"How is it that the Council sent you with us, Master Sawyer?" The Young Jedi was asked the question by Master Qui-gon Jinn. With a friendly face, the Young Jedi looked up at the Elder.
"Master Windu trusts my negotiation skills. He thought it would be a good idea to send me with you to negotiate in this conflict between Queen Amidala and the Trade Federation."she explained kindly. It made her proud that her old master still believed in her. Even now that she's not his Padawan anymore.

Qui-gon nodded in agreement. "If the Council trusts you, so will we." Coco nodded slightly, still smiling, and looked at the Master in front of her. "Thank you very much, Master." Qui-gon clasped his hands in the sleeve of each other's arm. "Wait here." He went ahead to inquire about her whereabouts.

Now the Young Jedi stood here together and alone with Obi-Wan Kenobi, who was examining the Young Master in front of him.

"When Master Windu trusts you, the Council trusts you as well." Coco knew that Mace Windu is one of the most respected Jedi on the Council. So she looked back at the young Padawan and nodded. "I know the Council trusts me, Kenobi." She began, twisting her torso towards him and continuing to look at him. "You don't have to tell me something already know. The Council trusts me, Master Windu trusts me, your master trusts me." She counted, then raised her head again and looked at Obi Wan. He actually still looked the same as before. The blue eyes, the cheeky grin on his face and yet his common sense and wisdom. He honored Qui-gon Jinn, trusted him and had watched him as much as Coco watched her master.

"But why don't you trust me?" Obi-Wan stepped forward and looked at the Young Jedi. She was quite a bit shorter than he was. Coco had never been very tall, but she didn't need to be. She was beaming still something and everyone knew that she can do other things than be friendly. "I didn't say that I distrust you, Master Sawyer." He spoke in a reasonable voice to his childhood friend whose face spread a smile.

She gave Obi-Wan a quick slap in the shoulder and shook her head. It has always been like this. It was what made the two of them special. "Nice to see you too, Kenobi." The young woman turned away from the padawan and made her way to Qui-gon Jinn, finally stopping.

Her eyes were on the Trade Federation's giant control ship. It worried her a bit because she didn't have a good feeling about it. "Master, it could be a trap or something." She voiced her concerns. Unfortunately, Qui gon had to agree with her. It could be a trap, but they came with peaceful intentions. The Trade Federation had no reason to try to kill them.

"We come to dismount in peace. The Trade Federation would have no reason to kill us or try." Coco started to say the Trade Federation didn't need a reason, but left it at that. If it's a trap, they'll do whatever they have to do. "We're going in. Get ready." Qui-gon turned away from her and walked back to his padawan.

Coco looked a little more at this ship and closed her eyes. She tried to feel something with the Force, but she didn't. She lowered her head a little, but raised it again and stood upright again.
She trusted Qui-gon and she trusted Obi Wan. They would do what they had to do if this turned out to be a trap.

Her Master had taught her to consider all options and act accordingly. That's exactly what she would do.
She put the cape on and pulled the hood down over her face. She covered her lightsaber with her cloak, but kept it in a position where she could get hold of it quickly at any time. She couldn't risk dying from an ambush.

This mission was important to her, very important, and Coco really didn't want to screw that up. Especially not because she might have been careless. It was too risky, too big a risk. She was taught that her lightsaber, this weapon, is her survival. Without this weapon she would still have her power, but it wasn't strong enough. Their strength lay in swordplay, not power struggles.

Her master had once told her that he felt she would become a strong and powerful Jedi. Coco wasn't so sure about that, but she didn't trust her personal feelings but her intellect. She had to keep a cool head and not show her enemies how insecure she actually is.
She would do what she always does. Watch.

She pulled the hood of her coat deep over her face and clasped her hands in the sleeves of the other arm. Two figures she could identify as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-gon Jinn now stood beside her. Also inspected this ship in front of them.

"Captain." Qui-gon cleared his throat. The ship's captain glanced up at the Jedi Master. "Yes, sir?" Qui-gon looked down at her. Got a nod of agreement from Coco and then looked at the captain. "Tell them we wish to come aboard immediately." The ship's captain nodded, turned back to the controls and clicked a button.

A note from the Viceroy of the Trade Federation surfaced. "With all due respect..the Supreme Chancellor's ambassadors wish to come aboard." Coco lowered her head extra, looking at the ground she was standing on. She had missions like this as a Padawan. Together with Master Windu or other masters such as Aayla Secura, a very strong admirable Twi'lek Jedi Master.

Above all, Coco had copied her leadership qualities from her. But she had also made use of her strategic abilities, such as in individual and group combat. Coco watched everything very closely. Jedi masters like Kit Fisto or Jedi master Shaak-Ti had taught her a lot.

"Certainly. As you know, our blockade is perfectly legal and we look forward to receiving the ambassadors." The recording disappeared again. Coco took a deep breath and let it out before she looked up at Qui gon. "We should be careful and ourselves consider a possible escape plan." Qui-gon, who appreciated the Young Jedi Master, nodded. "Yes." He agreed and looked at the captain. "Captain. They wait here. In case something goes wrong." The captain nodded as he brought the ship to a halt. Coco had a weird feeling about this. Something was wrong, she just felt it.

Together, the three ran out of the ship. Countless droids were here. Something that indicated something was wrong. The young Jedi looked around unobtrusively, watching the droids. There were not only normal ones but also droidekas and battle droids. Coco knew exactly what to do, motioning Obi-Wan to watch the droids unobtrusively. Obi-Wan nodded to show he understood and walked ahead of her to the door that was supposed to lead out of the hangar.

The door opened and a Silbener droid stood there, coming close to a protocol droid. Probably to greet her. Coco tried to feel something with her power, but she couldn't. However, the uncertainty lay in her gut feeling, which had never deceived her.

"I am TC-14, at your service." the droid said to them, confirming the suspicions of the Young Jedi Master, who is the same age as the young Kenobi.

"This way, please." The droid led the way. Cautiously, the Jedi followed. Coco, who is the eye of the group, watched the corridors through which they walked. The ship was relatively large, well protected, and they had a fair number of droids. It worried Coco because the Rebublik hardly had that many fighters. There were around 200 Jedi in the temple. Maybe a little more if you include the younglings. The droids were many more. If there was a battle between them, the Jedi would be Far inferior. What happened back then could happen again if they aren't careful what they do. Except this time it wouldn't be Sith but droids.

"We are very honored by your visit, Ambassador." They walked into a room made up largely of a long, narrow table and matching chairs.
"Please make yourselves comfortable. My Master will be with you shortly." The droid disappeared again and not a minute later the door closed. Almost relieved, the Jedi took off their hoods.

"I've got a bad feeling about that." Obi-Wan voiced his concerns. Coco ran forward first. She stroked the smooth metal of the table, crouched down to check for possible traps, running her fingertip over each crack along, felt the cold metal on her finger.

"Your padawan is right. I can feel it too." The Young Jedi spoke to the Elder, getting up again and beginning to search the walls. "I don't feel anything of the sort." Qui-gon clarified. He knew what Coco was doing there, but he couldn't understand it. "It's not about our mission. Something else is hard to deal with." Obi-Wan said to him.

Coco ran along the walls, walked around the room, feeling the little dents and trying to figure out what was going on. She stopped at the window. Her fingertips touched the glass, feeling it for weak spots. Then she crouched down, ran her fingers over the small cracks in the ground and raised a skeptical eyebrow as her eyes fell on the ventilation duct from which a cool breeze came.

"Don't focus on your fears, Obi-Wan." The Jedi Master offered his Padawan advice. Meanwhile, Coco got up and walked to this shaft and ran her fingers through the bars.

"Concentrate on the here and now, where they belong." Coco sighed. Except for the small cracks, she could not detect anything suspicious.  She’s pretty sure about her gut feeling.
"But Master Yoda said that I should be aware of the future."
The young Jedi had to admit that the Grand Master was wise. Wiser Than they would ever be themselves. He was strong and one of the most powerful confidants of the Force. If not even the most powerful.

"But not at the expense of the moment. Be aware of the living force, young Padawan." Coco joined the two Jedis and locked her hands together as she gazed out at the tarp. He looked beautiful from above.

"Yes Master. How will this trade viceroy respond to the Chancellor's demands?" Obi Wan asked a really good question. But the answer was simple. He will agree to those demands. He had to.
"The Federation officials are all cowards." Qui-gon spoke to his student. "The negotiations will not last long." With that, the young Jedi sat down on one of the chairs.
