SHE LEFT HIM ON SEEN AGAIN. there it was, the small words underneath the message. "what the fuck?" he groaned. the girl next to him mumbled in her sleep as she rolled over, her bare back facing him

lydia whatever her name was— that was who she was to chris, and other than that he had no clue what or who she was. another girl who believed she could fix him, another girl that was wrong.  

he sat up, slowly removing the sheet from his legs as he stood up and put on sweatpants and whatever shirt he grabbed from the floor. his hair was messed up and he slowly tiptoed out of the room, shutting the door behind him

"what are you doing?" calista asked,  looking up from her phone. "remind me to start going to their houses, because i hate when they don't wake up early and dip." the girl smiled at his annoyance "you're actually stupid sometimes"

"you nervous for tomorrow?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. her eyes fell on the instagram post that was on her feed. clover moore. "i don't get nervous cali" the girl nodded "so you're gonna play her?"

"she's impossible to have a conversation with" he made excuses "but.. i got her number" the brunettes jaw dropped "no way, really?" he turned his phone, showing the contact he had made for her

"really? lady luck?" she laughed at the contact name "i have her as clover" she shrugged casually and looked back down at her phone, continuing to scroll. "you have her number?"

clover nodded "yeah? i'm pretty close with aspen, that friend of hers? we've done trips for brands together so we've met before, but it was just barely like a hey nice to meet you"

"she left me on seen again" he admitted "damn she's hoeing you" calista laughed "shut up, i don't get hoed"

the girl stood up, a playful smile on her face as she patted his head "karmas coming for you, chris. in the form of a women too, how poetic." she reminded him as she picked up the facetime with nate and went back upstairs to the guest room

he sighed and stared at the contact picture, wondering if he should break his own rules and text her first.
