Y/n's POV:

'What happened to Sir Meliodas?'

"Hot. My insides are burning," Jericho said clutching her body. "How was he able to escape from the amber?" Guila asked.

But Sir Meliodas moved at the speed of light and cut off her hand, he took his sword from the dismembered hand and tossed her hand to the side.

"How dare you!" Guila said, Sir Meliodas swung his sword at her and a huge blast happened to knock Guila and Jericho down.

Jericho runs up to Guila and throws something down and a green bubble surrounds them for a second.

Sir Meliodas ran towards Sir Ban and cut him in half, I was scared now. 'Who is this? This couldn't be Sir Meliodas!'

Elizabeth ran towards me and helped me up, I heard her mumble something but I couldn't hear. "What in the world is going on here?" I asked terrified.

"I-I gotta go!" Elizabeth said standing up. "Where are you going?" I asked worriedly.

"To uh- see if anyone else needs saving! Yeah, that's it!" Elizabeth said before running off before I could say anything else.

"Y/n are alright?" Hawk asks I run over to him. "I'm fine Hawk. How is Sir Meliodas doing? Do you have any idea?" I ask caressing Hawk's burnt skin.

"Hell if I knew. Is that crazy-ass guy really Meliodas?" Hawk said and a blast explodes near us.

When I opened my eyes I realized we were on land with a crater around us, Sir Meliodas came close to my face causing me to gasp.

He soon started to sniff me, "S-Sir Meliodas?" I ask. He then kissed and nibbled on my neck.

He pulled away and lifted his right hand which had the black marking on, the marking soon turn into a wing. He picked me up and we flew away, "Y/n!" Hawk yelled.

Sir Meliodas made an even bigger crater and place me on a very high platform in the middle. He turned away but turned back to kiss me on the lips causing my eyes to widen, and he flies away without a word.

"Sir Meliodas!" I yelled, I looked around. 'He kissed me. He must be Sir Meliodas if he put me here where no one can find me.' I thought as I looked around.

"Y/n!" I heard Elizabeth yell, I looked over at her shocked. 'How did she find me?' "Are you okay?" Elizabeth asked me, "I'm fine! But I can't get down!" I said.

"Okay, I'll get Ban!" She said running away. "Wait don't leave me..." I said as I realized she was already gone. "Here." I sighed I sat on the green grass.

Elizabeth's POV:

I stopped and looked around making sure no one saw me, I closed my eyes concentrating until I felt something against my back.

White wings broke through my clothes and stood proud and tall, I jump high into the sky flying away.

'Meliodas, you dumbass. Ugh, you are so careless sometimes, I swear I will shove that sword up your ass!'

I flew down into a small unnoticed clearing as my wings went back into my body, I walked for a little bit until I sensed Ban.

I ran over to him, "I need your help it's Y/n! She is on a high platform in the middle of a crater and I can't get her down!" I said.

"Alright come on let's get Y/n!" He said as he picked up King and started running with Hawk and I close behind.

Y/n's POV:

I watch nervously as I watch Sir Meliodas fight another Holy Knight.

"Sir Meliodas, I-" I gasp as a hand is placed on my mouth. I turn around frightened, only to see Sir Ban.

"Come on get on my back. I'll take you away from here," He said. "Are we just gonna leave Sir Meliodas behind?" I asked.

"I think that would be best right now," Sit Ban said. "No! I won't just leave him here!" I said upset.

But Sir Ban had other plans as he picked me up and placed me over his shoulder.

"Hey, let me go!" I said. "This for your own good," Sir Ban said as he jumped down and ran away from the fight.

I look behind me to see rocks coming up from the ground rapidly, I gasp widening my eyes. "What the hell! What the hell!" Hawk yelled.

"Quit your yapping and move those pig feet of yours!" Sir Ban said. "Keep running and don't you let out master!" Ban said to Hawk.

Sir Ban stopped running and put me down, we just sit there until loud footsteps approach us. It was Diane who is back to her normal size again.

I run towards Diane, "Diane!" I yelled as I stopped in front of her. She uncurled her fist to show Sir Meliodas back to normal. "Hey." He said but was squished against Diane's cheek.

She put him down in front of me. Tears welled up in my eyes. "Sir Meliodas-"

But I was interrupted as Sir Ban punched Sir Meliodas into a rock.

"That ought to do it had to pay you back from before." Sir Ban said. "Yeah that's cool," Sir Meliodas said weakly.

I ran over to him. "Sir Meliodas I was so worried!" I said as I helped him up. "Sorry," He mumbled painfully.

I smiled at nonetheless"

I couldn't hold myself back anymore and hugged him tight never wanting to let go.

"Hm? What's that for?" Sir Meliodas asks referring to the hug. "Sir Meliodas don't scare me like that!" I said.

"Hey, can I tell you something?" He asks. "Yes?" "You should put on some panties." He said squeezing my behind

"Quit it captain!" Diane yelled. "Yeah hands off!" Hawk said.

I squeezed Sir Meliodas tighter. "I don't ever want to let you go," I whispered in his ear not noticing the blush on his face.

"Then don't," He whispered petting my head, nuzzling into my cheek.

"Can I speak to you when we get back to the tavern?" I ask. "Sure." He said smiling.

And blast came on and I turned around to see the fog cleared showing Griamore holding Veronica.

"Griamore! I'm glad you're alright." I said softly smiling. "I'm unqualified to be a Holy Knight. I couldn't even protect you and Elizabeth as Princess Veronica's last wish and I ended up disobeying her," He said as he squeezed her body closer to him.

"But I- I- " "Thank you. I know how much you cared for her. Don't blame yourself people can't save everyone, you just have to know you tried your best. And try to be better,"

"So please bury her on the shore of Pienes lake. That's all I ask of you. I can still remember the fun all four of us used to have there. She loved it so much," I said as I walked away.

"We're gonna stop the holy knights no matter what. I will. I swear," I said determined.

"Princess, how is it that you've become so strong now?" Griamore asked.

"Hey, guys do you think he'll go back to the kingdom?" Hawk asks referring to Griamore walking away with Veronica still in his arms.

"Beats me. It seems as the holy knights aren't united as we thought they were," Sir Meliodas said.

"Look forget about that what about your sword Captain?" Sir Ban said. "Oh I guess it was stolen," "But isn't that sword important to you? Is that really okay?" I ask.

"No, it's not at all. This situation is serious," He said and I look down. "But your okay, Y/n, and that's all that really matters to me," He said smiling at me, causing me to blush furiously.

Diane picks him up, "Are you saying you don't care if I'm okay?" Diane asks pouting.

"What are you talking about just from here I can tell you're fine," Sir Meliodas said.

"Well I'm a fricking mess," Hawk said. "Your pretty tough if you ask me." Sir King said. Sir Meliodas sniffs Hawk, "Just needs to be tenderized." He said.

"Yeah very funny," Hawk said and I giggle.

We all walk back to the tavern, I go up to mine and Sir Meliodas shared room to get dressed. While I was sliding on my last legging I heard I knock, I turn to see Sir Meliodas.

"I got you something." Sir Meliodas said walking up to me with a wrapped gift. "Oh thank you," I said taking the gift.

I sit on the bed holding it. "Well, what are you waiting for? Open it," Sit Meliodas said.

I open the gift only to gasp at the sight, its necklace with an emerald green heart on it. It was the same beautiful emerald green as his eyes.

"Can you put it on me?" I ask, "Sure thing," Sir Meliodas said as he put it on me.

"Thank you I love it," I said. He smiles and started to walk away, "Wait!" I said as I ran up to him.

"Ye- oof!" I cut him off by hugging him. "Thank you so much! I promise when we the kingdom is saved, I'll repay you," I said smiling.

"There's no need for that. It's just a pretty gift for a beautiful girl," Sir Meliodas said as he walked away, I clutched my heart, 'What is this feeling?'

I walked outside, towards a hill, I stop to look at the view.

"Rest now Veronica and please be at peace. I promise things will be different. I'll bring back days when laughter echoed through the town just like how it used to be. I'll put my life on it," I said.

"

Things will work out," Diane said surprising me causing me to turn around.

"I know we'll be able to take back the kingdom. After all the Captain is going to be on your side. And all your comrades too," She said smiling.

"My comrades?" I ask. "Mhm because you and Elizabeth are one of us now." She said making me smile and look back at the view.

I stop smiling when a see a hill being split in half. I walk back with Diane and stop and the broken hill, I see Sir Meliodas walk out from it.
