TODAY WAS THE RACE AND WITH THAT, ALSO ADENA'S LAST FULL DAY IN ITALY. she was sad, but she also really wanted to go home, see her horses and just lie in her own bed for longer then five nights.

this was also the last day she would see franco in a while. he had come over to her hotel on saturday and met alessia and ares, who both approved of him quite quickly.

she was currently leaning over the barrier of the williams vip section with alessia, as ares was with mercedes again. (yes, adena had gone with him the day before because she had promised kimi.)

this weekend, she had met franco (obviously), kimi, very briefly spoke to ollie (who she congratulated on his sprint win) and paul. she had also spoken to arthur just before the race. the group of drivers were all really fun to talk to in adena's humble opinion, though the only reason she had really spoken to arthur, was because alessia had a little crush.

to the greek girls' surprise, alessia actually made the first move and asked for his number. arthur looked a bit dazed at first but quickly shook himself out of it and nodded insistently. the only one adena hadn't met yet was jak, but she literally couldn't find him anywhere.

she took out her phone and opened instagram, logging into her spam account and sending a message to jak, 'where tf are u bro i've looked for u EVERYWHERE.'

she looked up from her phone and back to the screen where she could see the race, only to see herself and her best friend. 'adena drakos, tiktok star and daughter of multi billionaire helios drakos & alessia rizzo, tiktok star.'

she looked around to find the camera, which didn't take long. she smiled sweetly in the hope that they'd leave her alone then, and luckily, they listened to her silent plea.

she already knew the shitstorm that would follow this. the angry fans, stating that she had no right to be there because she had no interest in the sport. to be fair, she wasn't really interested before she met franco, but now she was. she had always loved cars, or at least the cars that her father owned. she graduated college with a degree in engineering. plus, she wasn't even invited by the team, they had payed to be there.

the race was back on the screen and charles leclerc was winning, in some miraculous way. franco was running twelfth, which was actually great for his first formula one race.

she cheered along with everyone else as cars zoomed over the finish line, the roaring engines slowing down a bit as they began the cool-down lap.

adena was giggling with alessia as she watched her followers on her spam flood in. when about two hundred people had followed her, she quickly put her account back on private again.

of course, people started commenting on her most recent post, it ranging from hate comments to people gushing over her and franco.

although, one comment in particular stood out to her, "sia, look at this." the italian girl turned her head to look at the phone, 'soon people will know what you did' the comment read. "it's fucking luca, i'm telling you." alessia said as she groaned, throwing her head back in frustration.

adena looked at her quizzically, "why would he do that? why now? what is he even talking about?" she spit-fired the questions at her friend, hoping that what she suggested wasn't the case. "because you're moving on, obviously! you have franco now and to him, that's officially saying that you don't want him anymore." alessia reasoned.

it seemed a likely scenario, since luca's masculinity had always been fragile. luca had hated her friendship with ares, simply because ares was a guy.

"what the fuck is he talking about though? he was the one that fucked it up for himself." adena rhetorically asked, making alessia shrug, "he'll probably go in and try to make you the bad guy somehow."

"but what do i do in that case?" adena asked, getting more upset by the second. "just come out and tell the truth, i still have a video of him in the club that one night, use it as proof or something." the black haired girl said, giving her a reassuring side hug, "if they don't believe you, that's their problem. i would tell everyone important that something might happen, especially franco." she finished, making adena nod firmly.

"i'll make a group chat of everyone i even remotely care about and tell mom and dad tonight."
