         LANI walked down the streets of Oslo with her brother towards their near by cafe. Turns out Eva did end up going to the party, she had texted Lani yesterday letting the green eyed girl know. Lani shrugged it off saying she had only stayed for twenty minutes and ended up leaving with Noora in the end.

The night was strange, in her opinion. Oslo parties were definitely different then parties back in Madrid. She had only gone to one, but it was because her mother practically forced the girl to go out and meet friends. She didn't want Lani to be alone and stuck, like she herself felt.

Walking into Java Jones, the duo walked in to the line up which consisted of three people only. Elías turned to his sister, "I'll order, you find a seat?" He purposed.

Lani nodded, handing over her 10 krone to her brother. Parting ways she looked around the small coffee shop, spotting a empty table by the window of the cafe. Walking over placing her bag on floor beside her feet, she took a seat in the empty chair. She watched as her brother ordered. A tall shadow loomed over the brunette, looking up to the right of her she was met with bright blue eyes.

"Uh, sorry. I was wondering if you knew where the nearest Starbucks is? The coffee here isn't strong enough." The blonde joked, looking down at the girl.

Lani parted her lips and nodded, "I believe it's down the street." Looking back down at her hands. Furrowing her brows she looked up seeing the boy staring at her still, he then bursted into fits of laughter. Lani furrowed her brows in confusion, pink tinting her cheeks. "Sorry?"

"I was joking, sort of. I just wanted to talk to you, seeing as how you're well alone. Wow, that sounded weird. Uh, I'm Daniel. Just moved from LA." The boy smiled kindly down at the girl, pointing to the chair in front of her, she nodded.

"Not at all." She shook her head, Daniel looked to her with a raised brow, as he took his seat. Lani chuckled shaking her head. "Maybe a bit." She admitted.

"Your accent, you're not from Oslo either are you?" He asked intrigued with the green eyed beauty in front of him. He sipped on his coffee.

"Uh, no. My father was relocated here after some--" Lani furrowed her brows, "Complications, happened back in Spain. My brother and I were born there, my mother was Hispanic and Indonesian, where as my father is Norwegian." The brunette explained.

The blue eyed boy nodded his head in understanding, looking down at the mention of her mother, how she used past tense. Either her mother passed away or left them, he thought to himself.

Elías furrowed his brows at the blonde sitting with his sister, walking over he raised a brow placing the coffee beside his sister. "Lani, whose this?" He interrupted the duo.

"Hey, I'm Daniel. You must be the brother?" His American accent rang through the boy's ears. Elías nodded hesitantly, shaking the boys hand.

"Yeah." Elías firmly spoke. Lani nudged her brother, to drop the protective brotherly act. "You're new?"

Daniel nodded with a smile on his face, "Yes. Just moved here."

"Alone?" Elías pressed.

Lani nudged her brother in shock. Elías rolled his eyes at his sister. Daniel nodded, "Yeah, mom and dad aren't exactly parental figures." He nodded, sipping on his coffee. Lani and Elías frowned drinking their drinks. Daniel chuckled looking at the solemn expression on the siblings, "It isn't a big deal really. So far I'm happy here, everything is beautiful with the architecture and the people seem nice." He assured the duo.

The duo nodded, Lani and Elías smiled. "Well, you've just made two new friends."

              LANI, Elías, and Daniel had spent the afternoon together getting to know one another, and wandering the streets of Oslo. Lani had found out more about the blue eyed boy, like how he is also going to Nissen, he lives approximately five minutes away from the Santiago family in a apartment building near Noora. He explained how both of his parents were from Norway, to which he learned the language and spoke fluently in. His father abandoned his mother and him after meeting a woman from work, and his mother became to occupied with drinking and drugs to put food on the table for him. To say the siblings were surprised the boy had endured so much growing up was an understatement.

Their mother and father always taught them to respect others and be mindful that not everyone has it easy and a loving home. The Santiago family was blessed for a time being, after what happened with their mother it had brought the three closer together if it were possible.

Lani unlocked the front door of their house, letting the two males in. Removing her shoes, she walked up the platform, into the kitchen spotting their father cooking dinner for the them.

Roy looked over smiling at his daughter, "Prinsesse, made yours and your brothers favourite, Callos A La Madrileña--" Roy began, stopping eyeing the blonde boy who smiled widely and waved at the man who narrowed his eyes at the boy. "And you are?" He asked.

Lani sighed, "Papá, this is Daniel Rivers. He's new as well." She introduced.

Elías walked past his sister and Daniel walking over to their dad grabbing a churo shoving it in his mouth. The three looked to the younger teenager who smiled sheepishly with his mouth filled with bread.

"Roy." Their father nodded firmly to the boy who walked over sticking out his hand, Roy looked down at the boys hand and shook it. "You like Spanish food?" He asked with a raised brow to the boy.

"I love it!" Daniel excitedly said eyeing the food.

Roy smiled to the boy and nodded grabbing a plate for the Daniel as well. Lani smiled widely to her father as he kissed her forehead.

The four sat together joking and conversing with one another. It wasn't an awkward or quite dinner, but the opposite, actually. Roy took a liking to the blue eyed boy, seeing his kids happy with him.

Maybe moving here was a good idea, he thought to himself.

"You were basically living the American dream, bro." Elías fist bumped the air.

Lani and Roy rolled their eyes at the boy, chuckling. Daniel shook his head, "Nah, I mean some of it was great. Like the beach, the weather, girls, and all that. But the people can be-" He trailed off.

"Mean?" Lani's soft voice asked.

Daniel looked beside him to the green eyed beauty, he shook his head. "Yes and no. They were more interested in materialistic things rather than life itself. It was hard coming across genuine people, like you guys." He explained.

"Smooth." Roy chuckled at the boy.

After dinner Lani washed the remaining of the dishes, as Elías and Daniel played video games in the living room. Hearing Elías yelling about 'camping' and 'flash grenades' she rolled her eyes, at the boys.

Roy walked over to her, "I like him." He nodded to the blue eyed boy who was now standing jumping yelling out that he won.

Lani smiled and nodded. "Yeah, he's really nice and funny." Roy smiled down at his daughter, kissing the crown of her head. Walking back over to the boys, as Lani watched smiling in content. Looking down at her locket, she squeezed the heart shaped locket in her small hand.
