DAY-7

THE SKY WAS COVERED WITH

dark clouds. I walked down the streets as the rain poured over me. I opened my umbrella and continued walking to my destination. I didn't sleep well last night, the thoughts of Toman gets destroyed , Mikey dying kept me awake.

Even though I knew that Mikey doesn't die in future, it still bothered me. My own death bothered me. Will anything change if I know that going to reform school will be a reason to my death. Will I be able to prevent myself from killing people? I had many questions and I wanted Takemichi to go back in future and find the answers to them.

I reached my destination, I came to visit Shinichiro's grave. I don't know why but I felt like it. It wasn't his death anniversary , so I didn't expect anyone to be there but I saw Mikey, Draken , Takemichi and Chifuyu.

"You guys.." I muttered loud enough for them to hear. Mikey was sitting infront of grave while the others stood behind him. "Y/N, why are you here?" Mikey asked. "Who knows...." I looked up in the sky, "I just felt like coming here"

"By the way Mikey, you will catch a cold if you keep sitting there. You are all wet" I said as I put my umbrella over him and let the rain fall upon me. It was refreshing for some reason. "Shinichiro was a really nice guy" Draken said. "Yeah he was." I mumbled.

What do I do Shinichiro?

-FLASHBACK-

"Old man look Shinichiro is skipping Dojo classes" I said as I watched Shinichiro sneak out. "Y/N why would you do that" he said and ran away. I was 8 years old when my mom enrolled me into dojo class because I insisted and because she and dad were usually busy with work.

My mom would drop me in the class after school and pick me up at 8pm. So I would spend most of my time with the Sano family. That's how I met Mikey, Baji and everyone.

"Shinichiro, I wanna ride with you on the bike!!" I said as I jumped on his back , "Y/N no , I am busy right now." He replied , "If you don't take me out then I am going to tell old man that you lie about practicing dojo afterwards"

"Wait , how do you know about that?" He asked.

"I know everything" I smirked.

He ended up taking me out on his bike. I loved how the wind hit me on my face. I would threaten him everyday so that I could sit on his bike and he would take me out.

I stopped going to dojo when I was 12 because I had to help mom look after my siblings. But I would still meet up with them regularly , that was until the day Shinichiro died. I still miss him, he was like a big brother to me. Being the older sibling is hard, your siblings depend upon you and that's how I felt with Shinichiro. I could depend on him.

"Y/N?" "Y/N?" I came out of the thoughts that were going on inside my head. I looked over to Mikey, who was calling me. "Come with me. Let's grab something to eat"

"Sorry, Mikey but I have something to talk about with Takemichi" I said but before I faced Takemichi I saw Mikey getting sad. His expression was a mixture of sadness and anger.

"Takemichi, can I have a moment with you?" I asked and he nodded. Chifuyu took the hint and walked away from us.

"What is it Y/N?"

"Go back in future and find out what happened in the fight between Toman and Valhalla. Also , find out who all dies within the span of 12 years and get some information on Kisaki"

"I will do it but Y/N... you are worried about everything and everyone but not about yourself."

I smiled , "That's because Toman is precious to me"

"Also, Y/N I think Mikey is acting a bit off. I don't know if you've noticed or not but he is trying to talk to since three days and you keep shuting him down"

Wait- am I doing that? Yeah, Mikey's expressions. Stupid Y/N

"I will talk to him but I am busy you see. I have some work to get done"

"Hmm, but make sure you do it quick. He needs you" Takemichi said and left.

I closed my umbrella because the rain stopped. I had to do some grocery shopping and buy some project materials for Satoshi.

After a hour I was done shopping and was heading towards my house but for the past 10 minutes I've been feeling as if someone was following me. I stopped and turned around but I didn't see anyone. It felt weird because I had a strong feeling of being followed.

I tried to ignore it and kept walking to my house. I rang the bell and waited for Satoshi to open it. "You are finally back. I have to do my project!!" He screeched and took the stuff from my hand. "Satoshi , bring me the baseball bat" I whispered in his ear. He didn't question me anything and followed my orders because I was serious.

He handed me the bat , "go inside and lock the door" I ordered as I walked over to the spot where I felt something suspicious but no one was there.

I swear I felt someone following me. Am I hallucinating? I must be tired.

I went inside my house and locked the door carefully.

"You guys wanna eat right now?" I asked my siblings , "No" they answered. I went to my room and jumped on my bed. "I should probably call Mikey" I mumbled and dialled his number.

Ring ring ring

"The person you are trying to call is unable to pick up"

I dialled again but it was the same. He wasn't picking up.

Is he angry?

I tried calling once again and this time he picked it up , "Hello?" He said. "Mikey, what did you want to talk about?" I asked.

"*Cough* *Cough*"

"Are you sick?"

"Yes , a little bit."

"I told you not to sit in rain! Look now you are sick!!" I scolded, "have you taken medicine?"

"No , not yet. There's no one home and it's raining again"

"Wait, I am coming at your place with medicines." I said and cut the call.

I quickly grabbed my umbrella and some money for the medicines. "Satoshi lock the door properly, I'll be back." I quickly bought some medicines from the medical shop and ran to his house because I didn't wanna waste time.

Why am I so worried?

I rang the bell as I panted and tried to catch my breath. He opened the door , his face was super red , I touched his forehead and it was pretty hot , "Dummy! Why would you get wet in the rain? You catch cold easily"

"Did you run here?" He asked. "That doesn't matter! Your fever will rise." I locked the front door and took him to his bedroom. "Lay down here, I'll bring some water for you to take the medicines."

I went to the kitchen and filled a glass of water. I came back to his room and made him take the medicines. "Y/N thanks for coming"

"Of course I had to come!"

"But why? Don't you have important stuff to do?" He asked. "What do you mean why? You are important to me"

"Now sleep, I'll go home once your fever is down" I said and tugged him to sleep. He fell asleep real quick. He looked so peaceful and cute while sleeping I couldn't take my eyes off him. I unintentionally touched his cheeks which made him moved a little. I flinched and took a step back.

I walked over to the bean bag and sat on it while I went through my phone. "Hello mom? When are coming home?"

"Sweety I will be there in 5 minutes"

"Oh you are off early? Anyways I am not home. I am with Manjirou, he is sick and no one's home. I'll be back once his fever is down."

"Aw , how did he get sick?"

"He let himself get wet in rain"

"Ok sweety, come back whenever you want."

"Bye" I said and cut the call. I didn't really have anything to do while Mikey was sleeping.

"Y/N, Y/N wake up" I woke up to someone shaking me. I opened my eyes and saw Mikey. "Mikey?" , "WAIT! YOUR FEVER!!" I shouted and touched his forehead. It wasn't hot as before which meant that his fever was down.

"Your fever is down but you still gotta stay in bed" I said and made him sit on his bed , "I can't believe I fell asleep"

Mikey chuckled, "It's fine. You looked cute"

"What-?" My cheeks turned red. I got flustered, "Since you are fine now. I should get going." I was about to walk away but he held my hand and stopped me , "Wait" he then placed my hand on his forehead, "I still have fever. You said you'll go back after I am fine. So stay"

His words were making me blush , "Wait- What?" He stood up and pulled me closer , "I am still sick. Take care of me"

Stop it!! AHH

"Why have you been avoiding me lately?"

"I haven't been avoiding you" I replied.

"Do you like Takemichi?" He asked without breaking any eye contact. I was stunned by his question , "no I don't"

"Then why did you shut me down when I wanted to talk to you? You always say that you have something to talk about with Takemichi"

"Mikey what are you-? Wait are you jealous of the fact that I talk to him and not to you?"

He turned red , "No I am not jealous!"

"Yes you are. You are literally blushing.", "It's just my fever!" I wiggled my eyebrows and smirked.

He hid his face , "Just don't get too close to him"

"Why~?" , "I- I don't like it"

"And why don't you like it?"

Before he could answer my question my phone rang , "Y/N come home!! I need some help in the project and how is Mikey nii-chan?" Satoshi shouted making me put the phone a bit far away from my ear.

"Satoshi you don't need to shout. Mikey is fine now so I am coming home."

"But Y/N, I am not fine" Mikey said , making a baby face , "Stay with me a little longer. I want you by my side"

I placed my hands in his cheeks , "I will call you once I am home ok?"

"Fine and thanks for coming over."
