WILLIE WAS WALKING BY THE LOCKER ROOM WHEN SHE HEARD SOMETHING THAT MADE HER STOP. They were all standing around, doing their normal things when Van Damme announced, "A bunch of famous chicks got their nude photos leaked."
"Hey, The Sun is calling it 'The Great A-wank-ening'," Sam sighed, shaking his head. Willie's eyes widened as she pulled out her phone to check the news. Those poor girls must be freaking out at that moment. The brunette woman stepped into the locker room so that she could sit down while she searched. She sat down on a bench beside where Roy was putting away his things, and he just nodded at her, acknowledging her presence. "What is the opposite of clever?"
"The Sun," they chorused.
A bunch of the guys started making some inappropriate and slightly misogynistic comments that the Carlisle woman really wished that she did not hear. Finally, Isaac spoke up, and she was really proud of what he said. "Oi, fuck that. We shouldn't be looking at that shit. It wasn't meant for us. It was their private property."
Cowburn spoke up next, rolling his eyes because apparently, just because someone took naked pictures and got hacked, that meant that the world deserved to see them. "Nah, bro. If you don't want your private pictures out there, just don't take naked pictures. Especially being famous."
"The only people to blame are the dickheads who steal your shit and put it online," Jamie cut him. He was right. People had a right to privacy with their phones. Willie had never taken naked photos for this very reason, but she thought that people that did take them had a right to not have them shared on the Internet. "That's why I delete all the photos on my phone. I swear down. Especially 'cause I'm famous."
"Hey, listen. I'm with Jamie on this one. Whenever I have a relationship end, I ask the girl to go through my phone, delete any photos, videos. Whatever she wants. I'm being serious. Uh, you know, one girl actually deleted Candy Crush. I was devastated, but I also understood," Sam explained to them.
Willie smiled up at him because that was a very kind thing to do. A lot of guys got really defensive when it came to their phones and what was on them, and she knew a lot of people that had exes that still had compromising photos of them. "That's very nice of you, Sam."
"Hey, hold on. Once someone sends you a photo, don't you own it?" Colin asked them.
Willie shook her head at him. Just because someone sends you a photo, it does not mean that you have permission to post it or do anything else with it. "People send photos that they want certain people to see at certain times. That doesn't give you the right to do anything with it without consent."
"Hmm, copyright law on private photography is quite murky," Jan Maas added.
Dani stood up and offered his opinion. "It's not about the law. It's about doing what is right. Like in Les MisΓ©rables." There were a couple of people that cheered him on fr that before they moved on to deleting photos off their phone. Alex had sent Willie some interesting photos that she had deleted once they broke up. So, she was pretty sure that she was all right. She checked everything just to make sure. Alex was a dick, but he did not deserve to have anything leaked.
"What if I took the photo?"
"You should delete it."
"What if it was a Christmas card?"
"Delete it, bro."
"What if it's artsy?"
Willie tilted her head at the man, and she wondered what he meant by that. She and Jamie seemed to be equally confused because he questioned. "What the fuck does that mean?"
"It's in black-and-white. You can't see anything," the other man explained, and the Carlisle woman really wondered how that picture was taken. She was pretty sure that she did not want to see it, though. So, she just went back to looking through her texts, photos, and emails.
"Delete it, mate."
"What if I'm in the photo?"
"Delete it."
"What if she's naked, but not sexual?"
The brunette was so confused because she never knew that men could have a naked picture of a woman and make it not sexual because they were just disgusting like that. Bumbercatch leaned over and asked, "What the fuck? What is she doing in it?"
"She's just defecating," he answered. There you go...
"No, no, no. I shouldn't have to delete my photos just because they might get stolen," Colin insisted, shaking his head. Willie just sighed, knowing that he probably had some pictures of Michaelon there that he did not want to get rid of. "It's my stuff. Don't touch it."
Wille had been too engrossed in the conversation and checking her photos to keep reading the news, which was why her eyes widened when Van Damme announced, "Whoa. Hey, guys, guys. This article says Keeley was one of the women who was hacked."
"Oh, my God," she breathed out, and she immediately went to her messages to text the Jones woman and see how she was doing. There was a moment of silence in the locker room, and everyone looked over at Roy who was grunting and putting his stuff away angrily. Finally, Isaac spoke up.
"Right. Everybody, take out your phones," he ordered, and he made sure that he saw everyone's phone in their hand. "Delete every single picture and video that you've ever been sent. Now! We're all targets for this shit. So delete everything. "Now!"
All of the guys seemed to be really emotional while they did that, and it was kind of freaking her out. She noticed Colin stand up and go outside, and she realized that he must not want the team to see the kinds of photos that he was deleting, more specifically, the people in the photos. Isaac watched him go, and about two seconds later, he was heading after him. Willie jumped to her feet and went after him. "Isaac."
"Colin. I wasn't playing," he said as he found the man sitting on a couch outside the locker room. He pointed at the phone in his hand that he was looking at. Willie joined them outside, and Colin shot her a panicked look. "I told you to delete that shit,."
"I will, man. Fuck off."
Then, the McAdoo man just snatched the phone from him. Willie tried to dive for it, but Isaac held it out of her reach. At that moment, she realized that it must seem like she was the one in the picture. "I said delete it right now."
"Isaacβ" she started, but it was too late. He had already looked at the screen. He stared at it for a moment before throwing the phone back at Colin and storming off.
The brunette looked at her best friend with an apologetic expression, and she sat down on the couch next to him. He put his head on her shoulder, but he still seemed to be in shock from what just happened. She waited for him to cry or something, but the tears never came.
They just sat there for a moment, trying to figure out everything that had just happened.

WILLIE FIRMLY BELIEVED THAT ICE CREAM WAS THE SOLUTION TO EVERYTHING. That was why she and Colin were sitting on her couch and shoveling some into their mouths while watching Legally Blonde. They were kind of half paying attention because the Hughes man was still freaking out about Isaac finding out that he was gay. "What if he never talks to me again?"
"He will. Of course, he will. He's Isaac," she reminded him. He and Isaac had been friends for years and years. If Isaac was going to stop being friends with him because of Colin being gay, then maybe he was not the friend that they thought he was. "He's probably just taking a minute to process it. He shouldn't need one, but he might."
"I can't lose him, Will. He's one of my best friends," he breathed out. Willie, Isaac, and Michael were all he had. He just recently gained Trent Crimm as a friend since they bonded over being gay and their struggles. That was four people. He needed those four people.
She sighed, shaking her head and putting her arm around him in a hug. She was not going to let ISaac leave him, even if she had to go and beat him up herself. "You're not going to lose him. He loves you. Colin, please just calm down. It'll all be okay. Sure, he should not have had to find out that way, and you shouldn't have had to tell him like that. But he'll get over it, and I'm sure you two will be back to being friends in no time."
"I hope so," he replied. There was a moment of silence between them, with Reese Witherspoon being the only one talking, before he spoke up again, remembering what caused the whole mess. "How's Keeley? Have you talked to her?"
"Yeah, I stopped by earlier today. She's doing all right, a bit embarrassed, but she's being really mature and strong about it," she answered. The leaked video did not seem to bother Keeley as much as it would other people, but she was still upset about it, like anyone would be.
He nodded, glad that she was not distraught about the video because it was not even that embarrassing. "That's good. And Jamie? Is he as much of a prick in bed as he is in real life?"
"Colin!" she scolded, grabbing a pillow from the couch beside her and hitting him on the shoulder with it while he laughed. She was shocked that he even asked her that. If she was being honest, Jamie was very generous in bed, but she was never going to share those details with Colin.
"Just asking!" he defended, holding his hands up in surrender. After a moment of them actually watching the movie, he decided that it was the perfect moment to inform her, "By the way, I slept with your friend while he was here."
Her jaw dropped and she sat up straight to look at him in complete and utter disbelief because there was no way that he would do that. "No, you didn't! Asher? I didn't think he was your type."
"He is surprisingly gentle," he informed her with a chuckle, knowing that having that knowledge would get on her nerves.
"Shut up! I do not need to know this!"
