CHAPTER 69- ENGAGEMENT

Finally it was the day of engagement of Deeika-Sahil and Rohan-Preeti.All the Maheshwaris were doing the last moment preparations.Vishaka came wearing a beautiful saree and said Naina dress up as she was helping Vivek and Rohan.Naina agreed to her and went to the room.

She stood spell bounded seeing her husband who was looking like some Greek God in the white sherwani.She was so busy oogling over him that she did not realise when he came near her and kissed her cheeks.She felt her face to be heated by embarrassment.

"hayee mer sharmili,anadar toh aao aur ha maine jo tumhare liye kapde laaye hai vahi pehena.." Sameer said backhugging her..

"jii aap kab laye mere liye kapde aur yaha toh teen teen box hai.." Naina said perplexed looking at the boxes kept on the bed..

"buddhu maine teen sariya layi hai tum aaj please voh red vali pehenna,meri vajah se shopping nahi jaa payi na tum,isliye mai hi laya yeh tumhare liye.." he said kissing her neck.She felt jitters and smilled softly turning towards him and hugged him tightly..

"ab thank you bolungi toh chid jaoge na aap isliye hug kiya.." She said cutely and went to change while Sameer left the room to give her her own space and time to change..

They had reached the hall where engagement was going to tqke place.Naina hugged chachiji and chachaji.She was meeting them after a long time.Rohan looked at Preeti who was looking beautiful in apeach saree.Sahil and his family also came to the hall.Vishaka,Nanu and Vivek greeted them with a smile.Sahil was oogling over Deepika who blushed in response.

The couples went on the stage and the engagement ceremony began.Naina stood beside Sameer while he pulled her towards him by her waist.

"jii sab hai yaha.." Naina said concerned about the surrounding but sameer did not loosen his grip..

"muje sabse kya pharak padta hai bas tum saath raho meri,duniya gayi baad mai.." He said lovingly,Naina blushed a bit then looked at the couples exchanging the ring.

Finally Rohan-Preeti's and Sahil-Deepika's engagement was done.People showered flowers on them.Naina looked at sameer and saw a red mark on his sherwani near his chest.She moved her hand towards the mark and rubbed that part but the mark did not go.Her eyes widened in shock when she realised that it was not a Mark but a Laser Mark! She looked at the direction and found a person aiming at Sameer ...

GUN SHOT IS HEARD!!

"Sameeerr!.."Naina screamed at top of her voice and pulled him.Due to the sudden action both of them fall on the floor..

Everybody looked at them in shock.Naina touched Sameer's face numerous times to satisfy herself he was fine.He was shocked and kept staring at the waiter who had been shot as he was standing right behind him.Vishaka came running to Sameer and hugged him tightly crying.She checked if He and Naina was fine.

"tu teek hai na.." She asked him crying..

"h..haa mummy please da..dad,nanu unhe hospital le jaiye.." Sameer said concerned for the waiter who was fighting for his life.Vivek,Nanu,Sahil ans Rohan took that man to the hospital.While others wrapped up the engagement and returned to their houses.

Naina was too silent after this incident.She changed into some comfortable clothes.Sameer was waiting for her.She came and sat next to him resting her head on his chest.

"aree ab aisi udaas hi rahogi kyaa.." Sameer said to lighten the mood..

"apko agar kuch ho jaata toh?" She said sadly clutching his tshirt in fear of losing him..

"kuch hua toh nahi na aur tum ne hi toh meri jaan bachayi aaj.." Sameer said kissing her forehead as her eyes turned misty..

"l..lekin apko koi kyu marna chahta hai.." she asked looking at him..

"pata nahi nainu,chodo yeh sab baate sojaye hum.." He said lying on bed holding Naina in her embrace.She was not able to come out of thhe incident that had happened.Sameer bent and captured her lips.She was shocked at first but then responded to with full passion.Breaking the kiss she snuggled into his chest with a slight smile.

"Good Night Jaan.." He mumbeled against her ears to which she just hummed blushing and nuzzling into him.

Kyu Sameer ko marne ki koi koshish ki hogi?

Who is the person who tried to kill Sameer?

I don't know why but I am not satisfied with this part myself.I don't know why lekin meko aisa lag raha hai ki I am not able to write good these days🤷
