"𝔑o, I am your father..." Arabella glanced up at the blond boy who was sitting behind her, his jaw dropped in surprise as he looked between Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker on the screen. Her grin grew wider, as Luke spluttered out something unintelligible, before looking down at Ellie and back at the screen.
Finally, he managed to get his words to work.
"Hold on...wait." Luke's brain seemed to be struggling to process what had just happened. Ellie chuckled, patting his cheek gently as Luke pulled her closer. "No way. Is Darth Vader Anakin?"
"You've just put that together? Ow! Sorry, sorry." Ellie chuckled as Luke flicked her, before going back to the movie. Luke shook his head, leaning forward to watch more carefully. Pulling the blanket tighter around her, she rubbed at her forehead before pressing a kiss to her boyfriend's cheek that was close to her. "Did you dad never say that at you once? I would do that if I had a son called Luke."
"That doesn't surprise me." Luke tensed. "But no. Never. My half-siblings might have done a couple of time, but I never got the reference until now. I understand it."
He grinned down at her, beaming as Ellie's smile grew wider. His grin was still one of the most beautiful things that she had ever seen.
"You have half-siblings?"
"Yeah." Luke nodded.
"How many?"
"Don't know." Ellie cocked an eyebrow. "There's a lot of us, so I never got to really keep count."
Luke shrugged, still paying little attention to her as he stared at the screen ahead of him, his jaw dropping as Jedi Luke fell off of the platform. Arabella turned in her blanket burrito to look up at the boy in confusion. She didn't know he had more family than the two sisters he had mentioned.
"Did he just fall to his death?"
"You'll have to wait and see in the next movie," He prodded her in the stomach, causing the girl to giggle hysterically until she finally managed to get him to stop. "No, he lives."
"Yeah, it would be weird for Luke to fall from there and die. He's a Jedi, so supposedly he has the mind power tricks not to do that..." Luke began to ramble on about Jedi and whether or not they would hypothetically be able to fall to their deaths. Arabella just smiled and curled further into her boyfriend's arms, perfectly content to listen to him ramble on and on about Star Wars theories, even if it wasn't her favorite film franchise.
They were nearing the end of The Empire Strikes Back, the fifth in their list of Star Wars films. Only one more was left. She had managed to get Luke hooked by the end of the second film, having found that he loved watching somewhat dystopian films in world's similar to their own, with people who had special powers. Anakin turning from golden boy to evil Sith had furthered Luke's love for the character, and the movies, so he was now completely invested in it (much like Arabella's own love for the Lord of the Rings franchise). Personally, Arabella didn't see the appeal of Anakin, but that might have been because she was too busy quoting Obi-Wan Kenobi lines at any given opportunity.
It provided her great joy.
"Anyway, what do you think?" Arabella looked up at Luke through tired eyes, before grinning, having only half-listened to what he was saying.
"He's not splat?" Luke snorted water out of his nose at her words, choking as Arabella groaned and kicked Luke off of the sofa. "Dude, my hair!"
"Did you just dude-zone me?" Luke replied from the floor, where he was rubbing his tailbone in pain. For a small girl, she packed a lot of power into her kicks. "We're dating!"
"For snorting water into my hair? Yes!" Luke rolled his eyes from the floor, before heaving himself back up and watching Arabella yawn once more. He had noticed it earlier in the movie, but was too invested in it to stop just then. Now, it had come to a perfect end.
"Tired?" She nodded, yawning like a cat as Luke smiled.
"Can you carry me?" Arabella was holding her arms up, pouting as her boyfriend grinned and stood. She knew how strong he was, and really couldn't be asked to walk the 5m to her bedroom.
"Anything for my favourite girl." Luke replied, picking her up with ease to carry her back to her bedroom. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders, burying her head into his neck as he hummed to himself. She was perfect.
He set her down in the bathroom, both of them grabbing toothbrushes to start to do their teeth in near silence. Arabella was sat on the counter, as Luke stood between her legs and laughed at her constant yawning, brushing her hair from her eyes.
"We can clean up in the morning?" Luke murmured, as Ellie flopped onto his shoulder, half-falling asleep.
"Please. The bed is calling for me." Ellie murmured, as Luke picked her up and set her gently on the bed. Ellie was already snuggling down under the thick covers, pulling the multitude of blankets tighter around her. Luke smiled at her, his heart beating rapidly even after dating her for a few months now.
Sliding in beside her, Luke nervously wrapped his arm around Ellie's waist. He was still getting used to being more open with his affection, not used to being able to do this.
"Night, Ellie." Luke pressed multiple kisses to the girl's head, squeezing her tightly. Ellie reached out for him, pulling him closer so that she could kiss his collar bones.
"Night Dude." Luke's tired eyes snapped opened, looking down at the curly hair of the small girl. She was grinning mischievously, her eyes still shut and Luke rolled his eyes before tugging at a curl.
"Seriously?"
"Shush, I'm sleeping." Arabella placed her finger to his lips, before patting his cheek and grinning as she buried her head into his neck.
"You're lucky you're beautiful, otherwise I wouldn't stand for this." Luke rolled his eyes, kissing her head and then her hand.

When Luke opened his eyes to the morning sunlight, he was surprised to find that Ellie was still passed out in his arms. Her curly hair was a mess on the pillow around her, her mouth open and Luke was sure that she was drooling on his shoulder.
But she was still the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.
Her arms tightened around his body, thumb tracing the scars that marred his chest even in her sleep. Luke grinned, pulling her closer to her body. Her eyes began to flutter open, yawning loudly, as she beamed up at Luke.
He grinned in response.
"Hello there." The peaceful moment was ruined at Ellie's surprisingly good British accent. Luke's smile dropped, as he glared down at her smaller form.
"It's too early in the morning for Obi-Wan quotes."
"The actual answer is General Kenobi."
"No."
"Please."
"No." Luke shook his head.
"Please, please, please." Ellie grabbed onto him, pressing kisses to his cheeks and jaw, wherever she could reach. "Please! Luke!"
"General Kenobi." Luke mocked, as Ellie rolled her eyes.
"In the voice." Luke sighed once more before complying.
"General Kenobi!"
Ellie grinned, before pressing a kiss to his lips as he pulled her on top of him, rubbing her back as she continued to grin.
"Thank you."
"This felt like bullying."
"Not bullying." Ellie kissed him again, running her hands through his blond hair as his hands settled on her waist. She traced his scar with a gentle finger, before brushing over the start of his stubble. "Just funny."
"Ah, I see." Luke nodded, as her curly hair seemed to curtain their faces from the outside world. He brushed it behind her ear, before smiling warmly. "Morning beautiful."
"Morning handsome." Ellie chuckled, as he pulled her closer, before sitting her up and pushing her back onto the bed. "No. Where are you going? Come back."
"As tempting as that is, I need to shower." Luke stretched like a cat, sitting on the edge of the bed. Ellie huffed, rubbing her hand up and down his back, tracing the outline of his scars. "How's my girl?"
"Wanting food." Ellie replied, as Luke grinned. He was wondering what whether the Fates were giving him another chance at happiness with Arabella, something he hadn't experienced in a long time.
He was waiting for a catch. There was always a catch.
"Want to go to the diner down the street and grab some food?" Ellie drew him out of his thoughts. "I can not be asked to cook or let you cook."
"We do need to clean." Luke reminded her as Ellie sighed and flopped back on the bed. Luke laughed, grabbing onto his clothes from his drawers in the home
"Later."
"I see." Luke rolled his eyes. "I'm showering now."
Ellie groaned again.
"I'll see you in a bit."
There was a non committal huff as Luke rolled his eyes. He knew as soon as he came out of the shower, she'd be fast asleep, spread across the entirety of the double bed and her head buried in the pillows.

Hiya,
So, I just needed some soft Luke and Arabella domestic cuteness, plus them watching Star Wars together. It's not much and it doesn't add loads to the story, despite reminding me of how painfully single I am, but I enjoy these sorts of chapters.
Let me know what you think,
Love Li xx
