Returning home brought out joy from within as surely as the new flower loves the sun.

It was a cloudy day yet soft filtered light seemed as if it touched their souls.Sameer stood still at his position as he stared at the 'Maheshwari Mansion',his home.It felt as if in those sweet moments he was able to self reflect all the sweet memories spent and created in that place.A smile crept on his face as he felt a tug.He looked down to look at his wife,his Naina who had always stood by him in all these bad time.He bent to peck her forehead making her smile genuinely.

"Chale?"Naina asked him softly at which he bobbed his head a bit.Naina chuckled seeing his excitement as she swayed her hand on her an year old son's head who was sleeping peacefully in Sameer's embrace.They walked in the house,Deepika ran towards Sameer and hugged him tightly.

"Bhai."She mumbled in between her sobs.

"Tu kabse itna rone lagi Deepu."Sameer said as he wiped her tears.

"Promise karo aap kabhi nahi jaoge aur agar gaye bhi na toh mai..mai apke peeche aajaungi bhoot ki tarah."Deepika said, making him smile.She then flung into Naina's arms asking her ample of questions at the same time to which Naina replied patiently.

"Mai uta sakti hu isse?"Deepika asked pouting cutely.Sameer nodded and handed the kid to her.Naina walked towards Vishaka who was staring them with misty eyes.

"Maa,"Naina mumbled as she held Vishaka's hands.

"Sorry."Guilt was written all over her face.She  bitterly regretted believing Mamiji,for speaking ill about her daughter-in-law who was more like a daughter to her.Just because of her fault her children had to go through all these things for five years.Her eyes seemed to be burned by the tears that brimmed in her eyes.She was ashamed of herself,of her deeds.

"I am sorry.Ho sake toh muje maaf kardena,please."

"Maa."Sameer called her as he wrapped his arms around Vishaka and hugged her tightly.

"Sameer."Vishaka panicked as she felt some wetness on her shoulder.She tried to look at him but he hid his face in her crook of neck.

"I missed you Maa.I..I missed you so much Maa."Sameer uttered.

"I am sorry beta."Vishaka replied feeling guilty as she rubbed his back and mumbled soothing words to console him.

"Ache khase naujawan mere bete ko rula diya tumne."Vivek said as he sidehugged Naina.Preeti too came downstairs as she saw Naina and hugged her tightly.

"I am sorry beta.Mere vajah se tum dono ko yeh sab..maine kya kuch nahi kaha tumhe Naina prabha bhabhi ki baato ko sunkar.I am really sorry."Vishaka spoke with her head lowered in regret.

"Maa galti toh har kisi se hoti haina.Aur aap maafi bilkul mat mango.Ab sab kuch teek hogaya haina  toh ab purani chizo ki baate hum nahi karenge.Maa ke akho mai aasu ache nahi lagte."Sameer said as he wiped tears from Vishaka's face making her smile a bit.

"Rohan kaha hai?"Sameer asked wiping off his tears.

"Voh vaha dining room mai bete hai.Bol rahe the ki aapse gussa hai."Preeti replied as she laughed a bit.Sameer smiled and walked towards dining room to find Rohan sitting there puffing his face.

"Kya hua tujhe cartoon?"Sameer asked as he sat next to him.

"Pata nahi bas gussa aa raha hai aapar.Hi bhabhi!"Rohan asked waving a hi at Naina with a sweet smile on his face.

"Maine kya bigada hai tera?"Sameer asked him as he hit his head playfully.

"Aap na humesha mujhe bhul jate ho.Is deepu ko hi priority pai rakhte ho.Mujhe milna tha Arush se pehle lekin nahi aapne Deepu se sabse pehle milaya.Aise todi na hota hai,mujhe milna tha na."Rohan whined but at the very next moment whinced as Deepika hit his head.

"Ro mat zyada."She said as she handed him Arush carefully.Rohan smiled widely and kissed baby's cheeks making sure he does not wake him up.Vishaka and Vivek sat on the either side of Rohan as they adored theor grandson.Preeti and Deepika smiled genuinely seeing them.Sameer wrapped his hand around Naina's shoulder who seemed to be upset.Naina tilted her head to look at Sameer and smiled weakly,resting her head on his chest.Sameer smiled a bit understanding her inner turmoil,as he rubbed his tumb against her arm pecking her hairline softly.

Naina watched the jet-black midnight, lost in the loop of thoughts.The day had passed just like as if it was just an hour.Her misty eyes were steady at a distant where the twilight beckoned the stars.She wiped her tears with her palm carelessly as she felt presence of her husband.Sameer moved closer as he sat next to her yet chose to stay quiet,allowing her to stay lost in the moment a while longer.

"Our child did not deserve that.Meri vajah se yeh sab hua.Maine aapse zid ki us din isliye yeh sab hua.Nahi mai us khue ke paas jane ki zidh karti,na humara accident hota.Humara bacha zindha hota aur aapne bhi meri vajah se kya kuch nahi jhela.Yeh sab meri vajah se hua."Naina spoke as her voice choked.

"Jo hona tha voh hogaya Naina.Ab uske baare mai sochne se sab kuch teek toh nahi hojayega na."Sameer replied as he caressed her hairs gently.

"Lekin aapko kitna kuch sehna pada,teen saal..pure teen saal tak.."

"Maine kaha na Naina purani baato ke bare mai itna mat socho.Manta hu teen saal tak tum mujhe pehchaan nahi payi,tumhara treatment chalu tha.I was really disturbed by that lekin ab tum mere saath ho na bus aur kuch nahi chahiye mujhe."Sameer replied as he placed his palm on her cheeks looking into her eyes.

"I am sorry and thank you for everything.I-I love you."Naina mumbled with a shy smile creeping on her face.Sameer leaned towards her and rested his forehead against hers.

"Tumhe pata hai Jaan,pyaar toh mai pehle se karta tha tumse lekin un teen saalo mai tumse phirse mohbaat hogayi.Agar tumhari yadash aati bhi nahi na toh bhi chalta."He said with a smirk.

"Kehna kya chahte ho aap?"Naina asked pushing him away as she pulled her lips into a pout.

"Haa pata hai tab na tum badi pyaar se,izzat se baat karti thi.Itni shant thi na ghar mai.Ab dekho din bhar bas jagadti rehti ho tum mere saath.Abhi bhi dekho vahi kar rahi ho."

"Matlab kya hai apka mai jagdalu hu? Aap na kabhi nahi sudhrenge,Patel University ke bache hote hi gamandi hai."Naina snapped.

"VJN ke bacho se toh kafi behtar hote hai."

"Aap meri college ko kyu khos rahe ho?Agar mere college ke baare mai kuch bhi kaha toh..toh mai noch dungi apki shakal ko."Naina huffed angrily.

"Jangli billi.Maa ho ek bache ka phir bhi nahi badli."

"Toh kya hua?Aapmai bhi kaha akal aayi hai baap banke."

"Naina zyada bol rahi ho."Sameer said.

"Aww did you feel offended Sameer."Naina said teasingly as she grinned in victory.

"Tumse baat karna hi bekar hai."Sameer mumbled grumpily and walked in the room.Naina giggled seeing her baby husband who was sitting on the bed with arms crossed against his chest.She winked seeing him but he simply made a bad face in response.Naina walked towards the bed and sat next to him.

"Pata hai jab aap gussa hote ho na tab naak laal hojati,ekdum tamatar jaise."Naina said as she touched his nose and giggled cutely.

"Tamatar jaise."Sameer mimicked her.

"Itna gussa kyu karte ho.Jab itni pyaari biwi paas ho aur raat ka samay ho tab pata hai kya karte hai?"Naina said as she traced his jawline with her finger as she bit her lips seductively.Sameer held her hand and glared her but Naina passed a cute smile as she started unbuttoning his shirt.

"Gussa hu mai ab bhi."Sameer uttered unable to pretend as her fingers touched his bare chest.Naina smirked at his hesitancy and pecked his cheeks.She pressed her thumb on his lips,kissed on the edge of his lips and moved back.Sameer stared at her with puppy eyes.

"Kaha jaa rahi ho?"

"Arush,ab bhi khel raha hoga voh sabke saath.Sone ka vakt hogaya haina,mai lekar aati hu usse.Vaise bhi yaha rehkar kya fayda gussa hona aap."Naina said the last sentence dramatically and was about to go when Sameer pulled her towards him.He tugged her hair strands behind her ear as he stared at her lips.

"Shaitaan."He mumbled as she chuckled.Placing his palm on her cheeks he leaned to kiss her.Naina closed her eyes as she clutched his shirt in her fist.

"Sorry." A voice disturbed their moment.Sameer groaned in irritation.

"Bhabhi,mai toh Arush ko dene aaye tha.So gaya voh isliye."Rohan spoke as Naina tried to control her laughter while Sameer kept glaring him.

"Tu kabhi nahi sudhrega."Sameer uttered.

"Apki galti hai door band karna chahiye tha na.Phir mujpai jhoota ilzaam lagate ho ki mai apka pyaar ka dushman hu,haina bhabhi."Rohan spoke urging Naina to agree with him.

"Preeti kaha hai Rohan?"Naina asked.

"Kamre mai,kuch kaam karna tha usse toh room mai chali gayi voh mai bhi chalta hu.Bhai,Dad bula rahe hai apko."Rohan spoke.

"Mujhe,is wakt? Kya baat karna hai unhe?"Sameer questioned.

"O-Office ke baare mai."Rohan replied as he stammered evidently.

"Office ke baare mai mujhse kyu baat karna hai unhe.I have my own company and I don't want to get involved in family business.Tu hai,dad bhi toh hai voh sambhalne ke liye.Maine Dad ko bataya tha is chiz ke bare mai phir voh kyu samaj nahi rahe."Sameer sighed in frustration.In these five years he had built up his own comapny.Though it was not huge as the Maheshwari Industries,the comapny was quite successful.

"Apka hakh hai CEO banne ka.Bhai I feel so guilty for taking that post.Mujhe nahi rehna CEO.I will stop working if you don't take up that post back."Rohan spoke.

"Rohan pagal mat ban.You don't have to feel guilty.You deserve it so Dad has appointed you,given you such a big responsiblity to deal with."Sameer tried explaining him.

"Mujhe nahi rehna CEO of the company.Aap samaj kyu nahi rahe meri baat ko."

"Rohan! Ek baar bolu toh samaj nahi aata tujhe?"Sameer yelled helplessly.Arush squirmed in sleep in Naina's embrace listening to the loud voice.Rohan stood with his head hung down as he shut his eyes not wanting the tears to flow while Sameer preseed bridge of his nose cursing himself for creating a scene and yelling at his younger brother.

"Papa..Maa"Naina uttered as she saw Vivek and Vishaka standing near the corridor.

"Sameer meri baat sun beta-"Vivek said but was interrupted by Sameer.

"Dad maine kaha tha na ki mai nahi banna chahta CEO,Rohan ache se sambhal raha hai na sab kuch phir kyu yeh sab.Maa mujhe nahi banna."

"Ab bhi gussa hai mujhse? I am sor-"
Vishaka spoke.

"Naa maa.Aapse toh kabhi gussa tha hi nahi mai.Rohan achi tarah se sambhal raha hai na mai nahi chahta ki usse voh post li jaye.Apne hume yaha bhulaya,hume yaha humesha ke liye rehne ke liye kaha,hum dono ne yeh sab baate maani na.Mujhe nahi chahiye Maa..Dad.Mujhe bharosa hai Rohan par,voh sambhal lega sab..mujhse bhi behtar sambhalega sab,pura vishwas hai mujhe."Sameer said with a slight smile as he patted Rohan's shoulder.

"Haq hai aapka nahi chahiye mujhe aise koi bhi chiz jo apse chini gayi ho.Bhai please,mujhe yeh post nahi chahiye.I promise mai saara kaam karunga.I won't even become pyaar ka dushman.I promise Bhai."Rohan said as he flung into Sameer's arms as he sobbed.

"Rohan"

"Please Bhai."

"Tu samaj nahi raha hai Rohan."

"Please Bhai."Sameer glanced at Naina,Vivek and Vishaka helplessly as Rohan still kept sobbing in his arms.

"Teek hai."Sameer uttered making everyone smile.Rohan rubbed his nose on Sameer's shirt.

"Rohan!"Sameer yelled while Naima giggled cutely.

"Love you bhai!"He replied wiping off his tears.Vishaka raised her hand to touch Sameer's face and looked at him in confusion.

"Yeh kya hua hai beta?"She asked in concern while Sameer simply giggled.

"Apki pyaari bahu ne nocha tha parso."Naina pursed her lips in embarrassment as he glared Sameer for complaining to Vishaka.Sameer stuck tongue as he teased her.

"Waah Bhabhi!"Rohan said as he laughed.

"Kaam kiye honge aise tune."Vivek spoke with a constant smile on his face.

"Dad maine sachi kuch nahin kiya,yeh hai hi jungli billi."Sameer uttered making faces.

"Meri bachi ke baare mai aisa mat bol Sameer."Vishaka spoke as she caressed cheeks of Arush who had snuggled into Naina's embrace and then swayed her hand over Naina's head with motherly love.

"Sab mujhe bhul gaye."Preeti said making a sad face as she entered the room.

"Tujhe kon hi bhul sakta hai,Preeto."Rohan said as he gestured her to come in.

"Preeto,sahi jaa raha hai."Sameer nudged him with a teasing smile while Rohan blushed a bit.Preeti sat next to Naina while Vivek and Vishaka left giving them space to talk.

"Bhai aap bhabhi ko kahi le kyu nahi jaate,something like long drive.Mere paas ab bhi voh cd hai,chahiye apko?"Rohan spoke grinning only to recieve a hit on his head by Sameer.

"Ab kaha ja sakte hai raat hogayi hai aur Arush bhi toh hai."Naina mumbled.

"Arush ko mai sambhal lungi Naina.Itne bade bandar ko jhel sakti hu toh itna pyaara bacha ko sambhal hi sakti hu."Preeti spoke while Rohan chuckled listening to her.

"Lekin-"

"Koi lekin-vekin nahi tu aram se jaa,jijaji ke saath tu jaa rahi hai.Arush ki bilkul chinta mat kar mai hu na."Preeti interrupted Naina as she carefully took Arush from her arms.

The night was a special kind of blackness, the kind that wants only to hold the stars and help them to shine all the brighter.The cool breeze hit their bodies making their lips tug into a soulful smile.Sameer lover wrapped his arms around Naina and I let her head rest upon his chest. Their thoughts stopped as if their peace and sole happiness took over their mind when they were close. They had come a long way together,supporting each other when he or she needed them the most.Embracing the elements as well total-strangers when they got married to becoming soul of each other,made them smile genuinely.

'A perfect love story,arranged by their parents.'

They thought to themselves.

"I had never thought that I would fall for someone in this way.I cannot express my love in words Naina.Tu..Tum nahi janti ki mere liye tum kya maine rakhti ho.I can just say that I love you and thank you for being there with me whenever I needed." Sameer squeezed Naina's petty body as if he needed a reality check whether she was really there with him or was it a loving dream.

"I love you too and sorry maine apko kitna pareshaan kiya.Mere zid ke vajah se sab kuch barbad ho gaya tha.I should have listened to you then.You were struggling then to form our company lekin ap pai meri bhi zimmedari aa padi.I am sorry."Naina spoke aa she linked her arms with his and looked at him with teary eyes.

"Naina,mera pyaar ho tum koi bhoj nahi.Mere bhure waqt mai saath thi tum toh phir jab tum mushkil se guzar rahi thi toh kaise haath chod deta tumhara?"Sameer spoke as he ran his hands up her bare arms and reached her face gently sending the shivers in her body.They watched the lake with a constant smile on their face.

"Dil ka dariya beh hi gaya
Ishq ibadat ban hi gaya
Khud ko mujhe tu sonp de
Meri zaroorat tu ban gaya"

Naina sang while in that moment the arms wrapped around her squeezed a fraction tighter.She breathed more slowly, her body melting into her Sameer's as every muscle lost its tension to the air.She gasped as she felt his lips touching her earlobe.

"Baat dil ki nazron ne ki
Sach keh raha, teri kasam
Tere bin ab na lenge ik bhi dam
Tujhe kitna chahne lage hum.."

He continued singing and pecked her earlobe making her smile genuinely.He rested his head on her head,pulling her more closer to him.
Love is a quiet emotion that in time becomes part of the oxygen you need to breathe, and so though you may feel not sure that it's there, any form of removal and the emotions begin to choke.A love story weaved from being strangers to lovers of Sameer and Naina,stays forever,in our hearts.
