NOBODY HAD EVER REALLY WANTED HOLLIE MANNION. she was always seen as an inconvenience— conceived on accident by her dad Rupert in the stages of his rich playboy days ( at forty five) with a Spanish model Rupert didn't even know the name of ( and almost half his age )

Hollie was born to a man who didn't want her and a biological mother who walked out when she was barely four months old, back to her whatever party city she inhabited. back to the parties, back to the life where her daughter didn't and hadn't ever existed .

Rupert didn't care for his daughter, well beyond using her to construct a single dad facade that had women and press alike swooning after him. But when the doors closed and the cameras were turned off, the girl was shoved into the hands of some nanny and that was that. Despite the child's grovelling attempts at holding her fathers attention, he seemingly wanted nothing to do with her.

That was until Rebecca — the only of Rupert's numerous partners that the child approved of — who at the age of six Hollie found herself clinging too. Being the only person that wanted to spend time with the child who wasn't paid or seeking her father's attention, the girl soon adored the ground her stepmother walked on.

And that continued, for the next twenty years of Rebecca and Ruperts relationship and even after their divorce. Hollie now aged twenty two, an established model and worldwide 'it' girl changing her name to Welton and happily standing beside her mum as she stands as the new face of AFC Richmond.

although it is a task that doesn't come with ease, especially when Hollie is forced to spend time with AFC Richmond's star player — the selfish, the snobby, the narcissistic prick ( Hollie's words not mine).. Jamie Tartt.

A man who she's despised since the day she met him. A man who makes her stomach flutter with anger, who is all that she can ever think about. An anger all consuming.

But like they say, there's a fine line between loving and hating someone.
