WAS ADENA DRAKOS SPOILED? yes, very much so. was she a bitch who couldn't appreciate or be grateful? no. she loved her parents and was unbelievably grateful for everything she had.

when your father is the forty-second most wealthy man on the planet, you tend to be spoiled. which was also the reason that she was currently sat in the ministro pistarini airport in buenos aires, argentina.

she had graduated college a few months ago and her father had gotten her and her friends on a plane immediately. adena had been on almost every corner of the planet at this point and she could remember having the best time ever in argentina, when she was still a child.

naturally, her graduation gift from her parents was a month away to said country and helios had no problem with paying for alessia and ares as well.

adena had known ares all her life, they had been best friends since she could remember. they went to private school together, and their parents were best friends as well. when they were fifteen, they made it very clear to both of their parents that they were strictly friends, and would never be more then that. ares was the brother she never had.

adena met alessia through the internet, as cringey as it seemed. alessia had commented on her lip sync post with 'super rich kid w nothing but loose ends' and adena instantly loved her. they became friends and slowly started talking more and more, when the italian girl finally opened up about her broken home, adena was the first to offer her house up as a place to stay.

so, the greek girl informed her father and mother of her friends' situation, with alessia's permission. helios and calliope had been nothing but understanding, even offering to send the private jet over to italy to go and pick her up.

at first, alessia declined claiming that it was too much, but helios was having non of it. two days later, the family of three flew to italy and brought alessia back to greece with them.

that had been in 2021, and alessia had been living with the drakos family ever since. the italian girl had become an honorary member of the family, helios and calliope loving her like a second daughter. they lived in a large mansion on the greek island of crete, right next to the sea.

the large home next to theirs, was the home of the macris family. ares' parents were also quite well off, his dad being fifty-eighth most wealthy man in the world.

when alessia had moved in, the three friends become inseparable. even though the italian girl had come from quite a poor family, the two rich kids never made her feel left out for not being used to the luxury lifestyle.

that brings us back to the airport, where the three friends were currently sat. they had a normal flight, since adena's father needed the private plane for something she didn't remember.

"oh my god, dee, let's do some people watching." alessia's voice sounded from beside her, ares on his phone to her left. "yes." adena agreed immediately, looking around for a victim.

"over there, those two old ladies, what do you think they're talking about?" the greek girl asked her friend, who smiled at the sight of the elderly women. "the one in the yellow cardigan just got a new boyfriend named phillip and she's telling her best friend for the first time." alessia fantasized.

"bro, you're so creative what the hell?" adena answered, impressed by her friends' response. "it's a talent." the italian girl quipped back, grinning.

as adena's eyes scanned the ever-moving crowd in the airport, she spotted a guy sitting in one of the lobby chairs, seemingly lost in thought. "sia, look over there. the handsome guy with the green hoodie and headphones." she described him, as alessia's eyes flashed for a second.

"yeah i see him, but did you just call him handsome?" she teased her best friend, who rolled her eyes and groaned dramatically. "what?! you never call any guy handsome, i was just surprised!" alessia defended herself, slightly chuckling at her friends' behavior.

when both of the girls looked back up however, the guy was gone, nowhere in sight. adena sighed, "alright, i'm getting a coffee, do you guys want any?" she questioned, getting up from her spot.

"just a frap is fine, dee." alessia said, ares remaining silent. "ares!" adena shouted a little louder, making the boy jump in surprise, "do you want anything from starbucks?" she asked as he pulled one of the headphone cups off of his ears.

"nah, i'm good, thanks dee." he gave her a tiny smile before going back to his music. normally ares was more talkative, but it was early and ares was definitely not a morning person.

she shrugged, walking off as she put her airpods in, the tune of 'wicked game' playing. she hummed along very softly, as though not to disturb other people.

as she entered the starbucks, her eyes immediately went to the guy with the green hoodie. she could see him a little better since he was closer now and she stood by her statement to alessia, he really was handsome.

she averted her eyes after a few seconds, patiently waiting her turn to order. every few minutes, her eyes wondered back to the attractive boy at the table.

there were names being called out by an older barista, "franco?" she put to question loudly, as the handsome boy made his way over.

adena didn't even hesitate to pull out her phone and pretend to call her mother as she clicked the screen for a few pictures. she knew it was cringe and probably illegal but it was whatever.

she put her phone down, slowly turning her head to fully look at him again. much to adena's surprise, he was also looking at her. he shot her a boyish grin and a wink, making her smile back.

"miss! can i take your order?" adena got snapped back into reality by the barista, "yeah, sorry about that. one matcha latte and one frappe, please." she shot the woman behind the counter an apologetic smile.

"that will be 14.60, sweetheart." the older woman smiled back warmly, "and you've got nothing to be sorry about, he was attractive." she winked, making adena blush in embarrassment.

she quickly payed for the drinks, which she had to wait on for a few minutes.
