Chapter Eleven
You woke up to the sound of the ship rattling, which meant you had landed. You sighed and stood up, your muscles protesting the sudden movement after being bound for so long. You were practically at the landing site now.
Soon, Todo came over to you and handed you a small ration. It wouldn't do much to alleviate the hunger that was starting to gnaw at your stomach, but it would have to do for now. You ate it quickly, your body desperate for sustenance.
"This way," Todo shouted, its voice echoing in the small space. The droid floated over to the ladder and out of the cockpit of the ship, where the catwalks ran towards a starry sky. It was obviously an old Kaminoan device of some kind, but you couldn't quite place it.
The air was thick with an unfamiliar scent, and you couldn't recognize the place. Then, Bane grabbed your shoulder and pushed you forward with his ostis, making you stumble. You sniffed the air, and then you tasted the bitter taste of blood.
"Looks like whoever was supposed to pick me up is dead," you moaned, your voice heavy with dread. The taste of blood was strong, and it was clear that something had gone horribly wrong. You braced yourself for what was to come, your senses on high alert. The situation had just become even more dangerous, and you would need all your wits about you to survive.
A stray blaster shot hits Todo, and your talons clench in response. Before you can react, Bane pushes you behind a crate and shoots back towards the attacker. You stare over the box, your sharp horns making you lunge and hiss.
And then you let loose. The dark energy glows around you, as if it were a dragon's head roaring up, and you rise up, your claws and wings spanning a thousand-weight span. You break off the chains that bound you, and the bounty hunter who shot at you turns and stares in shock as you charge at them.
But then you freeze when you see the familiar black hair and the slight "Fennec" body expression. You break off your attack, and she lowers her head, her blaster still pointed at the ground.
"You best come with me, ma'am. You don't know what the Kaminoans want with you, but I can help you get free," she says, her voice steady and confident.
You snort at her, your eyes narrowing. "I have heard so many lies about safety in my life that it has always struck me that humans are not safe," you growl, your voice low and dangerous.
Then, you open your mouth, and all hell breaks loose. The energy that had been building up inside you is unleashed, and the ground shakes beneath you. The attackers are thrown back, and the air is filled with the sound of your roar. The battle has begun, and you are ready to fight for your freedom.

"Amethyst, come in," said Hunter, but a hissing sound was all that greeted them. Omega sighed and buried her face in Wrecker's shoulder, and the big gentle giant patted her head. "We will find her," he said, his voice full of determination.
Then, he looked to Hunter, who nodded. "There's nearly impossible to find that ship though," said Tech, but he twisted his glasses a bit. "But I'll check a chain code on it." Echo sighed and leaned back, twisting his computer.
Hunter looked at him, his brow furrowed. "What is it?" he asked, and Echo hummed. "Nothing, just never thought I would see a Jedi being captured by a bounty hunter and one that has dragon in her blood." He shook his head, his expression thoughtful.
The team was silent for a moment, taking in the gravity of the situation. They knew they had to find Amethyst, and fast. They couldn't let her fall into the hands of the Kaminoans or whoever else was after her. They would do whatever it took to bring her back safely.
Suddenly, though, on one of the islands, they saw a blast of light, and they all sat up. Hunter twitched, "It's her," he said, and Tech steered the ship towards the island. As they came closer, they could see the whole place was smoking with hot white flames, and smoke as thick as pigeon feathers went up.
And then a flash of purple and dark ocean glittering eyes stared up at them. Heavy wingbeats filled the air, thunder crackling over the scales of Amethyst. Omega gasped, "It's her!"
The dragon Jedi was a sight to behold, her wings spreading wide as she took to the air. The flames around her seemed to bow to her will, and the smoke parted as she soared higher. She was a force of nature, a creature of power and grace.
Hunter's eyes narrowed, and he gripped his weapon tighter. "We need to get her out of there," he said, his voice low and determined. The team nodded in agreement, ready to do whatever it took to bring their friend back safely.
In the distance, the Havoc Marauder's heavy wings thrashed against the air, causing the vessel to lurch and stumble. Hunter, perched precariously at the edge, screamed in alarm, "Hold on tight!" and grabbed onto a nearby handrail. Murder followed suit, their movements a bit slower, and they finally disembarked onto the island, which, to their surprise, was not the one they'd expected, but rather another, one whose skies bled with smoke and fire.
Echo, feeling the weight of uncertainty, bellowed, "Tech, why aren't we flying?"
The group staggered off the Havoc Marauder, and a flash of magic erupted. A familiar figure appeared through the doors, and Omega couldn't contain their excitement as they barreled towards Amethyst, who smiled, "You're back!" She hugged Amethyst, who giggled, feeling the warmth of her friends' embrace. Amethyst whispered into her ear, "This time, we'll stay." She brushed a tender kiss against her temple, her eyes filling with hope.
As she turned to the others, Amethyst couldn't help but giggle as her companions stared at her. They soon joined in, wrapping their arms around her in a sea of warmth and happiness. There, Amethyst knew she was home, and with her beloved companions, she'd finally found the permanence she'd been longing for.
