Y/n's POV

"Out of bed you lazy butts! Come and get your breakfast!" Is the first thing I hear as I open my eyes freeing myself from my slumber.

"Well good morning Y/n! You feeling better today!" Sir Meliodas asks me with a big smile.

"Oh yes thank you for asking," I say sitting up.

"I feel great and good morning to you too! Let me help you out of that." I say referring to the ropes tied around him. "One thing, try to be gentle." Sir Meliodas told me as I went to untie the ropes.

"Um, Hawk?" I say "hmm." He replies turning to look at me.

"Well next time when you tie up Sir Meliodas, maybe you can be a little bit looser?" I suggest.

"If he's uncomfortable, sleep is not going to be easy for him," I say.

"That defeats the whole purpose if he's able to move!" Hawk yells surprising me.

"Lying in the same bed as you. He's gonna have abe more hands than a teenage octopus! Precautions must be taken!" Hawk yells.

"But I-" I get interrupted by Sir Meliodas. "If you just look at it as part of foreplay it's actually not that bad at all." Sir Meliodas said with food in his mouth.

"What's foreplay?" I ask innocently. "NOTHING TO WORRY YOUR LITTLE HEAD ABOUT!!!!" Elizabeth and Hawk say together.

"Who knows maybe you can tie me up next time instead of Hawk." Sir Meliodas said smiling turning my face red.

"You sleaze bag," Hawk said to Sir Meliodas, Lady Diane peeks from the window.

"Hey did I hear someone gonna tie-up Hawk!" Lady Diane asks excitedly only to be shut down by Hawk who scolds her.

Sir Ban comes down and sat down on a stool. "I could sure use a drink Captain." Sir Ban said.

"It's a little early don't you think?" Lady Diane asks.

"Would you like to have some breakfast with us, Sir Ban?" I ask smiling.

"You don't expect me to eat the Captain's awful cooking do you?" Sir Ban asks me as he catches the bottle of beer Sir Meliodas threw at him.

"If you don't like it then make it yourself!" Sir Meliodas said with his usual happy smile.

"Don't mind if I do!" Sir Ban said as he pulled out the cork and the beer exploded in his face.

"Alright, guys let's bead to the necropolis. Well, look for King there," Sir Meliodas said pointing at the map.

"Wait didn't you say that fatty was six feet under these days?" Sir Ban asks. I gasp in surprise.

"Hey don't judge people by their weight!" I said reprimanding Sir
Ban.

"Yeah, yeah. He doesn't mind me calling him that so don't worry," Sir Ban said ruffling the hair on my head.

"It's the only lead we got so might as well check it out!" Sir Meliodas said.

"The City of the Dead sounds scary. What kind of place is it?" I asked.

"I have no idea. Honestly, the only thing I know about it is that it exists," Sir Meliodas said.

"Look guys if you ask me it's probably haunted with a spooky name like that. I bet it's gloomy and dark all the time. With rows and rows of creepy graves everywhere," Hawk said making the hair stand up all over my body.

I gasp in fright, "There won't be any bugs, right?" Lady Daine asks in fright.

Hawk walks up to me. "Once we get there and start looking. What will happen if we do find King? Do you really think he's still going to be alive?" Hawk said scaring me.

I lean, placing my hands over my ears. "Oh please don't say anything else!" I whimper.

"Some ghost huh?" Sir Meliodas said as he looked at Sir Ban.

"We're here!" Sir Meliodas said as Hawk's Mom stops. "So this is the necropolis? It's not what I expected," Lady Diane said looking around.

"How did a run-down little village end up with a name like that anyway?" Hawk asks.

"Rumour has it this should be the place closest to it," Sir Meliodas said.

"Let's see if we can find some intel of King and find out where to go from here! And we're gonna need to make a little food money right away," Sir Meliodas told us.

"So let's get the tavern up and running!" Sir Meliodas told us smiling.

"What do you know the Captain really does sell the drinks." Sir Ban said. "When he's working he's so cute! OMG!" Lady Diane said making the icky feeling come up my body.

"And I'm gonna put you all to work too!" Sir Meliodas said. He points at Lady Diane "Bring in some customers! Jumbo billboard girl!"

She got so excited, "Are you sure?" Sir Meliodas then points at Sir Ban. "You start grilling up some tasty grub! Jailbird cook!" Sir Meliodas said. "Uh who me?" Sir Ban asks.

"Are you sure you want this guy handling our food?" Hawk asks. "Trust me, I know it's hard to believe but this guy is a real wiz in the kitchen." Sit Meliodas said.

"Yeah well, I don't know about that." Sir Ban said. Sir Meliodas points to Elizabeth "And Elizabeth will be our waitress!"

"Alright, get to work! Put your back into it, you guys!" Sir Meliodas said clapping his hands.

"Please Sir Meliodas I want a job! My injuries don't bother me anymore." I told him. He smiles at me "Just don't push too hard." He said.

I smile at him "You got it!" I say.

Sir Meliodas then gets picked up by Lady Diane.

"Oh, Captain! You choose me as the billboard girl! I'm so so happy you choose me!" Lady Diane said as rubbed Sir Meliodas against her cheek.

"And don't worry I won't let you down! I promise I won't!" Lady Diane acclaimed happily as Sir Meliodas laughs.

"Diane your gonna be great!" I hear him say. "Oh yeah, Ban the pantry is out in the back!" Sir Meliodas said to Sir Ban only to see that Sir Ban is gone.

"Man what a jerk!" Hawk yelled. "He just took off?" Sir Meliodas said with a deadpan expression.

"So Sir Meliodas how would you describe Sir King? What kind of person was he?" I asked as I was wiping the counter.

"Hm let's see now, I'd say he was the Seven Deadly Sins mascot. Our pet I guess?" Sir Meliodas said.

"I don't think you can call people pets," I say furrowing my eyebrows.

"Hey you know perfectly well there are no pets allowed! Having an animal in a dining establishment is just disgusting?" Hawk yelled.

Sir Meliodas, Elizabeth and I look at him and he looks at us back. "Ever heard the word irony?" Sir Meliodas asks Hawk.

Sir Meliodas turns back to me. "Ok, about King there was this time when Ban was totally into collecting plushies." Sir Meliodas told me I laughed amused. "Really?"

Hawk snorts "That's just adorable!" Hawk said. "King sobbed and sobbed all night long. Then the next morning when Ban was passed asleep snoring away." He continued.

"Sir King seems very kind bringing all the plushies back to the children but still odd and  I admire that," I said smiling.

"And that also means that Ban is a bigger jerk than I already thought he was. I bet they fought all the time," Hawk said.

"Why would you say that. King and Ban were practically joined by the hip. Now when I think of it, it was probably to clean up Ban's messes," Sir Meliodas says.

"But with all said they did make a pretty excellent team!" Sir Meliodas said.

Everybody comes back with two children Sir Ban starts to make food. "Alright dig in." Sir Ban said as he laid out the food.

I look at the food starving. "That looks amazing!" I praise. "Yup!" Sir Meliodas said as he held Hawks' ear to stop him from trying to eat the food.

"It's great but we really don't-" The boy starts but Sir Ban cuts him off. "If you won't eat it I'll just give it to the pig," Sir Ban told them. "We're eating!" They say as they dug in.

The children start praising him for his cooking. "Alright, it's time for some give and take. Now tell me everything you know about this 'necropolis' place," Sir Ban said as he sat across from them.

"What are you doing Ban? Finding King was our mission. So there's no reason to go there anymore right?" Sir Meliodas told Sir Ban.

"No way in hell is that little punk King!" Sir Ban told him. "Trust me it's really him," Sir Meliodas said.

"I think he's a fake!" Sir Ban argued. "No that's really him," Sir Meliodas argued back. "He's a fake!" Ban yelled.

"So you guys are trying to get into the necropolis too?" The boy asks. The men look at him.

"The boy earlier asked us a lot of questions about it a lot and he told me he had to find it no matter what," The boy informed us.

"King said that huh," Sir Meliodas said. "He told us he's been looking a long time too," The boy continued.

"So it's actually here in this run-down place?" Hawk asks, "No but it's not far away," He told us.

"Then where is it exactly?" Diane asked. "The entrance to the necropolis can be found here in this hamlet. But it's not a place you can reach just because you want to," The boy tells us.

"Look riddles haven't been my thing," Sir Ban said, "Oh I get it so what your saying is... it's something like this!" Sir Meliodas said as he put food on a rope away from Hawk.

"I don't think that's it," I say, "So it's like a grave that's normally hidden right?" Sir Meliodas said.

"It's not a grave at all. It's land by itself a place where you will find spirits of those who died," The boy told us.

"Are you talking about the afterlife?" Sir Meliodas asks. "How could we reach a place like that?" I ask.

"Tell me, have you ever gotten a chance to go there yourself?" Sir Ban asks the children.

They both shake their small hands and heads, "Oh no! It's just superstition nonsense!" The boy told Sir Ban.

"If you share with the dead your precious memories they will lead you to where you want to go. The man next door use to say that to us all the time. I'm sorry but hats all I know," The little girl spoke.

Sir Ban placed a hand on her head. "That tip just paid for your meal and then some. Seriously well-done thanks a lot, Elaine," Sir Ban told her.

"Um, my name is Ellen," The girl corrected. "Oh yeah sorry about that Ellen. Now eat there's still food on your plate," Sir Ban said smiling. "Right!" Ellen said as she continued eating.

"What kind of reason would it be that Sir King wants to go into the necropolis now?" I ask.

"I know that's a very good question. I guess we'll know the answer when we get there," Sir Meliodas said looking at me.

We all walk outside. "Even if this necropolis place actually exists. There's no way to get to the other side," Hawk said ad he walked next to Sir Meliodas, Elizabeth, and I.

"I guess all we have to do is die right?" Sir Meliodas said. Hawk runs in front of him. "You big idiot," Hawk said to Sir Meliodas.

I stop walking and smile. "'Share memories that are precious with the dead' huh?" I say.

"But who has any memories with the dead?" I say as I scratched my head.

"Maybe Meliodas?" Hawk said. "Huh? Oh me...I don't think I have any of anyone dead," Sir Meliodas said staring at me.

"I don't have any shared memories," I said looking down. Suddenly I hear Diane call us.

"Y/n and Elizabeth come here! Look at all these cute flowers!" We all walk over to where Daine and Sir Ban are only to see beautiful pink flowers.

"Oh my, what kind are they?" I ask as I tried to figure out what species the flower is.

"Who cares about a bunch of stupid old flowers? You can eat these things all day long and they will never fill you up," Hawk said as he blew on one.

A bunch of flower petals surrounds us in a circle and the wind blew against us. "Pretty," Diane said.

"Hey, you guys!" The boy called to us from outside the flower circle. "Be careful!" He said.

"Huh?" I say confused until the wind got harsher making it hard to see. I feel a body come closer and pull me tight against them.

The flower petals soon stopped surrounding us and instead of being in the town, we were in a place with a bunch of crystals.

"Captain," Diane said pointing. "Look, you guys," Sir Meliodas said. I held my hand to my chest.

"What do you think got us here?" I asked.

"Maybe it was all my scraps I missed in my colorful life?" Hawk said. Sir Meliodas put his finger in his ear.

"My mind was totally blank," He said. "Mine too!" Diane agreed as she bent over.

Sir Ban gasped before running away and someone flew after him. "Ban!" Diane called after him.

"King?" Sir Meliodas said. "But how did he get here?" I ask. "What the hell is going on?" Hask asks.

"Captain, what are we supposed to do?" Diane asks Sir Meliodas. "I guess we'll run after them for now," Sir Meliodas said scratching his head.
