KAI ROLLED UP HIS SLEEVES,

And brought his hands up in defence as he glared at Ran and Rindou.  Ran charged towards him with his baton and an evil grin on his face, trying to strick Kai's face but was stopped. Kai held and baton and punched Ran across his face. A single punch was enough to make him bleed.

Kai had the upper hand here for knowing about the Haitani brothers more than what they knew about him. Kai was unknown to the brothers until they were sent to the reform school after the Tenjiku vs Toman fight. But for Kai, the Haitani brothers was a famous name. He knew all about their fighting style so coming up with a counterattack was a piece of cake.

Seeing his brother bleed with just a punch, filled Rindou with rage. Kai saw him with the corner of his eye and just when Rindou was about to attack, Kai grabbed Ran's arm and spun him in Rindou's direction, colliding both of them. The collision made Rindou fall and Ran stumbled.

Kai's father was a professional boxer in his prime so he passed down his moves to Kai. No wonder his punches are strong enough to make someone bleed.

"You bastard-" Ran cursed under his breath and kicked Kai in the gut. Kai groaned but didn't take much time before coming back in his form. Even a second of weakness will turn the fight in the brothers' favour.

"You guys are taking too much time. I think it's time to get serious." Kai smirked.

"Didn't Kanto Manji join the battle after knowing that Draken died?!" Y/N asked. "No. Mikey said that he had a bad feeling about something so he lead everyone here. He doesn't have any idea about Draken!" Sumire replied as she placed her hand over her mouth.

Y/N ran her fingers through her hair. "I need to tell him" She mumbled. "Wait Wait... Y/N..."

"What?"

"You are saying that you will tell him all about it?"

"Yes!"

"Don't do it... If he finds out that Draken is dead, he'll feel more broken from the inside. I know I agreed that you can go to him but if that's what you are going to talk about then I assume that I'll have to try to stop you again."

Y/N frowned and walked closer to her, grabbing Sumire by her collar. "You think that hiding the truth from him is the right thing to do? That's probably the worst thing!!"

"Y/N, he'll get a huge breakdown... You know that Draken was a close friend of his. He'll be hurt."

"Do you think that he is doing well right now?! Don't you look at him?! He is already engulfed in darkness. He lost both friends and family and the Mikey he is right now is the result of all that. Also, he'll eventually come to know about Draken. He needs to know, it's his right to know."

"I know you are right but now is not the time... Y/N, things will get bloody and you know that too. No one will be able to stop him."

"I will do it. I will stop him!! I won't let him do anything. Sumire, try to understand. Just imagine how you would feel if you got to know about a close friend who died a few days ago and you had no idea about it. It'll make you feel sadder."

Y/N sighed "You are worrying about things getting bloody? Why don't you take a look around yourself? Everyone fought to the point where they can't even stand. And, you can't stop me so just give up."

Y/N left Sumire and made her way to Mikey. She remembers Takemichi talking about Mikey's dark impulse. The dark impulse was made after he lost many people who were close to him and she knew that telling him about Draken might make it worse but hiding things will also do the same.

She felt nervous as she stood a few steps away from Mikey, looking at him with the same look he did. She took a deep breath and walked towards him at a fast pace. She held his shoulders and made him look straight in her eyes.

"Mikey..." She gulped. "I need you to calm down first and listen carefully to whatever I say."

"What is it?"

"First!! Stop with that tone. It's weird, I am not used to your cold voices. Second!! Stop glaring at me. It creeps me out. Third!! I am sorry for everything that I did and it made you feel sad! Like, really really sorry."

Y/N come to the point! Bitch!

"I have a plan to get our ranks up in Rokuhara." Three boys hiding in an alley were looking at the huge war while discussing a plan. "Stop with your plans. The last time you planned to kill Takemichi it failed and Draken ended up dying!" One of them said.

"At least let him tell us about the plan."

"Yeah! Just listen to me. I am sure this will work." He took out a pistol from his pocket and loaded bullets in it. "What are planning to do?"

The boy let out an evil laugh "Mikey has been really inactive in this fight. Look at him, standing there like he is the boss. These bullets will go right inside his body!!"

"Are you kidding me?! Do you see that girl? That's Y/N, she used to be the second leader of Toman and she is standing there with him. I am sure if you do something to Mikey, she'll kill you. When we were small, I bad-mouthed Toman for fun, she came hunting me down and the rest is history. I couldn't walk for a week. Also, Kanto Manji won't let it slide."

"But at least Mikey will die... And then it's just Rokuhara Tandai that'll rule!!" He laughed and ran towards Mikey while the other two stayed behind not wanting to risk their lives just for a gang.

"Mikey, Dra-" Before the H/C female could finish her words, everything suddenly stopped after the gunshot echoed among the gang members who were fighting as if their lives were dependent on it. Y/N's heartstrings tugged as she saw Mikey body fall over her shoulder. Her arms wrapped themselves around his body, preventing it from touching the hard surface. Y/N's lips were trembling as she removed her shaky hand from the bullet wound that pierced his body...

Everything happened so suddenly that she couldn't process it. What happened just now? The blood on her hand made her heart drop in her stomach.

Everyone turned their heads in the sound's direction. Kai was done handling the Haitani brothers and was caressing his broken arm. Rindou sure gave him a hard time but he won eventually. The gunshot was a random sound. He saw Y/N standing afar with Mikey in her arms.

Senju who was done fighting South looked up to them with shocked expressions.

Sumire felt her heart crack as she ran towards them with tears in her eyes. Everything was moving in slow motion for Y/N, her legs felt weak and she fell on the ground with Mikey. Her body wouldn't stop shaking. "M...Mikey..." She said in her shaky voice but he didn't respond which made her anxious. She looked at his face, and placed gentle slaps "Mikey!!" She cried. "Call the fucking ambulance!!!" She shouted on top of her lungs.

Kokonoi who was about to go and chase the person who shot Mikey, stopped and quickly called the ambulance. "Ah- Hello? Please make it quick, a person has been shot. We are at xxx amusement park!!"

"Mikey, please... Don't die. I-"

"MIKEY!!" Sumire let out a cry as she sat beside him. Takemichi, Senju, Kai and others also made their way to Mikey. Y/N burst into tears as she hugged him. She didn't want him to die.

"Y...Y/N?" Mikey mumbled in a really low voice which gave a ray of hope to Y/N. What worried Y/N the most was the area where the bullet was shot. It was really close to the heart. "Yes?" She asked but didn't get a response from him. 

Memories of her moments with Mikey flashed in her mind which made her scream. I don't want these flashbacks!! He isn't dead!! He'll survive.

The ambulance arrived and quickly brought out a stretcher. "He still has pulses, do it quickly!" One of the nurses informed as the others came and helped Mikey inside in the ambulance. Y/N was the one who tagged along with him inside while the others quickly sat on their bikes and followed the ambulance.

"He hit a vital spot and it's also a police case. We are afraid that we can't start the operation before the police arrive at the hospital."

Those words made Y/N snap but she stayed calm. "We haven't arrived at the hospital yet. I am sure that you can start with the basics here. So please do that, I'll call the police!"

The doctors started with the procedure. "We are not sure if he'll survive. The pulses are going down slowly."

"You must save him!" She shouted slightly.

She took out her phone and called the person who can tamper with the information given to the police. Gang fights in the first place was a problem for police but they only arrest those who are at the scene when they arrive. And the ones who are the location right now is only Rokuhara Tandai.

"Hello, Sanzu!"

"Yes? How's Mikey? I swear to go if something happens to him, I'll slaughter all of Rokuhara!!!"

"The doctors say that it's a police case and that they won't proceed with the operation once we arrive at the hospital so we need the approval. So listen to what I say..." She glanced at the doctors and shifted towards the corner.

"Rokuhara is still at the scene, tell the police that you witnessed a gang fight and one person was shot with a gun. They'll automatically understand the situation and approve arresting all the Rokuhara members. After that is settled and once Mikey is in the operation room, we'll go and hunt down that bastard who shot Mikey. Sending the police after him will be a waste of time, I know you can do it faster and after that, you know what'll happen to him right?" Y/N whispered preventing the doctors from hearing her conversation.

"Roger that!! I can do anything for Mikey's safety!! Also, if the doctors talk too much and resist operating then tell me, I'll kill them too!!"

"Are you stupid?! Just do what I told you to. There's no need to kill the doctors."

Sanzu followed all of her words and the police approved further operation. Y/N watched the doctors take Mikey inside the room and close the door behind them. The light turned red, signalling that the operation has been started.

Y/N had to stay strong and believe that Mikey would stay alive. The others arrived shortly after. Takemichi who was already in shock because of Draken's death, burst into tears as he hugged Y/an and cried in the crook of her neck. "Y/N... I am so sorry. Nothing would've happened if I didn't return. Draken would've been alive and Mikey too!! I am so sorry, everything is happening because of me!!"

Y/N tapped his back "Takemichi, don't blame yourself. Nothing happened because of you. You are the hero, who tried to save everyone. You put so much burden on your shoulders. If you wanted you could've left everything and married Hina to live a happy life because that was your goal but you didn't do that and came back to save Mikey. You are amazing!! Don't blame yourself ever again."

She broke the hug "Now, stay here and keep giving me information about whatever happens here. I have something to take care of."

Takemichi wanted to ask where she was going but the look on her face was so terrifying that words didn't leave his mouth.

She walked out of the hospital and saw Sanzu standing in the dark. He handed her a helmet along with a metal rod and led the way to his bike.

"Time to beat those fuckers up!"
