prologue
The Samcro clubhouse was loud and crowded, but it wasn't the usual kind of party tonight. Tonight's party was all about SAMCRO's princess.
Naomi Teller forced a smile on her face as she sat on her boyfriend's lap, thanking everyone for coming as they congratulated her for graduating. It should of felt like a joyful celebration for the blonde, but of course it wasn't.
Nothing about this party her mother had put together was what she wanted. She had tried—begged even for a quiet family party or even none at all because all of her friends were having parties she'd much rather go to, but Gemma Teller practically laughed in her daughter's face at the idea. Her daughter was graduating and going off to college of course they had to throw a party.
"Are you okay, babe?" Juice whispered into Naomi's ear with concern as he rubbed his hands down her sides.
The blonde nodded, smiling at him. Naomi and Juice were the Samcro picture perfect couple—at least she thought so. They had been together for two years so far. He had just started prospecting for the club when they first met and an instant connection formed. It sounded cheesy, but it was true. Juice was sweet and caring. Of course her older brother Jax threatened him if he ever broke her heart — the typical brother talk, but Naomi knew Juice would never break her heart.
"It's just hot in here." She explained while reaching for her glass of water on the table.
It was too hot, loud, and everyone was drunk except for her it seemed. Her mother was cuddled up with her stepfather in a corner somewhere, while Jax was at the bar downing shots with friends. A sigh left her lips as her blue eyes scanned the clubhouse. This was suppose to be her party, but that was just an excuse for everyone to party.
"I'm gonna get some air." She yelled over the loud music. "I'll be right back." The blonde said as she removed herself from Juice's lap.
"Want me to come with you?" He questioned as he started to stand up.
The young Teller woman shook her head as she gently pushed him back down on the couch. She needed some time to herself—to think. "It's okay. Stay here and hangout with everyone. I'll be a few minutes." She assured him with a smile, placing a kiss on his warm cheek.
A wide smile formed on Juice's face as he nodded at his girlfriend's words. He run a hand over the smooth skin of her bare leg before starting a conversation with Chibs.
Naomi started making her way towards the exit of th clubhouse, smiling at people on the way out before a loud voice stopped her in her track. A groan escaped her glossed lips as she turned around to see Clay Morrow standing with a smile on his face.
"Alright everyone shut up! I got a few words to say about my wonderful daughter, Naomi." Clay's gruff voice made the noisy clubhouse quiet down as everyone turned towards Naomi with smiles on their faces.
Stepdaughter. The blonde thought bitterly as she forced a smile on her face as she made her way towards the Samcro President.
Clay wrapped his arm around the blonde. It took everything in her not to push his heavy arm off of her shoulders, but her mother was looking at the both of them with such a proud smile on her face that the blonde Teller just stood there with a painful smile on her face.
"Naomi, I've known you since you were just a little baby. I'm not the only here who knows JT would be so proud of you just like I am. I was allowed the chance to help raise you and I've always been so proud of you. You're gonna make us all proud." Clay held his beer up as everyone cheered.
"Thanks, dad." The word 'dad' felt so bitter on her tongue, but he truly was the only dad she had known. Her real father had died when she was just a baby and it left her feeling empty.
"I love you, kiddo." Clay placed a kiss on the top of her head.
"I love you too." Her voice muffled at Gemma walked over and grabbed her into a big hug, holding her tightly against her.
"I'm so proud of you." Gemma had tears in her eyes at she held tightly onto her daughter. "You're going to do great things. I just don't want you to forget your family is here." The matriarch said with a slight edge in her tone.
Naomi refrained from rolling her eyes. Her mother was always using family as an excuse for the things she did. It was one of her best manipulation tactics, and it worked a lot. Not only on Naomi but on her older brother too.
"I know." Naomi nodded as Gemma finally released her from the tight embrace. "I'm gonna go get some air. It's hot in here." She had begun to feel a bit nauseous now and needed some cool air.
"Okay, baby." A worried look crossed Gemma's face for a moment before she quickly placed a smile on her face, placing a kiss on her daughter's cheek before returning to Clay's side.
Relieved to finally be away from her mother and Clay, Naomi finally made her way outside into the cool nighttime Charming air. A deep sigh left her lips as she ran a hand through her hair. It was overwhelming— all of it. The party, the fake smiling, everything. Naomi was happy to be leaving for college the only thing she would miss was Juice and the close bonds she had made with certain members of Samcro.
Naomi and Juice had promised each other they were going to work hard to keep their relationship going while she was away. They both knew long distance was going to be difficult especially with her being so far away, but they both wanted to stay together. They were in love.

Naomi had made her way back into the clubhouse after ten minutes. The fresh air had made her nausea go away and now she just wanted to find Juice and spend the rest of the night with him.
"Chibs, have you seen Juice?" The blonde questioned the older Scots man.
The older man shook his head. "Last I seen him lass he went back towards tha' dorms." He told the blonde with a smile.
"Thanks, Chibs." Naomi gave him a genuine smile before heading off towards the back of the clubhouse.
A nervous pit formed in her stomach as she walked past room after room until she stood in front of Juice's. She had something she needed to tell him. It had been on her mind all night—for days actually. She just couldn't find the right time.
"Juice." Naomi knocked on the door before opening it. "Juice, what the fuck?" Tears had already formed in her blue eyes as she stared at her boyfriend with a topless girl sitting on his lip.
"Naomi, it's not what it looks like." He quickly said as he removed his lips from the brunette's lips.
A scoff left her lips as she stared at her boyfriend with shock in her tearful eyes. "Oh really? That's the excuse you're gonna use?" Naomi shook her head as Juice pushed the brunette off of his lap and walked towards her.
"Don't fucking touch me." She warned as she put a hand up. "Why? Tell me why Juice?" The tears ran down her cheeks as she waited for his answer.
A sigh left his lips as he ran a hand over his mohawk. "You're leaving. I got scared that you'd find someone better and I don't know. I love you, Naomi, but we're young and long distance is hard."
"We haven't even tried it yet! You're such a fucking idiot. I hope it was worth it because I'll never take you back." Naomi promised as she exited the room, ignoring Juice as he called after her.
Naomi rushed out of the clubhouse, ignoring everyone on her way out. This was it. She was done with her life in Charming. Good fucking riddance.

okay so this is a very AU Mayans/SOA crossover. user24481975 Asked me if I'd be willing to write it and so shout out to them for the idea! This will have flashbacks in it and Emma Mackey will be Naomi's faceclaim for her teenage years.
