Y/N TRIED TO STAY CALM,

for Kai, for herself, and for everyone. She was tied to a chair, unable to move her hands or her legs. Her face was covered in bruises from the baton and blood that had dried up as time passed. She finally understood what South meant by 'be the bait to the fish.' He wanted to bring down both Brahman and Mikey through her.

If it was her old self, she would've tried her best to run free but now things are different. She isn't some superhuman who can take down a whole gang all by herself. Her younger self was just reckless and would jump in fights but now she is well aware of the consequences that take place after. Her friends were an escape from her responsibilities. And slowly she lost them, one by one. During her stay in Canada, she wondered if things would've been better if she used her brain if she didn't make stupid decisions.

In the end... she only saved herself from arriving at the gate of death and no one else. She made it her goal to save everyone with Takemichi but nothing went as planned. But, now she doesn't want to fail.

When she was alone, wandering off, she met someone whom she could call her friend. Kai. And looking at him sitting in front of her, tied to a chair with bigger wounds than hers, made her heart crack. Kai was just an unknown who got dragged into this because of her. She felt guilty, about everything.

For the first time... She wanted someone to save her. She has always been the person, others could lean on but now she needed someone she could lean on. She could ask for help.

She glanced over to her right, towards the gang members who were busy chatting among themselves. Her eyes met South's who gave her a smug look "What are you looking at? Damn! that look. I told you to call Mikey, didn't I? Or do you want me to send one of your body parts as a message? I'll kill both you and Mikey today then I'll be at the top right? Isn't that what you said? The king still remains... Then I'll take down Brahman, the precious gang you joined..."

Y/N huffed as she threw her head back and looked at the ceiling "How many times do I have to tell you? I don't have any contacts with Mikey so you aren't getting anywhere with this. Just a few hours ago, you wanted me to join your gang, and now you are taking me as a hostage, beating and what not. Is that how to recruit new members?"

South laughed "No, you are just one of those who don't follow my orders. I am being generous here. Things would've been worse otherwise."

Y/N stayed silent after that, thinking of some ways in which she could save herself and Kai. Her mind wandered in thousand directions. She wondered if Draken saw her message or not. But, little did she know that... On the other side, Draken got caught up with some Rokuhara members.

"DIE HANAGAKI!!" The guy dressed in a black hoodie shouted as he fired the bullets at Takemichi. Takemichi closed his eyes and hugged Senju in a protective manner and waited for the bullets to pierce him but to his surprise, nothing happened. He turned around and saw and familiar figure.

"You good, Takemichi?"

Slight tears formed in the corner of his eyes as he called out the person's name "D- Draken!!"

The gunshot noise caused quite an uproar in the amusement park. People hurriedly ran out, not wanting to get caught up in any sort of life and death situation. The four Rokuhara members groaned as they saw Draken. The power difference between the four of them and Draken was huge and they were aware of this fact. Staying longer would've resulted in them ending up in hospitals, so like any other person, they ran away.

"Thank you so much Draken" Takemichi thanked him. "Sure" Draken replied in a low voice as he walked over to the gun and kicked it.

"They got the nerve to attack with such dangerous weapons." Draken frowned.

Takemichi shifted his attention to the white-haired female "Senju!! Are you hurt anywhere?" He asked.

"A-Ah...Nope," She replied.

"But... Why are you here, Draken?"

"Inupi heard it somewhere, that there were people planning to attack you tonight and that they were heading over here, to the amusement park," Draken informed.

Takemichi glanced over to the direction where Rokuhara members ran "Those guys... were really trying to kill me, huh..." He mumbled.

"They're Rokuhara's kids." A grin formed on Draken's face "Come on, you gotta know that you bear a high title around here. Those dudes were sure to shit their pants when they heard someone like you joined Brahman instead."

"I wonder what'll happen next..."

"Maybe Mikey saw this coming."

"Draken, let's keep it between us, but... Just now, I was able to foresee the future."

Draken's eyes widened at the sudden confession. "In that future, I saw Senju die protecting me. I've prevented that terrible outcome. It's all thanks to you Draken. We've successfully changed one future!"

Draken smiled "Is that so... Then I'm glad." But who knew that smile was hiding the pain that he was going through. Not even Takemichi or Senju could sense it. "Hey, I think we gotta go! We'll be in trouble if someone gets here!" Senju said.

"Ah, you're right!"

Senju and Takemichi started running but when Takemichi didn't notice Draken with them, he stopped and glanced over to him.

"Takemichi..." He spoke up. "Please tell this to Mikey... Don't cause too much trouble..."

"What are you talking about?!" The blonde male asked. The sudden change in tone and topic confused Takemichi. "You tell him yourse---"

Draken collapsed right before his eyes. "I've done all I could do..." He said as he laid on the ground, letting the rain pour over him. He was shot... with three bullets. The bullets his took in order to protect Takemichi. He was slowly losing the control over his body. His hearing senses were going down, his vision was getting blurry and was unable to move his body parts.

Takemichi was panicked but he tried to stay calm. He didn't want to believe that Draken was going to die. "Draken, Draken! I've called the ambulance. Senju is out to get you help." He smiled "It'll be alright, we'll definitely save you..." He said.

Not matter how much you try to fake your smile, your body reacts the opposite. Takemichi was trembling with fear.

"I see...I'm dying" Draken said as he lost more and more blood. That simple sentence was enough to make Takemichi cry. "What are you talking about!? Don't say something like that!! Everything will be okay by tomorrow! Because you're Draken right?!" He said in his shaky voice.

Draken glanced at him with a faint smile "Don't blame yourself for this, okay? This all happened not because you came back to the past, but because of my own will. You saved my life... Do I'll gladly put my life on the line for you."

He looked at the sky as rain poured over him. "Yo know when I was in elementary school... I lost so many fights. I messed with the older guys, you see. After losing, I'd crawl on the ground and stare at the sky like this. When I looked at the sky, everything else became so irrelevant to me. I found peace."

"I kinda understand how that feels..." Takemichi said.

"But Mikey... never seen this sky. It's such a shame that he never experienced defeat..."

A moment of silence engulfed them. Draken's voice became shaky as spoke the next few lines. "I really like that guy. The way he carried everything on his back and yet, somehow he was able to endure it all. All of that..."

He coughed out blood "I've been with him through all of that... That's why I wish I could've done something to help him..."

He had a few regrets. "Hey, Takemichi. Can I ask something lame of you?"

"Sure"

"Please take care of Mikey."

He recalled his memories with Toman as the doctors carried him carefully inside the ambulance. The memories that he won't be able to live again, nor see any of his friends again.

The doctors didn't take much time before declaring that Draken couldn't be saved...

Kai's eyes never left Y/N as he saw the female staring at the ground. Tears rolling down her cheeks. Her silent cries were enough to express the emotions she was feeling. The four Rokuhara members returned to the hideout and revealed the truth in front of everybody.

"Why did you have to go so far?!" South shouted as he hit them to the point where they couldn't move a finger.

"What do you mean you shot Draken?!" He asked. His words sounded as if he cared and everything that happened was a sad tragedy but his true colors came out that very moment "You did a nice job..."

Y/N glared at South after the words reached her ears. She gritted her teeth "I'll fucking kill you all..." She mumbled as a tear dropped on the floor.

"Y/N don't worry about it. We'll change everything and then once again we'll continue living just like old times. Happy and carefree."

She recalled Draken's words. Once again she failed in saving one of her friends... Even though it wasn't her fault to begin with, she couldn't help but feel guilty about it.

"Y/N... Isn't this a lottery? Draken is dead that means an all-out war will begin and I have you, so victory will surely come to me. I wonder how Mikey will react... Draken was his really close friend right?"

"He'll kill you if he finds out that it was your underlings who killed Draken. And once I am free, I'll make sure that you rot in hell!!!" She shouted.

"Woah Woah!! Getting all hyped up, aren't we? Just shut up!! It's time to go to Draken's requiem." He smirked as the tension between him and Y/N grew more and more. She clenched her fist and stiffened her jaw.

The whole gang left the hideout, taking Kai and Y/N along with them. The Haitani brothers were given the job to watch them but Y/N's aura was scaring them. She wouldn't say a word nor make any sound. It was as if they were carrying a dead body with them but the difference was that she was breathing. Her hair was soaked, bruises all over her face, and puffy eyes. Her hands were still tied as Rindou held her arm firmly, preventing her to run away. 

"Oi Oi, getting kinda lively here, eh?" South spoke up as he walked closer to Brahman's president and vice president. He spread his arms with a huge grin on his face "We have arrived just in time, didn't we? To Draken's requiem!"

"Let's start the Armageddon!" 

Y/N glanced over to Kai who was under Ran's supervision, signaling him to free her hands. Ran and Rindou walked a bit forward leaving Y/N and Kai behind them which was exactly what she wanted. A small chance to free herself. They stepped closer to each other and Y/N put forward her hands for Kai to untie them. 

"Bring it on!! Let's settle this!!" Takeomi shouted. 

Kai finally managed to untie her hands which formed a smile on his face. "Quick! I need to untie your hands too." She said but he was taken aback by her tone. She sounded dead... He has only seen her being happy and joyful but what he was seeing right now was completely different. She untied his hands threw the ropes aside. 

A familiar sound was heard... Sound like a bike but not any other bike. A bike that belonged to someone close to her. Her head turned in the direction of the sound as a small smile crept on her face when she saw the figure riding the bike coming closer and closer. 

It's... Mikey.
