NICK, MATT AND CHRIS ALL LOOKED AROUND THE GIRLS APARTMENT IN COMPLETE WONDER AND SHOCK. this was the first time that the other brothers had stepped foot inside her home.

chris smiled as he watched his brothers tour the house, while he sat comfortably at the table that he had done more than just eat at. "you seem comfy" clover smiled, running a hand through his hair to comb it out of his eyes "i am comfy, thank you very much" he replied

"holy-!" clover turned her head at the sound of nick being scared, and neytiri walking out of the bedroom slowly to greet chris "i forgot how scary tiri is sometimes, she's literally a beast" nick laughed out

the large dog rested her head on chris' knee, and looked up at him, as if she was pleading for him to pet her. she also had grown comfortable around him.

"where is this place?" matt asked, pointing at the picture of a little girl on a beach that sat in a picture frame "oh, that's me back home in texas" she explained "so you're a cowgirl?" nick teased

clover laughed and shook her head "its just a fun fact i guess, its not me anymore" she added on "well, clover your place is nice as fuck" matt nodded. a knock at the door came soon after

clover peeped through the hole, seeing who it was. there was always a slight possibility to her that one day rowen would show up at her door waiting to fight her or beg for forgiveness like all the other fights they have had

however, it was not rowen. instead she saw the red hair of her best friend, and the brown hair of her other friend. aspen and calista, nate short behind her. he once again was on one of his trips

the reason she currently had so many people over was that it was once again movie night. this time at her place with only a small group of people that she was with 24/7

"is andrew coming, nick?" she asked as she opened the door, smiling into the embrace that was the two girls. "hey nate" she dapped him up "what's up" he welcomed with a smile before walking over to the three brothers

"also, hes not, no." nick sighed out "he's in florida for something with his family." he explained "he literally left last night and is coming back in three days though, so its not that bad" he shrugged

the group all sat on the couches, clover let them pick the movie while she ran around trying to turn off all the big lights and on all the little lights to set the mood

she was walking out of her bedroom when she was suddenly pulled into the hallway bathroom by familiar hands and a stupid smirk.

"chris" she rolled her eyes "your brothers, nate, calista, and aspen are literally outside-" he cut her off, pressing his lips to hers and his hands traveling up and down her sides "i don't care" he mumbled in-between kisses

she leaned against the wall, playing with the hair on the back of his neck "this is sneaky link behavior" she said softly, she watched him as he pressed soft open mouthed kisses down her jaw and making his way further down to her neck

"you're my girl, dont say that" he laughed "chris theyre gonna get suspicious" she told him. yet, she didn't want him to stop. she just wished they no longer were at her house with people over

"im not your girl" she laughed out, a breathy moan escaping her lips soon after "funny, i know you are so... you're stalling" he pulled away and looked at her, admiring her.

"don't look at me like that" she rolled her eyes "like what?" he asked "like you're gonna ask me to be your girlfriend inside my bathroom" "can't i do that?"

chris reached into his pocket and once again, pulled out the pearl necklace that he gave her for her birthday over a month ago. the pearl necklace he had a matching one of.

"not in my bathroom" she laughed, leaning her head on his arm "at least my room"

"i can barely control myself in here, if we go to your room im texting matt and nick to get the fuck out" he said sternly, he was serious "you are insane, you know that?" she asked

"yes, i do know that" he smiled, and placed the necklace around her, clasping it together and watching as it sat once again perfectly on her collarbones. "i love it" she smiled, staring at herself in the mirror

he now stood behind her, his hands rubbing her hips as he whispered in her ear "i love you"

she smiled, leaning back into him "i love you too, but only when you're not asking me to be your girlfriend in my bathroom" he burst out into laugher, leaning his head on her shoulder

"its just easier this way, im not good at big gestures and all that shit, lucky. can't i just ask you here?" he pouted, his head still facing downwards

"fine.. but you owe me dinner, and a real date for once" he nodded and turned her around, making eye contact with her once again

"be my girlfriend, clover. please?" she laughed and raised an eyebrow "you like me, chris? i never would've known, you wanna be mister nonchalant of the year so bad i-" he cut her off

"answer the question clover, will you be my girlfriend?" he asked again, seriously

"yes, yes i will be your girlfriend, you stubborn man" she rolled her eyes and kissed him once again, he had cast spells on her. she was sure of it.

the two soon went back outside to the living room, hand in hand. "oh no, don't tell me you did a quickie with me in the house" calista asked chris, her face twisting into disgust as she whispered to him "no, she wouldn't because y'all are in the house. bunch of cockblockers." chris whispered back

"nah, we can leave if you want cal" nate suggested, his arm wrapped around her waist "don't even say that, i have to keep him line" she pointed at chris, then at nate "and you, don't be suggesting that here. we are literally watching a movie" she told him sternly

"babe, its planet of the apes, we've seen it a thousand times" he reminded her "i don't care, i like the movies. how can you be horny with a bunch of apes on screen" calista sighed out, before leaning back into nates arms

clover laid the blanket over her and chris, her hand grazed the cold pearls that laid on her neck. while her eyes went to his neck, where his matching necklace was.

"baby?" she whispered, chris looked at her "yeah?" she just nodded her head, not being able to stop the small smile from creeping its way across her face "chris girls across the nation are gonna hate me" she whispered in his ear

"oh yeah? why?" he whispered back curiously. she leaned in close, smiling as she spoke as quiet as she could "because... pierce has maybe written a couple songs about how crazy i am. the way you like me" he laughed softly

"chill, lucky. you didn't wanna go to your room. we can watch the movie and then im staying the night" he told her "it cute that you thought you had an option again" she smiled and once again pressed a small kiss to his lips

the remaining of the movie was as expected, chaotic, and at the end of the night everyone went home except for chris, who laid on clovers bed like it was his own.

he scrolled on his phone while the girl showered, she claimed she hadn't shaved. and although chris said he didn't care she still did.

the podcast rowen featured on was doing numbers, and while some people now turned on clover the majority of people who had ever been near rowen refused to believe her.

gossip accounts and all of twitter had already pieced together that the person rowen was talking about on the podcast was clover, which was made obvious by the fact that rowen unfollowed clover on every platform to exist

she made shady tiktoks and tweeted petty things, making references to their past in texas and even sharing screenshots of the two girls messages.

and chris knew that it bothered clover, he could see it in her eyes that she was hurt, and maybe a part of her wanted to keep the friendship that she held in her heart for so many years.

clover excited the bathroom wrapped in a towel, a smug look on her face as she walked over to the bed where chris scrolled

"baby" she spoke softly, his eyes following her voice, and suddenly his attention was back again on his now beautiful girlfriend.

"you ready?" she whispered, kissing his jaw softly and with his phone thrown to the side the two spent the night together
