"PIPE DOWN, SHERBIE, AND PICK A CARD. any card" the last few minutes had been various different encounters of vision doing magical stunts, which were actually showcasing his powers, while wanda tried covering them up. he would fly in the air and wanda would cast a rope, bringing the audience to roar with laughter.

now he was tending to card tricks, and every time he turned and started a new trick, evi would sink down in her seat and pray, that wanda would be able to cover it up.

herb, upon being called a false name, stood up hesitantly. he took a card from out the deck, while vision turned around

"yeah, put it back in the deck, i'm not looking" vision instructed the man. herb did as he was told and stood waiting for vision to continue the trick

"alright, watch this" vision said, he shuffled the deck and hold one of the cards into the air "is this your card?"

"uh, no" herb shook his head, looking around confused

"i beg to differ" vision raised his eyebrows, while herb shook his head again "r-really?" he threw away the card, he continued doing that with the rest of the cards, asking herb over and over again if he saw his card.

he stopped on the very last card and herbs face lightened up. "oh it is!" he called

"it is what?" vision asked confused, already forgetting what was going on

"it's my card!" herb explained

"well, pardon me, herb, have it back!" he slapped the card onto the man and evi giggled at the joke, which didn't seem to have been on purpose

"oh no, you did the trick right!" herb tried to correct

"well, of course i did the trick right... i'm illusion! flourish!"

wanda clapped, the rest of the audience joining in a second after.

"and now, for my next trick.." visions eyes searched the stage "who stole my hat? oh, oh, stop that rabbit! i gotta pull a hat out of it!"

wanda grabbed señor scratchy, before vision could reach him "maybe leave the poor bunny out of this one, shall we?"

"well" vision shrugged "then i will just have to pull this hat out of myself"

the crowd gasped and wanda ran over, trying to stop the inevitable. "vision, no!"

"i'm doing it" and with those last words, he phased the hat through his own body, ultimately revealing their secret

"if only you knew all our secrets!" wanda laughed, trying to play it down

"and now, ladies and gentlemen, for our great finale, i bring you the magnet of crysteries!"

wanda brought out the cabinet "the cabinet of mysteries" she corrected

"yeah, yeah, what she said. i will now make my wife disappear!" vision opened the door of the cabinet, closing it again before wanda has the time to step inside.

vision doesn't seem to notice that though

"are you sure you don't want an audience volunteer?" agnes raised her hand "perhaps a volunteer named 'my husband ralph'?"

the audience laughed.

"haha, no" vision raised his wand "abracadabra" and hit the cabinet with it

"uh, sweetheart?" wanda calmly asked from next to him

"yeah?"

"hi"

"oh" vision said, quickly realizing his mistake

"what's in the box?" asked herb, repeating it until the whole crowd starting chanting

"yeah, what's in the box?" vision wondered while the audience continued their chanting

wanda waved her fingers through the air and then she and vision open the doors of the cabinet to reveal geraldine. the audience applauded, everyone astonished, while geraldine looked around confused and nervously smiled at the sudden attention. the three bow on the stage, before vision and wanda run backstage, evi following close behind

"hey" she spoke, coming to a halt next to them "that was— something. maybe now'd be a good time to get the gum out of him"

"what gum?" vision asked confused, still acting like he was drunk

wanda nodded her head and scanned his body. she raised her hand and brought the gum back out of his mouth

"would you look at that?" vision laughed "that really gummed up my works, didn't it?"

"mmh" wanda agreed, while evi raised her eyebrows at his lame joke

"ah, i'm not as funny without it, am i?"

"well, you're back to yourself and that's all i care about. now, let's get out of here before dottie and the planning committee strings us up for ruining the show"

the family stepped down and hide their faces while they pass the stage, but dottie saw them nonetheless

"you three, stop right there!"

they turned around, caught like a deer in head—lights

"nothing like what you two just did up here has ever happened in the history of our talent show!"

evi gulped nervously, stepping back, trying to distance herself from wanda and vision, technically she wasn't a part of all this.

"dottie, we are so—" wanda tried to excuse but was interrupted

"—hilarious!" dottie finished "that was the most hilarious act we've ever seen. wouldn't you all agree?"

the whole crowd applauded

"oh yes!" vision nodded

"you two, come on up! come on"

wanda and vision stepped back onto the stage, while evi watched them in admiration.

"on behalf of the planning committee, i would like to award you with the inaugural comedy performance of the year" she gave the award to wanda

"oh, thank you"

the crowd applauded once again, wanda gestured towards geraldine, to joint them. evi saw that they were speaking to each other, but couldn't make out the words from where she was standing.

they bowed a last time.

"for the children!" norm called and the audience joined in "for the children!"

but evi still wondered, where were all the children?

"all we had to do was be ourselves" vision said when they were back home, sitting on the couch in the living room.

"you act like i didn't suggest that before" evi exclaimed, narrowing her eyes

"okay, i'm sorry you were right" wanda said and vision nodded in agreement "well, be ourselves with a few modifications i would say"

"and it was all for the children" vision joked

"for the children! well, i think the children might need some popcorn" wanda stood up

"well, apropos children, where—"

"wanda?" vision suddenly exclaimed, interrupting evi

evi looked up into the direction of her sister and gasped audibly. wanda was showing. like she was pregnant.

"what the—"

"vision, is this really happening?"

they were about to kiss, evi sitting behind them, still as confused as ever. suddenly there was a loud noise and wanda and vision stepped outside

"vision, is this really happening?"

"yes, my love, it's really happening" vision leaned forward and kissed his wife

evi couldn't explain how, but suddenly visions face was in color.

"vision, evi" wanda just said, watching her loved ones gain back their color. evi's hair turned bright red, as did wanda's. the auburn—colored outfit wanda was wearing and the dress evi was wearing turned back into color too.

they looked around themselves, watching as the whole house transformed. like it was magic. evi watched wanda's hand closely, but she was not doing anything

and with that, suddenly they became even more of a real family...
