed forward unsurely, stepping a foot closer to the fresh hold of the wooden door, "It sounded like-"

"I shall stick to my expertise and leave you to yours." He interrupted over the Marines words, voice raised the slightest as he had a fake smile across his lips, and pointed to the siblings in the other Marines arms, "You do have your fugitives in hand after all."

This made Usopp snap out of his scared state, and went to defend his new friends on their behalf, "He's lying!" he exclaimed angrily, furrowed brows shifting into a glare o Kuro, "Everything he says-!"

"That's enough out of you." Helmeppo shouted over his words giving him a scolding look, that had Kuro smirking to himself smugly, and Usopp to back up towards the bushes with wide eyes.

He then goes to spring through the bushes away from the mansion, yelling out in frantic pleas as he ran away, "Help! Please! Pirates! Somebody, help!" He kept that up until they could not longer hear his voice.

Kuro shrugged his shoulders a little bit, and adjusted his glasses that slipped onto the bridge of his nose, "Can't reason with madness." He whispered to Koby, sending him an irated smile, "Now, I really must return my duties."

Just as he went to close the wooden doors shut in his face, Koby tried to stutter out the saying he was supposed to do each time, "On behalf of the Marines, we thank-" He didn't get to finish, as the sound of the doors slamming shut ended it.

.......

Two different Marines were now dragging the Monkey D. siblings along the dirty pathway the Marines were walking on, and would osscially hear a few muttered words from the asleep duo, as their shoes pick up the dirt all under them.

"I don't know. Something feels really off about this." Koby goes to break the silence occurring, him and Helmeppo both walking in front to lead down the barely lit up pathway in the night.

"You know, you're the only person I know who'd actually feel bad about capturing the fugitive you're supposed to capture." The blonde remarked lifting a finger up into the air, and pointed it at his friend in emphasise.

Koby frowned not knowing what to say as he glanced down to the rumble, and fiddled with the pink bracelet he kept all this time on his left wrist, "I know that Usopp guy might be full of it, but that butler gives me the creeps."

"Sure, take the side of the pirates." Helmeppo's tone full of attitude caused Koby to slow his walking down, and shot him a look, "I'm sure Garp would love that too."

He rolled his eyes releasing a disbelief nose, and went to trail behind the taller male, "It's not my fault I'm doing a good job, and the Vice-Admiral sees it."

Helmeppo scoffed through his teeth, as he ran his tongue along the front of them annoyed, "The only reason you're here is 'cause you're friends with those Straw Hat siblings." He takes a step forward to Koby sneering, "Garp doesn't believe in you. He's using you."

"No, he's not." Koby corrected firmly giving his so called friend a warning stare, and pushed down the bracelet on his wrist more, "You're just jealous."

Helmeppo cocked his head to the side, a sly smirk making its way across his mouth, "Doesn't make me wrong."

Koby was going to have a snap back at him for saying that, but the sound of a groggily voice spoke over the male, "Can you guys shh? I'm tryna sleep-" (Y/N) was now half awake waving her fingers around sleepily, and rested her head on the Marine's shoulder holding her chuckling slurring, "W-why am I here? Luuu?"

"What was that, Straw Hat?" Helmeppo tilted his chin up hearing her giggling voice now, marching over to the siblings now both waking up, and glanced between them smugly, "You got something to say?"

Suddenly Luffy's mouth opened up to projectile vomit all over Helmeppo's white uniform, creating a blue mess everywhere. The few watching cringe at the scene, and heard Helmeppo gasping in horror looking at the blue liquid on his clothing.

Luffy was hunched over on the side of the path now, coughing and heaving up the rest of the blue soup he eat before, as his sister was rubbing his back now wide awake at her brother being sick like this. Koby was beside his other side, and was just as concerned.

Once the last of it was out of his stytem his body fell sideways into (Y/N)'s lap worn out, making her yelp catching him and fell onto the ground to hold him in her hold. Keeping one hand on his back, the other went under his head to make him more comfortable, and brushed some of his curly locks back off his sweaty forehead.

"You idiot, this is why you shouldn't eat everything you see." She murmured to him frowning softly, as a part of her felt guilty for not listening to the gut feeling she had in the kitchen, and because of that it caused Luffy to be poisoned.

He just groans in answer through fluttering eyelids, and squeezed her arm around his back to reassure her without any words, already sensing how she was feeling about his current sisutation.

Sighing heavily she glanced up a Koby through her hat brims, and smiled a bit in greeting again, "I hate how we have to see again under these circumstances, but me and Luffy gotta go back."

She swallows the lump in her throat, as her thoughts drift to Zoro, and the other few still trapped inside of the murder house, "The butler. He's gonna kill Kaya, and then he's gonna go after our crew."

"I'm under direct orders to bring you in." Koby whispered back in a dreadful tone, eyes flickering between her (E/C) ones as he knelt on one knee beside them.

She lifted up her hand from around her brothers back feeling him getting up now, and gently placed it onto Koby's shoulder, squeezing gentle, "I understand that, but you said you wanted to help innocent people." Her accent was thicker than usual, and gave him a pleading look, "Kaya's innocent."

"You know what? Screw this." Helmeppo suddenly pulls out his pistol from his holder hanging on his belt, instantly making Luffy place his body in front of his sisters, and glare at him warningly to try anything.

"Helmeppo, don't!" Koby exclaimed quickly jumping up from his spot, and rushed up in front of them between the weapon, eyes wide looking at his friend.

"Father always said, 'Dead pirate weighs the same as a live one'." He quoted not taking his gaze off the siblings on the ground, and didn't lift his finger from the gun.

"Garp gave us strict orders."

"He gave you strict orders." Helmeppo sneered his correction sparing one glance at Koby, before back down at the duo as he gestured with his aimed gun, "Start walking, pirates or die."

Neither of them moved from their position with Luffy's glare becoming stronger, and (Y/N)'s grip on his shirt to become tighter in fear. However grunting in the distance behind them all is heard, making the four turn to see the one and only Zoro standing there, having punched the few Marines in his way.

"Hey, haircut." He slowly voiced his greeting stoically, walking up to stand beside the nervous Marine as Zoro's eyes were on (Y/N) the entire time since he arrived.

His fist lands into Helmeppo's cheek, seeing how fearful she was because of him, and the punch makes the blonde knock out onto the rough ground with the other Marines.

Her face brightened up into a joyful one at his arrival now, getting helped up by Luffy as she rushed up towards him, and almost tripped over a rock, but was saved by placing her palms against Zoro's muscular chest, and ran into him instead.

"Zoe! How'd you know where to find us?" She beams up at him through a closed eye grin, not even noticing their position as he had a loose hand on her waist to keep her steady.

"I didn't." He rasped out glancing down at her with his dark gaze, before moving her by the waist to stand beside him with Luffy, "I thought I was headed to the house."

She made a soft noise of acknowledgement, nodding her head at him with another bright smile before they went to turn around, and start to run down the pathway back towards the mansion.

"Hold it right there!" Koby suddenly yelled out taking a few steps forward, and his voice made the trio all pause in their spots, "By order of the Marines, I'm placing you under arrest."

(Y/N) and Luffy shared a knowing look between each other, both thinking the same thing as the other did which was normal for them, "Koby, I know you've got a job to do..." They start off together in sync, as a determined and serious expressions morph over their faces, "but we're gonna go back and help our friends. So don't try to stop us."

With a singular nod from Koby to provide his answer, she gave one last look over her shoulder at their friend before the trio all went to run off towards the mansion, without any interference this time from anyone.

"Ready? Three, two, one-" The trio had arrived at where the back entrance of the Kaya's mansion was, which the door was heavily barricaded by a tin metal second door. (Y/N) and Zoro had their hands underneath the tin, as she counts down from them to both start lifting it up together, for once thankful of her superhuman strength.

Her teeth grit at how heavy the actual slider door was, thankful that Zoro was also here to help with the lifting, and tried her hardest not to glance at his muscles flexing right next to her. She was aware of how her own were doing the same thing, and it had him eyeing them off briefly.

Together the two lift up the rolling door forcefully as Luffy grabs a statue beside the entrance, and grunts slid it underneath the metal. Once it was placed there, the duo let go of the door to for it to rest on the statue, and (Y/N) goes to airbend at the door knocking it open.

Luffy slides under the door first inside of the eerily quiet house, holding out a hand for his sister to take as she does so, and gets helped up by him with Zoro making sure she didn't hit her head.

He came next to stand beside her in a room full of more bigger statutes, with Luffy shutting the wooden doors behind them to leave no edvidne they had broken inside of the mansion.

"Let's split up. And be careful." She talks to Zoro in a lower tone, eyes flickering over to his taller figure worriedly, and gave him biscpe a gentle squeeze before walking off after Luffy going up the stairs.

The swordsmans arm flexed a bit at her sudden touch, following her figure until she was out of sight, and gripped his three swords hilts to go off into another direction, with a new sense of dedication at her words.
