"WHO ARE YOU?"

Y/N's brows shot up. "What?" She couldn't believe what she heard. Takemichi came rushing into the room and yanked Y/N out of the room. "What th-"

"Y/N!! Listen to me! The doctors said that he is still under the effects of anesthesia so talking to him about anything important will be pointless because he will act pretty much like he is drunk. He most probably doesn't know who he is right now."

Y/N smacked Takemichi's arm "You should've told me earlier about this!!!! I freaking got a heart attack a second ago!!"

"But I tri-"

She again didn't listen to him entered the room slowly. Not wanting to surprise Mikey. "My Taiyaki swam away in the ocean..." Mikey said. "I need it back!!" He pouted as he crossed his arms. His actions made Y/N laugh as she walked closer to his bed.

He glanced at her and his eyes widened. "Woah!! You are so pretty..."

Those words made her feel the heat in her face. "What's your name? I want to know it because you are the most beautiful person I have ever seen..."

WHAT DID HE JUST SAY?! I-

Mikey turned his face to the other side and huffed "But my girlfriend is prettier so you have no chance with me!!"

"G-girlfriend?" Y/N asked.

He gave her a nod with a huge smile on his face "Yup!!! And I love her so much. She is an angel who dropped from heaven just for me. Wonder if it hurt her when she dropped...? Anyways... She is the best!!"

Y/N shifted a little in her place as she glanced at Sumire who looked away.  "What's her name?" Y/N asked.

"Her name... Why? You wanna fight her and show that you are supreme?" Mikey asked which made Y/N laugh and mentally groan.

Mikey... Why are you like this? Just tell me the god damn name!!!

"My girlfriend is super duper strong!! She can take down at least 50 men all by herself. But I've never seen her go all out in a fight and isn't required because she has me!! Why will she have to fight when I am with her. I'll protect her. You can fight her if you want to end up in a hospital."

"I don't want to fight her."

"Even if she loses in a fight with you... She'll still be the number one for me."

"I just want to know her name..."

"Her name is... Y/N!!" The way Mikey smiled made Y/N skip a heartbeat. He looked really cute with a huge smile and open hair.

"L/N Y/N?" She asked and Mikey nodded. "Yup! You got that right. MY Y/N is the best."

My Y/N? If I stay here one more second, smoke will start coming out of me...

"Once we are old enough, I'll ask her to marry."

I am going... Mikey stop it-

Sanzu snickered at Mikey's words to which Y/N glared. She coughed and looked away.

"What if she rejects you?" She asked.

Mikey frowned "Why would she? I know she loves me too. And if she does reject me then I'll ask her out again. And I'll keep asking her until she agrees. She is the only person I wanna be with."

Y/N turned around and was about to leave the room but was stopped by Mikey's words. "Miss. Pretty lady, if you find Y/N... Tell her that I miss her. She is being a brat and doesn't come to see me!!"

Y/N was sitting in the waiting for about three hours and all she thought about was Mikey and things he said about her. "Y/N... I need to go, can you sit in the room? Someone needs to be in the room just in case something unexpected happens." Sanzu said and Y/N walked into the room.

Mikey was sound asleep, not making any movements. The room was really warm... Bright sunlight coming from the windows and cold breezes lifting the curtains in the air. She walked closer to him and heard his soft snores.

Everything felt peaceful...

She looked at him and smiled as she leaned closer to his face. She brought her finger closer to his face and poked his cheek. He looked very cute and it made her chuckle. She pinched his cheek lightly not wanting to wake him up.

She cupped his cheeks and caressed them. "Y/N, stop playing with my face..." He said and slowly opened his eyes. He knew that she was playing with his cheeks but had no idea about how close she was to him. Mikey flustered as he turned his face away and Y/N pulled herself away from him.

Mikey got up and sat as he rubbed the side of his neck trying to figure out what to say. Everything became awkward. She was also trying to find words.

"How are you?"

"How are you?"

Both of them asked in sync. "Ah- don't worry about me. Tell me about yourself. You are the one who is in a hospital bed right now."

"Yeah right... I am feeling better right now."

"That's nice. Recover quickly..."

"Will it matter to you?"

"Of course it will!! Are you stupid?"

Mikey chuckled "It's nice to hear that."

"I read your letter."

Mikey's eyes widened "You did what?"

"Read your letter?"

Mikey grabbed his pillow and smashed his face in it as he let out a scream. "Why did you read it?! That's so embarrassing!! Oh my god. I wrote that years ago!! That was the only thing I didn't want to happen!! I was just emotional at that time and everything went with the flow..."

Y/N laughed as she sat beside him. "Don't worry... I liked your letter. To be honest, it made me cry."

"It did?" He asked as if he wanted it to happen.

"Yes... I felt really bad you know."

"Wait- what? I didn't want that to happen..." He said.

"The timing when I found the letter was bad. It was after I fought you... Maybe if I found it earlier, I wouldn't have done that. You were just trying to save me and I got angry over nothing."

Mikey sighed "Y/N, we have a lot to catch up on..."

The awkward atmosphere was no more.

"Mikey first of all, Takemichi came back from the future... To save you because to save everyone's else's happiness, you sacrificed yours. You were in a very miserable condition, leading a gang named Bonten which was the biggest criminal organization."

"So I succeeded in saving everyone? Why did he come back?! I did sense something in my hand weeks ago and it probably because of Takemichi's time leap."

"You weren't happy with your life so you can't say that you succeeded!! How could you do that?! Are you dumb?"

"Where were you in the future?"

"I- I went back to Canada..."

"I see... So we weren't together" he mumbled. "Did Mr Sano Manjirou say something?"

"No."

"But Mikey something unfortunate happened after he came back..." She was going to tell him about Draken.

"What?"

Y/N embraced Mikey in a tight hug "Dra-Draken died..." She sobbed. Mikey clenched the fabric of her top. "He tried saving Takemichi and ended up taking the bullets. It was the same bastard who shot you..."

"Y/N... You are not joking right?" His voice was a bit shaky. "No..."

She felt Mikey wrap his arms around her and bury his face in the crook of her neck. "I know that it's hard to accept but Mikey that's the truth... Don't get angry at Takemichi for this ok? It was no one's fault."

"Hmm..."

She tapped his back "Calm down..."

"What happened to those who killed him?!" He asked.

"Sanzu took care of them..."

"I see"

"MIKEY!!" The door swung open revealing Mitsuya, Chifuyu, Peh-yan and Pah-chin. Y/N let go of Mikey but he didn't do the same. He held her more tightly. She was a bit embarrassed.

"Umm... Mikey?" Mitsuya spoke up but he still wasn't letting Y/N go. "Guys... Can you help me?"

"Sure..." Mitsuya replied and pulled Y/N out of Mikey's grasp. "We heard everything that happened!!" Peh-yan shouted. "About you and Draken..." Chifuyu stated.

"I'll be back in a few minutes..." Y/N said exited the room leaving the boys alone.

She wanted to buy some fruits for Mikey so she headed to the cafeteria but the cafeteria was a mess.

"I told you I don't want that!! Give me the peach flavour!!" A boy shouted and he looked a bit familiar from the back to Y/N. "Yup this is right!! Humph! You guys don't even listen to the patients well!!" The boy complained and turned around.

Y/N's eyes widened. "Kai?"

"Y/N..."

"How did you end up here?" She asked as she glanced at his outfit. Kai smiled and raised his right arm which had a plaster around it. "The smaller Haitani broke it."

"Did you lose? You aren't hurt right?" She asked while walking towards him to check. "Nope! How can I lose? I am strong!! They were no match for me..."

"That's great!"

"But... I saw what happened to Mikey. Is he also admitted to this hospital? Because I think I saw some Kanto Manji members..."

"Yes, he is."

"I see, then you must want to go to him and here I am... A nobody... Who is blocking your path..."

Y/N smacked his left arm "Who said you are a nobody? We are friends so don't talk like that!!"

"Hmm kay"

"Also... He has some of his friends with him so we can talk and then I'll  help you to your room."

"Help? I don't want any help..."

Y/N raised an eyebrow as she crossed her arms. "Is that so? Then try opening that juice bottle."

Kai looked at his hands dumbfoundedly and laughed "Looks like, I do need a bit of help..."
