- backstory: her life was as normal as it could get. her mother and father were happily married, and her and her twin brother were practically best friends. it wasn't until she turned 16 that things took a turn for the worse. her mother went missing one night, and no one knew why. her father was distraught and became incredibly distant, forcing her and her twin, carson, to raise themselves. holland began her journey to the fbi early, as early as when she was 20 years old. she interned for the local police station, applied to be an officer and went up from there. she got into the academy when she was 26, young for the academy. she was an excellent marksman and weaponry was deemed her specialty. she was recruited by the BAU when she was 28 years old, and all through that, her mother has never been found.
