A loud bang from the front door was enough to startle YeoSang out of his staring session over the computer screen, his spectacles almost fighting to stay up his nose bridge. YeoSang blinks his attention away from the illuminated display turning his head towards his room door. Staring at it, YeoSang wonders if he should check what exactly is wrong or not until the worry and curiousity sure enough won over his work that he got up, his feet walking towards to the door.

He couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong and so, he grabs a hold of the metal knob before twisting it open and stepping out of his room, his feet walking straight to Seonghwa's room. YeoSang takes upon the task of knocking first and waiting for any reply. When he got none was when he furrowed his eyebrows, knocking the room door yet again when he asked his concerns out. "Seonghwa? You alright?" YeoSang's lips grew into a thin line at the muffled almost faint voiced reply coming back at that. "I-I am, YeoSang. I'm just tired I'll go to sleep. Goodnight." And that was the last he heard out of Seonghwa before he made his way back to his room with an unconvinced mind and a series of sighs.

"Maybe he truly is just tired." YeoSang shrugs off, titling his head right and left to crack his bones and remove the stiffness residing there. Scratching the bag of his head, YeoSang re-enters his room, his gaze falling onto the computer screen. He stares at it, his mind playing around the question if he should stop for today or not. YeoSang bites his lip in thought before nodding slightly to himself and turning off the system, taking off his spectacles and placing them down on the untidy desk filled with different sort of papers and incomprehensible scribbles.

Now in bed, YeoSang stares at the plain white ceiling, it's chalky glow in the dim light making it feel like a canvas of YeoSang's thoughts. Empty. The slight peeled off patches of dull paint roaming at the corner of his eyes seemed like the brushes of confusion painting down YeoSang's frustration and disappointment over his life. Just what was wrong with him? YeoSang's eyes could tell just how long ago the life out of them had left with the pressure of being the only son of his parents.

That one call from them once in a while would bring a smile of happiness to his face at first when he started working. After a little, it grew to a smile of obedience. After a little more while it started growing to hums of agreement. Later those hums changed to mere nods and now YeoSang isn't sure what it will turn to next. He was frustrated. He was tired. He just didn't want to continue anymore. He can't even remember the days he spent his time as a young child filled with curiosity about world's treasures. His life was a mere stage show at this moment.

His success printed on the paper of magazines and newspapers written by him, himself was a mere piece of performance after the strings to his mind were being controlled into moving his fingers on the papers and computer screen. All in all, he was a mere doll whose strings were controlled by his parents and his boss and the what-others-may-think thoughts. Sighing, YeoSang's palm comes to scrub through his features, a strained whine following behind before he picks his phone up.

2:30 a.m.

YeoSang knew he needed sleep but he didn't want to oblige with the necessity. His contact list had a fair list of people. Most of them being colleagues, information sources, etc. The most used ones though included, Jongho and Seonghwa. His finger though roamed over a particular contact, a new one to be exact. Jung Yunho.

Closing his eyes in contemplation, YeoSang decides to use the chance. A single tap was enough to have the call ringing and up YeoSang's ear in wait. The soft distant toot sound of the call getting picked up had YeoSang grow a little nervous suddenly. 'Ayy, The beauty up so late?' The deep voice curling up in his ears felt all too fresh at this hour that YeoSang couldn't help but wonder if he was finished or not by now. "Ah, yeah... can't fall asleep I guess." YeoSang mumbled back softly, closing his eyes just to relax a little.

'oooo....someone was thinking about me I guess.' Yunho's teasing was an expected thing to tag along and for some reason YeoSang wasn't much fazed by it this time. Maybe he has just gotten used to his behaviour. "Yunho." YeoSang mumbled softly to the other line. 'My name sounds so beautiful suddenly.' Yunho chuckles a comment back having YeoSang roll his eyes with an unamused smile up his face. "How does it feel?" He continued asking waiting for Yunho to answer back.

'What do you mean?' Sudden question's confusion dawned upon Yunho, his eyebrows creased in slight curiousity. YeoSang stays silent for what seems search for comfort until he voices out every word clearly "I mean....to be yourself." Eyes closed and mind wandering to nowhere but the visible void of dark, YeoSang breathes slowly waiting for his answers. Yunho doesn't question anymore confusion back, just stays silent for a while.

'Come to Itaewon on Wednesday. I'll let you know.' Yunho mumbles back, a small smile on his face which sure wasn't any mischief's curtain. The mention of Itaewon had YeoSang's tired eyes and ears open clearer, his first vision being the numerous flickering lights in the dark and his arms around Yunho. "Okay. Goodnight." YeoSang mumbled back, hanging the call up with no concern of anything and throwing it back on his nightstand and closing his eyes in thought.

Yunho on the other side furrows his eyebrows, taken aback by the sudden call and sudden hang up but still feeling a sense of understanding towards the introvert. "He seems too tired..." Yunho trails off keeping his phone back and falling into a deep sleep.

The break of dawn was also the crack of Seonghwa's eye as he didn't bother to rub the sleep out of his eyes. He didn't get much of a sleep to begin with anyway. Roaming around his room obviously sorting a few disordered and scattered stuff, Seonghwa picks out a pair of sweats and makes his way into the shower. Like usual he didn't take his 40 minutes but came out in a good enough 10 or 15 minutes. Following all the things was him unlocking his door and silently creeping out the apartment door at 6 a.m. in the morning.

Plugging his ear-pods in, Seonghwa closes his eye to take in the fresh cold air with his body delivering a shiver after. Scrunching up his nose suddenly over the shiver, Seonghwa cups his face before sneezing. Sighing, Seonghwa rolls his eye while rubbing his nose and setting off onto a long jogging routine. His warm breath dispersed into segments of white fog as he ran through the cold, his hair flying like pieces of silk.

Running and running until after half an hour, Park Seonghwa takes the liberty to stop, his hands falling to his knees, head hanging while he panted out white fog. After a few seconds he straightened, his eyes scanning the familiar surroundings. Seonghwa walk a few steps until he hit the bridge railings, his eyes blinking at the slight stinging of the cold wind blowing past his face. Softly grabbing the cold metal railings, Seonghwa stared at the river beneath. He remembers it all so well. Till today the visions are so clear.

The glittery night's glow refracted through the rain, it's big drops falling like a flood onto his head and entering his eyes along. There he stared at the glowing buildings, the busy city's chaos looking so beautiful. The river underneath felt like thousands of frogs breathed through its surface when in actual it was just the rain splashing on the surface of it's own kind.

Looking down below him, his eyes didn't flicker a single bit, he just stared and stared. His arms were getting numb and even the pain from holding onto the railings had started to fade cause of how long he just stood there. One step towards losing his grip onto the railings and he will be gone. No one would be able to know what happened to him until his body would be found.

Until his skin would be all white and wrinkled from the amount of water in his system. Until his lips would be blue with dead eyes and heartbeat on the pause forever. The splattering of rain above him felt like the music played on the funeral of a swan. Every drop of it entering his eye only to leave his sockets like the invisible teary cry before it settled in its watery grave.

"Is it beautiful there?" A deep raspy voice melted through the rain splatters grabbing his attention out of nowhere in slight shock and surprise. "Wait! Let me come there too!" He widened his eyes when he saw the guy attempt to climb the bridge railings and slightly slipping even before he could swing one leg up. Seonghwa immediately shouted back. "Are you crazy?! Stop there, you will fall down!"

The guy didn't bother and just grinned before swinging his leg up the railings and now standing above it and attempting to come down near Seonghwa before he heard him groan loudly. Seonghwa gritted his teeth before swiftly turning in his dangerous spot and swinging his leg up and crossing the railing to land on ground before pulling the guy along only to fall onto his back.

"Just how crazy do you think can I be?" "Shut up YeoSang!"
