WHEN ADENA AWOKE THE NEXT DAY, she had been bombarded. yes, she was quite 'tiktok famous', but it had never blown up like this.

she rubbed her eyes and looked at the number again, the single picture she had posted of the mystery man had five million views and people were commenting like crazy.

as she read the top liked comments, adena found out who he was. well, it was hard to miss really. the boy had been tagged countless times and there were about forty thousand comments of just his name. franco colapinto.

out of curiosity, adena pressed on his username from one of the comments that tagged him. it was definitely the same guy, and now she knew why so many people also knew him.

a race car driver. who had literally been announced f-one driver twenty minutes before she woke up. oh shit. she clicked off of his profile in shock. then, one particular comment caught her eye.

as a blush crept up her cheeks, she grinned. just then, another notification rolled in. it was alessia, asking her if she was awake in all caps. adena replied with a simple 'yes' and not even five seconds later, she heard footsteps running down the hall.

alessia —practically— launched herself through the door, running up to her bed and jumping on it. "your tiktok babe..." she trailed off, smirking at the greek girl.

adena's blush hadn't faded, actually, it became worse. "he saw it." she confessed, making alessia gasp. "wait, really?! what did he say?" the italian girl immediately questioned.

the younger girl turned her phone screen around so the other girl could see. "he's flirting with you. he wants you sooooo bad, dee." alessia said in a sing-song voice, giving adena a smirk.

"i'm gonna play it cool." adena took a deep breath, forcing the blush off of her cheeks. she clicked franco's comment and typed out a 'yeah really' before quickly hitting the send button.

she threw her phone on the bed before looking at alessia, who had the biggest grin known to man kind on her face. in an instant, the two started squealing like school girl. "this is like a cringey romance novel, oh my gosh!" alessia giggled.

as the girls quieted down, adena's phone buzzed. the greek girl grabbed it to look at the notification, "just mac." she groaned. "oh booooo!" alessia sighed in response, moving to sit next to her best friend on the bed.

just as adena sent the last text to ares, another tiktok notification came through, franco colapinto followed her. she quickly gave alessia next to her, a side eye and a tiny grin.

she clicked the notification and followed him back, "girl, what do i do now? do i hit him up?" adena questioned, making alessia shake her head, "no babe, wait for him to hit you up." the greek girl went to say something but eventually just shrugged, "good call."

the girls sat on the bed giggling and talking for about twenty minutes when calliope knocked and opened the door, "good morning sweethearts, me and helios need to talk to you about something over breakfast, come downstairs?" the woman smiled.

"we'll be right down, mumma." alessia said, smiling back at her at woman who had been taking care of her for about three years.

yes, alessia called calliope her mother and helios her father, for that matter. the first time she did, had been a shock to both of them. alessia had been drunk, as she and adena had just returned home from a party. when adena had gone to bed, alessia had to be put to bed, which helios and calliope had done. as the parents were about to leave, the italian girl had muttered the words, "night, mum. night, dad."

from that day forth, helios and calliope were her parents. even if they weren't by blood.

both adena and alessia put on more presentable clothes, just a shirt and underwear wasn't gonna cut it. they made their way down the ginormous staircase and joined their parents at the dining table.

as rich as the drakos' were, they didn't really have any personnel. just two women who came once a week to clean the home and a personal cook who they only really hired for fancy occasions. calliope loved cooking, and did so herself for the family every night.

"so, what did you wanna talk about?" adena questioned her parents, who both looked at each other and smiled at the two young women. "well, i got us vip passes for the upcoming monza formula one grand prix. ares' family is coming as well. would you girls like to come with?" helios explained, making adena almost spit out her apple juice.

"what's wrong sweetheart?" calliope immediately asked, worried for her daughter. "nothing! nothing. i was just surprised. isn't the grand prix of monza like this sunday?" she only knew because she'd seen some tiktoks about it.

"yes, actually. we'd fly on thursday." her father answered. adena made eye contact with alessia, who looked incredibly excited. "we'll come with." the greek girl said for both of them, as alessia grinned brightly.

the family continued eating their breakfast before all scattering to do their own thing.

adena and alessia decided that they wanted to go horse back riding, as they hadn't done it in a month, thanks to them going to argentina. the two girls changed into their riding gear and alessia drove them to the stables. it was about a ten minute drive, as it was a little more in-land.

originally, adena owned two horses. a friesian called zeus and a mustang called spirit ( yes, she named it after the movie ). when alessia moved in, the greek girl had taken her to the stables with her. that day, she had been riding spirit. when she came back into the stables, looking for alessia, who she eventually found, cuddling with zeus. yes, full blown cuddling. the horse was lying down and the italian girl was resting with her back against the animal.

from that day onwards, adena had always called zeus alessia's horse.
