ONCE THEY WERE ALL READY TO GO, THE CREW WERE NOW IN THEIR VEHICLES DRIVING TO THE REAL FUN. The storm had already made landfall, as Tyle was leading the crew in his truck as usual, and Charlie was sitting up in the front, Kate in the back both reading the shared data they had.

"Okay, ground speed's at 22. Intercept is northeast." Kate was informing the two up front, while Charlie was watching the funnel closely as it destroyed anything in its path, "Look for Siloam Road." She finished reading off the Dopper.

Tyler, who had an excited expression on his face looks from Kate in the mirror and to the quiet Charlie beside him, his hand giving her thigh that rested on it a small squeeze, as he repeated, "Siloam Road."

Suddenly, a familiar truck cuts in front of them on the road, engine roaring and tires squealing and nearly runs them off the road. Tyler just chuckled, not intimidated by Javi's stormPAR truck, and behind them the caravan honked at another car annoyed.

"Hey! These storm buttheads are cutting us off, man." Boone's voice was heard complaining over the radio, which traveled through each car they owned.

Tyler pulled off the radio from it's holder, letting go of Charlie's hand for a second, and pressed down on it to speak to the crew, "Alright, let's not get distracted. Let's get these babies in the air!"

Thunder began to make loud crashing sounds in the dark skies, following how the wind began to pick up. Charlie felt her stomach churn not liking the bad feeling she was getting, it getting worse when debri was making things harder to see in front.

A small curse left both sisters when the Dopper cut off, much to their annoyance and shared a confused look between each other through the mirror, "Doppler went dark." Kate complained, placing the object down.

"That's probably a dead cell zone." Tyler figured not really knowing why, raising his voice a bit to be heard over the loud rain hitting his windshield and mirrors of the truck, making things harder to see.

Charlie felt that same feeling she had when the accident happened, and pulled her bottom lip in between her teeth nervously. She squinted her eyes trying to see through the rain, and spotted a stop sign wobble out of control because of the strong wind and rain.

"Guys, I think we should--" Her shaky voice tried to talk squeezing Tyler's hand tightly, but was soon cut off by a startled yelp instead when suddenly the truck was coming to a harsh stop.

Their friend had slammed his breaks on all of a sudden as they passed a huge refinery, making Tyler do the same. Right in front of Javi's truck was the huge tornado, it indeed was not an EF1, and it was heading right for their truck.

"Javi!" The sisters both yelled in fear, worried for their friend as he was directly in the path of the storms destruction that was now falling on top of him and his partner.

Charlie watched with her heart in her throat, as the wind flipped their friends truck, and landed on its side unable to move. She began to breath a bit heavy, eyes wide in horror as she snapped her head to Tyler, "Ty, we gotta do something--"

When she went to fumble with her buckles of the belt, his hand instantly shot up to grip her hand, and gave her a sharp glare, "You ain't doing anything. You're staying right there, where it's safe." He scolded in a deeper accent, giving her hand a tight squeeze.

She went to protest quickly, but Boone's yelling voice over the radio cut her off, "Hey, on your left guys!" He warned loudly, just as an explosion suddenly goes off beside them, "It's hitting something big!"

All of them watched in fear as hit the refinery, the tornado tearing up the large structure like it was nothing. Charlie felt her stomach drop next, the structure catching on fire and shooting right up into the storm, making something the was once a beautiful sight now a complete nightmare.

Her brown eyes were wide as she looked at the tornado of fire, and flinched back in the seat when it now exploded. The factory erupted in a massive fire, and the flames were all sucked up into the vortex, creating something she's only ever seen in pictures.

"Oh, my god..." She heard her sister Kate gape out in horror, feeling Kate's hand grasping her forearm from the backseat not knowing what else to do, and turned to look at Charlie fearfully.

The tornado continued to pick up in speed over the destroyed factory, as it was now creating sparks of electricity. When Charlie saw how it was coming for them, she frantically tapped Tyler's thigh with her palm, "Drive, Ty! Drive, drive--!"

He didn't need to be told twice. He pressed his boot down on the gass, and put the truck in reverse, "Oh, my god. Oh, my god!" He exclaimed now driving fast away, and glanced over his shoulder to look through the window, arm resting on the back of Charlie's seat.

Javi and Scott were still right in the path of the storm's way, and she knew if they didn't get out either they couldn't help rescue them. But Kate was too worried, and poked her head in the front, "Wait, wait, wait!" She shouted gaining their attention, "We can't just leave them! Char, Javi's there!"

Charlie's hands were shaking gripping onto her camera, and looked like a wounded puppy as she glanced to her sister. Her mouth open and closed wanting to reassure Kate, but all that came out was a scared squeak followed by a rapid head shake.

"We're not gonna leave them, but we got to move!" Tyler answered for the both of them, his voice raised over the loud noise from outside, as his wild green eyes connect with Charlie's fearful ones, "We're going back for them baby, don't worry."

She swallowed the lump in her throat, feeling her stomach churn as she glance through the mirror that was getting drenched by the rain. She grabbed onto Kate's hand tightly in her own, while her other gripped Tyler's thigh for deal life watching the chaos around them.

Their group behind was all backing up along the road, so the truck could drive away faster seeing they weren't clear from the path of destruction. Many pieces of debri was flying everywhere outside, getting sucked up by the strong winds and it made it harder to see from how dark it was too.

A massive piece of metal suddenly came flying out of the tornado, and slammed right into Javi's truck, causing Charlie to let out a whimper of fear for her best friend. Though it did damage the vehicle even more, it knocked them the right side up so that they could escape.

Another explosion went off from the refinery, and through the smoke it had created appeared Javi's truck now driving away. When the sisters saw that, they both frantically yelled at Tyler who now was ready to go, "Go, go, go, go!"

He pressed his boot on the gass pretty fast, making the girls yelp and hold onto each other tighter, "Hold on!" He warned just as he made a sharp turn, throwing them around and continued to quickly drive away from the storm.

Charlie yelped at bit when he went over a bump, and shared a wide eyed look with Kate who were both still freaking out. At least this time they would be together through the tornado experience, unlike last time where Charlie was alone with Tyler.

While he drove them away from the factory, the storm didn't let up either which made him reach for the radio, and held it up to his mouth, "Is everybody okay?" He asked the crew, hoping nothing too serious happened to any of them.

The voices of their crew crackled through the radio next, Dexter being first, and then Ben followed by Boone at the end, all reassuring the trio the group was unharmed and safe. Well, not exactly safe yet per say.

"Are you seeing this?" Lily's loud voice flowed through next, sounding both amazed and fearful at what was happening which Charlie could agree on fully knowing how she felt.

Outside basically following the crew, was the huge almost black tornado, with the fire having died out. It was chasing along side them in the fields, but then something happened which caused Charlie's eyes to widen once more in fright.

"Oh, god--" She whispered shakily gaining Tyler's worried gaze on her now, as she dropped down her camera from taking a photo and realised what the tornado was doing, "The path is shifting."

The chaos creation was heading right for a town full of people that the trio could see down the road, and the warning sirens began to blare loudly, but it was hardly heard over the wind. Charlie knew they need to help those people, even if they couldn't make the storm dissipate

So she looked to Kate for a brief encouragement, and saw the girl nodding her head strongly. Charlie gave one back, before reaching for the radio and switched it on, "Okay, guys, there's nothing we can do to stop it," She began now being serious, "but when you get there, make sure people get to a safe place."

A chorus of voices all agreed with her over the line, before Boone was talking to Dani only over the radio, "Alright, Dani. Where am I headed?" He asked loudly, his accent dropping out a bit, as he drove the truck his group were in.

"There's -- there's a kids' park on Main," She began to tell him holding her radio, and looked at the map she had inside the front seat of the caravan, "Make sure to get people to basements, uh, big buildings, no windows. Stay away from windows. No cars, alright?"

"Alright, careful y'all." Lily pipped in after the other girl was finished, her tone sounding worried and anxious for her friends over the speaker.

Charlie nodded her head listening to them, and gripped the radio in her fingers tighter, "That means you too, Lily and the rest of you." She hearheardly scolded gaining chuckles from Lily, "Stay safe out there." She added softly before switching the radio off.

She placed it back where the holder was, and swallowed the building lump in her throat. She couldn't let this end the way it did five years ago, not when she gained more friends and the man she loved again. She would do anything to make sure it wouldn't, and that's exactly what she'll do.

Leaning back into the seat, she turned towards Tyler to see him already staring at her with a soft, but worried expression in his eyes as a knowing look passing between them. Whatever happens, they would protect one another no matter what.

He swiftly intertwined their fingers together for a few seconds, and brought up her hand to his mouth, pressing a few reassuring kisses on her finger tips. She knew now wasn't the time, but her heart flipped at the touch and felt herselt relax a bit from how anxious she was.

On the way to town, they passed Javi's truck who didn't seem eager to follow them, but Charlie knew better when they made eye contact, and saw the desperate glint in his eyes. She turns away from her best friend, and focused on the task at hand, trying to safe people from the incoming storm.

The trio headed right into the main square, where some sort of festival was being held for the people of the town, who were all now in panic mode from the sirens blaring through the speakers.

When the truck came to a stop on the side of the road, all of them hoped out into the street. People were running and screaming all over, trying to find cover and safety. But some of the ciztines were trying to hold down their tents, and protect the things they owned not wanting to leave them.

Charlie was stood in the middle of Tyler and Kate, her hair blowing around all over her face from the massive wind tunnel they were standing in. Her eyes frantically scanned the chaos around them, unsure where to start since so many needed help.

She didn't even hear the sound of a tent coming up behind her, as Tyler had just grabbed her by the arm and pulled her down before it could hit her. Kate had a strong grip on her other arm, as they all got back up and started to run down the street to assist.

The noise around her seemed to blank out all of a sudden, her fingers reaching up to grasp her necklace around her neck. Her brown eyes take in the chaos, people running, tents flying, debri falling and how the storm was getting close from how dark it was getting in the sky above.

She only seemed to knock out of her trance when Dexter came running over, and felt Tyler hold onto her hand with a death grip, "Guys!" He shouted over the wind, his hat having been blown away, "Shelters are all full. We got to get everyone to the movie theatre!"

The trio all shared looks of determination hearing the news, as Kate gave her sister's hand a squeeze before they all separated briefly, running off towards the people. All of them were pushing the people towards the theatre that was slowly filling up, and telling them to leave their tents so they could get to safety.

As she moved to help more people, her eyes caught sight of something—a small figure huddled under a massive tent, the fabric whipping violently in the wind.

A young girl, no older than six, sat beneath it, tears streaming down her face as she cried for her mother. Without thinking, Charlie dashed toward her, dodging debris and gusts of wind that threatened to knock her off balance.

"Hey, hey, it's okay!" Charlie dropped to her knees beside the girl, her voice steady but gentle. The girl's eyes were wide with fear, her small body trembling.

"I'm here to help you, okay? We're going to find your mom, but we need to get you out of here first." Charlie carefully reached out, brushing dirt from the girl's face. The tent flapped violently, and she could see the poles starting to give way.

The girl whimpered, clutching her arm, and Charlie's heart clenched at the sight of blood streaking the girl's skin. "It's gonna be okay," she whispered, doing her best to calm her. Slowly, deliberately, she began to pull the girl out from beneath the tent, making sure not to jostle her injury, "We're almost there... you're doing so well."

Once the girl was clear, Charlie wasted no time. She scooped her up into her arms, careful to support the girl's head with her hand, "Hold on tight, alright?" The girl wrapped her arms around Charlie's neck, her tears soaking into Charlie's jacket as she took off running.

The wind pushed back against her with every step, but Charlie's focus remained laser-sharp. She had to find Kate—Kate would know what to do, how to help this girl find her mother.

Her breath came in short gasps as she zigzagged through the square, dodging panicked people and falling debris. The weight of the girl in her arms was nothing compared to the storm surging around them.

"Kate!" She screamed, scanning the chaos. Her eyes locked on her sister, who was guiding a group of people toward the theatre, "Kate!"

Kate turned at the sound of her name, her eyes widening when she saw Charlie charging toward her with the girl in her arms. She ran to meet her, her expression full of both relief and determination.

"She's hurt," Charlie said breathlessly as she reached Kate, gently shifting the girl in her arms, who clinged onto the girl more, "I need you to help her find her mom. I've gotta get back out there to help."

Kate nodded, her face softening as she reached out to take the girl from her sister, arms wrapping around the smaller figure, "Don't worry, Char. I'll take care of her. Go."

Charlie handed the girl over, her fingers brushing Kate's arm for a brief second, a silent exchange of reassurance before she turned and sprinted back into the chaos, the wind at her back. She didn't look over her shoulder—there was no time.

While she was knocking on people's car window, and yelling at them to go towards the theatre where she hoped the little girl had found her mother, her ears picked up the sound of a loud crash that sounded like metal scrapping along the road.

She turned just in time to see the tram derailing off onto the road, and felt her heart drop realising who it crashed into. The metal ran into the structure near Tyler, now pinning him under a sheet of metal, and her eyes go wide in horror seeing him like that.

"TYLER!" She screamed over the rustling wind, forgetting their job as she ran towards him immediately. She heard him yelling in pain, his leg trapped underneath the heavy metal beam.

She came to a stop by his side, and knelt down on one knee where he was stuck, "Okay, alright--" She more so talked to herself taking a deep breath, before sliding her fingers under the metal, getting a strong grip and she started to lift it.

It was getting nowhere from how heavy it was, and no matter how strong Charlie was, she wasn't enough to lift the metal all by herself. Loud grunts leave her lips from the strained to her muscles, but would rather die then give up and leave the man she loved outside trapped.

Another loud crash was heard behind them, which made her glance over her shoulder with pants to see what it was. A car had crashed into some debri on the road, as her hair blows all over her face making it harder to see, but that didn't stop her from lifting.

Something now flew through the air above them, and crashed into the legs of the nearby water tower, causing one of the legs to tip over. Charlie heard the sound but ignored it, and focused on trying to get the metal off, where as Tyler watched the water tower now breaking apart.

"Watch out!" He shouted in warning as the leg now falls, nearly hitting them. She ducked a bit protecting them both, her upper body shielding Tyler's and heard the crash on the road, "Sweetheart, you gotta get inside!"

Charlie snapped her head towards him, and gave him an incredulous stare, "I'm not leaving you!" She yelled through glossy eyes, continuing to lift the metal up the best she could, as she whimpered, "I already lost you once, I'm not about to again!"

Despite the pain he was feeling, his face softens hearing her words knowing he would be the same way if the spots were switched. He saw how the water tower was about to come down on them, "Charlie..." He breathed out, looking at her with despair swirling in his eyes, "Honey--"

"No, no! Don't even, Tyler--" She cried out shaking her head frantically, a few tears dropping down her cheeks as she heaved the metal some more, and felt how her fingers were starting to hurt a bit from how hard she was lifting, "I'm not leaving you, not again! I can't!"

No matter how hard she tried to lift, the metal wasn't budging at all but refused to give up. That was until a wooden beam was suddenly slid underneath it, replacing her hands. She turned her head panting, seeing Javi there ready to use the leverage to lift it, with Kate right beside him making her eyes well up with more tears.

"Come on, Bear! Lift!"

Together they managed to lift it the slightest bit, giving Tyler just enough room to slide his leg out and get free. Charlie was instantly helping up stand up, grabbing his forearm to steady him as she felt Javi and Kate's hands on her back.

"Let's go, let's go!" Javi yelled over the wind knowing they needed to get to safety, and grabbed Kate's hand in his, tugging on Charlie's arm who held Tyler to lead them all away to the theater.

That was until the water tower crashed and spilled water everywhere, making the four all exclaim out in fear as they were sent to the ground. Charlie and Tyler kept a strong grip on one another as they all slipped around, and got back up soon after with the help from the other two.

They headed towards the theatre away from the water and storm, running to one of the screening rooms which had a movie playing. Inside was full of scared people, and the roof was slowly caving in, with pieces of it falling down showing the building wasn't built for the incoming storm.

"See if you can find a basement!" Tyler told them loudly over the screaming people, before turning to Charlie and lifted up his wet palm to caress her cheek, making her nod her head in reassurance to his unspoken question.

His touch lingered for a few seconds, both their chests heaving up and down as she grasped his wrist holding her cheek. He decided to be bold, and lent down to press his lips against her forehead in a hard kiss, his brows furrowing.

It made her eyelashes flutter softly and momentarily forgot about the chaos around them as realised she almost lost him if it weren't for Javi and Kate. As quick as the comfort happened it was taken away, and she opened her eyes to see Tyler running off into another direction.

"I'll check the other side!" Javi informed the sisters in a yell also, giving them a reassuring look as Kate squeezed his forearm and they watched him run off also to do what he said.

Charlie and Kate went behind the screen instead, both of them following each other as Kate kept a protective hand on Charlie's back. They found a huge set of metal doors near the end, and hoped it led down to a storm shelter. But when the girls threw it open, the door just lead outside where the tornado was raging on badly.

The town was being destroyed before their eyes, nothing being safe in the path of the storm as it was now headed right for them, the building they were in it's direct path making Charlie's stomach churn knowing the theatre wouldn't be able to handle it.

Tyler soon joined the girls near the doors, his figure almost crashing into Charlie who steadied him by the chest and kept one hand on his forearm as she stood in the middle. The wind was more brutal then before, making even more necklace fly around a bit away from her chest.

"There's no basement on the other side!" Javi appeared from behind them in a frenze, shouting his information at the trio as he came up beside Kate's other side.

"There's nothing over here either!" Tyler informed the male over the howling wind, his accent not heard from how he was yelling and gripped onto Charlie's arm more tighter feeling her trembling a bit.

Javi shakes his head, and turned his panicked gaze to the quiet sisters now speaking to them, but saw how his brunette haired friend was glancing at something in the distance, "This theatre isn't built to withstand what's coming!"

More of the roof collapsed which had the four turning towards the noise, and heard the people inside scream in terror. So, the boys ran back inside to help in any way they could, leaving the sisters thinking they would follow along. Well, that's what Tyler hoped for Charlie.

However instead of following, her teary eyes were focused on Tyler's red truck and knew what had to be done. If she didn't do anything, the theatre wouldn't survive the storm and all the innocent people would die, including her friends, sister, and the man she loved.

She promised herself to never leave Tyler again, but she also promised to never left that accident from five years ago happen again. For the sake of everyone's safety, she had to break the first one even if it broke her heart to do so.

A sudden warmth touched her left hand, causing the girl to turn her head to see Kate standing beside her, holding her hand in hers tightly. Kate smiled tearily at her sister, knowing exactly what she was planning, "Let's go, Bear. You and me."

Inside the theatre, the boys were helping people get to safety away from the derbi along with the rest of the crew. But Javi soon realised his two best friends were missing, and now grew even more panicked, "Where's Charlie and Kate?" He yelled his question to Tyler over the wind.

Tyler was knelt on the floor from having helped an old lady up, and now realised to the love of his life was missing along with her sister. His heart dropped to his stomach having a feeling he knew what his girl was doing, eyes growing teary and turned to look in horror at where he left her.
