NINETEEN | A KEEPER
CREEPERS SHOWDOWN

Tate and Julia quickly passed Lance who remained on the ground with blood spilling out of his mouth. "I quit, by the way," Tate scoffed before staring in horror at the six injured men with blood splattered around the elevator.

Tate ran into the room to see Luther was half naked with his pants ripped off. "Oh my god!" Tate screamed before covering Julia's eyes with her hand. "Shit," Luther muttered as he saw three agents running in.

"Fuck!" Tate yelled before pushing Julia under a desk to protect her. Diego tried throwing a potted plant toward one of the agents before it landed on the pillar instead, missing the woman.

"Fuck, Diego!" Tate muttered, before finding a stapler on the desk. "Hey!" Tate called out to the man before he turned around. Tate smacked the stapler towards his head as he screamed in pain before he collapsed on the ground.

"Damn!" Tate turned to see one of the agents had ripped off Diego's suit, revealing a very muscular body underneath. "Luther!" Diego called out to his brother before punching the agent in the throat.

"What?" He turned to Diego as he crushed a man's fist. Diego pointed to his half-naked self before Luther answered calmly. "Oh yeah, they do that," Luther answered about the rip-away suit.

Diego picked up one of the agents, tossing her against the window. "Really?" Tate asked in shock as she dodged one of the punches before tripping the agent, pushing her down to the ground. Luther continued to punch another agent as Julia snuck up from the desk.

"Eat shit, bitches!" Juliia jumped onto the desk before elbowing an agent in the chin. "Julia!" Tate turned to see her assistant defending one of the agents.

A man ran up with a glass of water, missing Diego barely as he dodged. A man smashed a chair against Luther's back.

"Fuck, there are so many people!" Tate screamed as she pulled an agent by the hair, smacking her head toward one of the lockers.

Luther threw an agent onto the desk, causing the desk to crash. Luther pushed one of the agents against the locker, smacking the guy's head.

Diego tried pushing the guy onto the desk before he got up and Diego kicked him down. Diego grabbed Tate's stapler and stapled the agent's hands onto the desk, the metal ring cutting through his flesh.

"That's one badass stapler!" Tate yelled before choking another woman with her own tie, pulling it tight so she couldn't breathe. "Another one to the face," Diego taunted before stapling a piece of paper to the agent's face.

"Luther!" Tate called out to her brother as she watched two more agents sprint into the room.

Diego grabbed a letter opener from the desk and aimed towards them. The blade landed in a man's chest as the woman ran towards Luther.

The woman tried kicking Luther but was stopped by Luther grabbing her foot. Another agent approached Diego and started distracting him by punching him in random directions. "Muay Thai, Diego!" Tate called out before she twisted the wrist of another agent, flipping her onto the desk.

Luther dragged the woman off the desk, pulling onto her neck. "A little help here, bud?" Diego asked Frank who was hiding under the desk. Frank grabbed the fire extinguisher and jammed it into the girl's neck.

Tate felt someone grabbed her by the waist, pushing her to the ground. The man Diego had previously stabbed pulled the knife out of his chest before he started swinging at Luther. Luther neatly dodged the hit, putting a folder against his area.

"Not the moneymaker," Luther glared at him before swinging up, thrusting the knife across the man's chin. A man who was frantically eating his dinner offered his fork to Luther. Luther immediately snatched it and stabbed the fork into the agent's head.

"Not who I was envisioning choking meโ€”" Tate coughed out as she struggled to fight back before Julia jumped onto the man, stabbing him with a pencil in his back. "Come on!" Julia lent out her hand as Tate pushed the man off her.

"Guys!" Tate called out to her brothers as Julia pulled up to her feet. "Luther!" Diego called out to his brother proudly after smashing a clock onto the man's head.

"Hey!" Luther cheered while Tate limped over to the duo with Julia steadying her.

Diego started spraying the fire extinguisher on the dead man, causing Tate to roll her eyes. "I need you two to stay focused," Tate reminded before Diego brushed past her, joining Luther in a handshake.

"We're back, baby!" Luther cackled as Diego fist-bumped him. Tate stared at them helplessly as she watched them move side to side before two groups of agents entered the room. "We should go," Luther stared at the agents marching towards them.

"Okay," Diego agreed as the four tried stumbling out of the basement. Diego grabbed Luther's and his jacket while Julia held onto Tate's shoulder.

"This way," Tate pointed towards the exit. "It's too late. Nothing will stop the cleanse," Lance warned before Tate kicked him one last time, causing Lance to spit more blood.

Tate sat in the passenger seat while Luther and Diego sat in the backseat. "We gave 'em hell back there, didn't we?" Diego grinned proudly as Julia pulled out of the car park.

"Yeah, just like the good old days, huh?" Luther smiled at the teamwork the three shared before nudging Diego. "Better than old days," Diego nudged his brother back as Tate stared ahead at the oncoming road.

"Man, we took on the CIA and we won, my friend," Diego said before Tate sighed. "Thank you for driving us to Diego's," Tate looked over to her assistant.

"All in my job description," Julia smiled at her boss. "I'm so ashamed I even wanted to work there. It's like I've been sleepwalking through my own life," Diego said, staring out the window.

"Meanwhile, I'm married to the hottest, smartest," Diego stayed silent, acknowledging Luther and Tate's strange reaction. "Most psychotic chick on the planet," Diego smiled proudly.

"And I'm an aging stripper living alone in a condemned building," Luther said, causing Tate to turn around at him.

"No, whoa. Hey," Diego stopped Luther's self-deprecating. "When I was playing secret agent, who sniffed out a global conspiracy?" Diego asked rhetorically. "Ah, I got lucky," Luther shook his head shyly. "Lucky?" Tate asked before she scoffed.

"Five and I couldn't do that, and we've been working there for years," Tate recalled their foolish mistake. "You got a big fat win," Diego poked Luther's chest playfully. "And no one can take that away from you," Diego encouraged before Tate smiled.

"I'm proud of you two, I hope you know that," Tate smiled softly before leaning back on the leather seat. "Huh," Luther sighed at the compliment as Julia pulled onto Diego's driveaway.
