— 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐬；𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐨𝐥𝐟
— 𝖼𝗁𝖺𝗉𝗍𝖾𝗋 𝖿𝗂𝗏𝖾：𝗉𝗅𝖺𝗇𝗇𝗂𝗇𝗀

Scott and Stiles finished with lacrosse practice and headed to chemistry class, when they both got into the class they took their assigned seats which were next to each other and started talking about the new werewolf problem.

"Why would Derek choose Isaac?"Scott asked Stiles as they were supposed to be taking notes but instead really wanted to know why Derek chose Isaac out of all the people.

Stiles answered back, "Peter told me if the bite doesn't turn you it could kill you and maybe teenagers have a better chance of surviving."

"Doesn't being a teenager mean your dad can't hold him?"Scott said, referring to it being a full moon tonight and not wanting to worry about Isaac being the one to out their existence.

"Well not unless they have solid evidence or a witness", Stiles answered back as he thought about what Scott said. Then Stiles realized that Jackson was nowhere to be found in class so he turned around to find Danny, who is Jackson's best friend and question, "Danny, where's Jackson?" Danny answered, "In the principal's office talking to your dad." Stiles became more intrigued on why Jackson was in the principal's office talking to his dad (The Sheriff) asked, "What, why?" Danny then answered, "Maybe because he lives across the street from Isaac." as if it was the most obvious answer.

Scott then answered when he heard the information "Witness", then Stiles turned around in his seat and told Scott, "We gotta get to the principal's office." Scott answered "How?" while the boys were coming up with a plan to get Isaac out of jail. They also zoned out on the fact they were still in chemistry class, Mr.Harris spoke up and said, "Everybody please turn to page 73." And while Mr.Harris waited for his students to catch up with his head turned to the chalkboard, someone threw a paper ball at his head which caused him to turn around and say, "Who in the hell did that?"

As he waited for someone to fess up to it, Stiles and Scott pointed fingers at each other, which ended up with them getting a one way ticket to the principal's office to listen in on the questioning that Stiles' dad was having with Jackson.

"Wait, so are you telling me that you knew Isaac's father was hitting him?" questioned the Sheriff as he spoke to Jackson in the Principal's office.

"Hitting him? He was kicking the crap out of him." Jackson answered like it was the most entertaining thing in the world, his voice showed no remorse but it did show a certain cockiness like it wasn't his problem to deal with.

"Did you ever say anything to anyone? A teacher, parents, anyone?" asked the sheriff, finding it so hard that he didn't speak up about the situation sooner.

"Nope, it's not my problem," Jackson answered without a care in the world.

"No, no of course not.' the sheriff replied, finding it hard to believe the kid in front him didn't care about someone else getting hurt. He continued to talk to Jackson and say, "You know the kids getting beaten up are always the ones that least deserve it." "Yeah," Jackson answered as he zoned out, then came to the realization of what the Sheriff was saying, "Wait, what?"Then the sheriff replied, "I think we're done here." When finished with the conversation with Jackson, he walked out of the principal's office.

As Stiles was sitting outside of the principal's office he didn't hear his dad coming out because he didn't have super hearing, so when he saw him come out he scrambled to cover his face from being seen by his dad.But it was already to late cause his father had seen him, and as feed up as he was he decided to ignore the fact the his son was yet again caught up in school drama and said, "Hi,Scott" As Scott barley answered back a, hi the sheriff glanced at his son one more time the kept walking to find more evidence for his current case.

Making sure Stiles father had left the boys, looked in the direction of them leave then the new principal came out and said, "Boys" once the new principal said that the boys looked like they had figured out who the murder was in the movies, and turned their heads around to come face to face with Gerard Argent, Allison's grandfather who also happens to be a ruthless hunter.

As Gerard smirked at the new upcoming people who were about to step foot into his office he said, "Come on in" like he was setting a trap and waited for them to step in it.

They eventually got in the office and sat down in their chairs, they started their conversation. "Scott McCall, academically not the most accomplished but I see you have become quite the star athlete." Gerard stated as he read out of a manilla folder that had the students record. Scott didn't reply verbally, he just nodded his head gazing down to the ground.

"Mr.Stilinski, oh perfect grades but little to no extracurriculars." Gerard said as he was looking at Stiles records. Then he said "Maybe you should try lacrosse?" and Stiles answered, "Oh, I already am." and was interrupted by Gerard saying "Hold on, McCall as in your the Scott that was dating my granddaughter." as if he were trying to recall a chat he had with someone stating the fact.

And when he said that sentence, it caught Scott's attention and he said quickly, "We were but not dating anymore." he said matter-of-factly. And rambled on saying "Not dating, not seeing any of each other or doing anything with each other at all." he said finishing up trying to cover up poorly, because he was still seeing Allison.

Even though Gerard saw through his lies he didn't say anything about it specifically and said, "Relax, Scott you look like you're about to crack the cyanide pill with your teeth." said Gerard slowly chuckling.

Scott then tried to cover up his cover up by saying "Just had a bad break-up." "Oh, that's too bad, you seem like a pretty nice kid to me," Gerard said. "Now listen guys, yes I am the principal, but I really don't think you want me as your enemy."

Gerard finished saying, when Stiles chimed in and said "Is that so?" not believing a word the old man said. And Gerard finished saying "However, this is my first day, I do need to support my teacher's so unfortunately for you someones going to have to stay behind and take the fall and stay behind for detention. Gerard finished saying as he looked at Stiles and so did Scott, then finally Stiles looked up as the old man stopped talking and saw both him and Scott looked at him to take the fall because they all knew who came up with the idea and actually did what they were accused of.

When Scott and Stiles finished up with Gerard, Scott ran out of the principal's office to the front of the school to see Isaac in the back of the police car being hauled to the station for lock till further notice.

Then as Scott was about to go back into the school Derek pulled up in his black Camaro and said "Get in!" "Are you serious?" questioned Scott. "You did that, that's your fault" Scott said referring to Isaac getting hauled away.

"I know that" Derek said taking responsibility "Now get in the car and help me," Derek said. "No I've got a better idea, I'm going to call a lawyer, because a lawyer might actually have a chance at getting him out before the moon comes out." Scott finished saying.

"Not when they do a real search of the house," Derek said. "What do you mean?" Scott asked, having no clue what Derek was going to say next. "Whatever Jackson said to the cops, what's in the house is worse. A lot worse, Derek said, trying to get Scott to finally get him in the car.

Since Scott knew Derek knew something about what was in the house, Scott got in the car even if he didn't really want to. And they both sped off to Isaac's house to see what more they could find.

Once Scott and Derek arrived, Scott asked Derek "If Isaac didn't kill his father, then who did?" "I don't know yet," Derek answered. "So how do you know he's telling the truth?" Scott asked Derek, trying to see why he believed the kid cause all clues that he knew to pointed to Isaac.

"Because I trust my senses, and it's a combination of them, not just your sense of smell." Derek answered and Scott finally figured out what Scott was talking about recalling the lacrosse practice that happened early today. "You saw the lacrosse thing today?" "Yeah", "Did it look that bad?" Scott asked, really wanting to know. And Derek answered "Yeah," as they continued to walk throughout the Lahey house.

Meanwhile, at the Argent residence Allison was spying on her father and grandfather talking in the study about how they think Isaac was a new werewolf who had spilt blood and if they were going to hunt him. But then as Allison was faking as if she was walking to the front door she bumped into a police deputy who was stepping out of the meeting with Argent men. And her father asked her to come to the study.

Derek and Scott finally made it to where the basement of the house was, and Derek asked Scott, "You wanna learn, let's start now" Derek said as he opened the door to the dark basement where Scott flashed his flashlight in the direction.

As they started to walk down the stairs of the dark basement Scott asked, "What's down there?" "Motive", Derek answered plainly. "And what am I looking for?" Scott asked curiously. "Follow your senses" is all Derek said.

"What happened down here?" asked Scott "the kind of thing that leaves an impression" Derek answered.Scott continued to look around the Lahey's basement for clues to what Derek was talking about.Then he came across claw marks on the floor and looked up to see an old chest freezer and walked over to it, and saw that it had an old rusted lock.

As Scott picked up the lock to inspect it Derek popped up like a ghost out of thin air with a flashlight in his hand, causing Scott to jump. And Derek looked Scott in the eye and said "Open it" referring to the freezer.

As Scott took off the lock to open the freezer, he saw claw marks all around the walls of the freezer and some of the marks had blood on them.

With Stiles, he was on the phone with Allison saying he just got out of detention and she told him that she finished talking to her dad and grandfather saying that they were asking questions about how Lydia got bit by Peter and how she saw a man come out of the study dressed as a deputy. And Stiles came to the conclusion that they were sending him out for Isaac. But Allison also saw the man had a box with a craving of "wolfsbane" on it. So Stiles said he would keep in touch but that he had to go save Isaac before the hunter put him down.

"This is why he said yes to you?" Scott asked as he was surprised by what he had found in the Lahey's residence. "Everyone wants power" Derek stated as it was the obvious answer to him. "If we help you, then you have to stop. You can't just go around turning people into werewolves." Scott said "I can if they're willing.' Derek stated to the boy as if people didn't have a choice in the matter if they wanted to become supernatural. "Did you tell Isaac about the Argents, about being hunted?" Scott asked as if Derek had not done it already. "Yes, and he still asked." Derek said in a matter-of-fact manner. "Then he's an idiot" Scott said "And you're an idiot for dating Argent's daughter." "Yeah, I know your little secret and if I know how long do you think it will take for them to find out?" "You saw what happens to an omega." "With me, you'll learn how to use all of your senses. With me you'll learn control, even on a full moon." Derek stated trying to get Scott to reason with him.

As Scott's claws began to come out of his fingernails Scott said, "If I'm with you, I lose her." "You're gonna lose her anyway, you know that." Derek stated and began to walk away, but Scott said "Wait" stopping Derek from walking and continued to say "I'm not part of your pack, but I want him out." "He's my responsibility too" Scott said "Why, because he's one of us?" Derek questioned trying to see why Scott would work with him knowing they didn't really see eye to eye. "Because he's innocent," Scott answered.

Allison was at the police station slowing down the hunter that was meant to "get" Isaac, and Stiles was on the phone currently driving his trusty dusty jeep trying to get there as fast as he could.

• ♪ •

With the moon reaching at its peak Scott and Isaac were both transforming due to feeling the pull. But the difference was that Issac was in the public eye while his transformation was taking place and Scott was with the person that helped him calm down, he was with the person that made him feel like everything was worth it, he was with his anchor "Allison".

• ♪ •

Outside of the police station Stiles sat in his blue jeep alongside Derek as they were here to bust Isaac out of jail. "Okay, now the keys to every cell are in a password protected lock box in my father's office. The problem is getting past the front desk." Stiles said as he was explaining how to get in to save Isaac.

"I'll distract her" Derek stated plainly as he started getting out of the jeep. "Woah, woah, woah you, you're not going in there?" questioned stiles as he grabbed Derek's arm to stop him from getting out of the jeep. Derek looked at Stiles hand on his shoulder and back to his face till Stiles got the hint and took his hand off of his shoulder. "I'm taking my hand off" stated Stiles, "I was exonerated" Derek said "You're still a person of interest." Stiles said back to Derek."An innocent person," Derek exclaimed. "Yo- an ino-, yeah right" Stiles said as he knew Derek wasn't as innocent as the people of the public saw. "Ok fine, what's your plan?" Stiles asked just to see what Derek would say. "To distract her" Derek stated again "Uh huh, how by punching her in the face?" Stiles said "heh, by talking to her" Derek said

"Okay alright, give me a sample, what are you gonna open up with?" Stiles asked, wanting to see if Derek could actually do what he said he would do. Derek didn't say anything, just looked at Stiles again. "Dead silence, that should work beautifully, got any other ideas." Stiles asked with sarcasm dripping from his tone. "I'm thinking about punching you in the face." Derek threatened

After the whole debacle about how Derek was going to distract the desk lady, they finally came up with a plan and went inside the building.

But what they didn't see during their whole debate, was a rather very pretty woman slipping through the back door of the police station with a black backpack strapped to her back to break out a certain new wolf.
