~ONE MONTH AGO~
"Please open the door! You have nowhere else to run!" The Knights said as they banged on the door. "King! King!" They continued to yell as they banged harder.
I look at the door fearful that they would soon barge in, but before I could think any further a hand was placed on top of my head. "You must escape, Elizabeth, and bring Y/n with you and keep her safe," Father said.
"We won't go alone! You must get to safety as well!" I said leaning up to him. "Your father will be fine," "But!" "Go now, before the Holy Knights get inside,"
I nod tearfully before getting up and heading towards the hiding spot where Elizabeth was. I left the door open a smidge bit so I can see what would happen.
I heard electricity before a hear the door explode and a large amount of knights barge in all yelling.
I close the door with tearful eyes, not wanting to see what would happen next. I stand up straight before pulling up my dress and following Elizabeth out of the castle.
~PRESENT TIME~
"Hey Y/N! Elizabeth!" Meliodas called out, standing in the bedroom's doorway. "Ah, Yes?" I answer turning to look at him.
"Could you two come downstairs for a minute?" "Of course!"
'This isn't just some dream...It's real, we actually did it! We found Sir Meliodas, one of the legendary Seven Deadly Sins! I think...'
When we were taken downstairs we were given new outfits considering ours were dirty and tattered. But I didn't expect these clothes.
The outfit in question had a short tight pink shirt with a purple tie. A very short navy blue skirt. One black legging and one black shoe and one white shoe. But I had one black legging and one white legging.
(Picture edited by moi!)
'Why is the shirt so tight? And the skirt is so short my underwear is showing! I let Elizabeth have my outfit so she can be comfortable. And I shouldn't complain Sir Meliodas gave these clothes to us because ours were ruined. Oh, he's so sweet and kind to us,'
"I have a question Sir Meliodas," I said blushing. "What is this outfit for?" "Well to answer your question Y/n" smirked Meliodas happily with thumbs up at our new outfits. "It's the tavern uniform."
"Way to put your perverted thoughts on display there dude," Said Hawk sighing. Oh! I get it now." I said hitting my hand in realization of why there in these outfits. "You want us to collect rumors along with information about the Seven Deadly Sins' whereabouts."
"Some Intel on the Holy Knights would be good too," Said Meliodas pulling up my short skirt revealing my pastel blue panties causing my face to redden and look back at him.
Meliodas then happily rubs his face in my chest. "Meliodas what are you doing to Y/n?" "Don't worry I'm just conducting a size check on her. Her shirt looks off," Said Sir Meliodas as he continues to rub his face in my chest.
"You moron! You're scaring the only ones who can bring people in!" Hawk yelled pulling Sir Meliodas away from me.
"Sir Meliodas," I said making Meliodas look at me. "There's just one question I wish to ask you," "The Seven Deadly Sins...Are you really that wicked. Are you all terrible criminals like the world says you are? And if you are, what awful crime did you commit?"
"My crime huh?" "Well to me, they just understand what kind of person you are. After all, you not only saved Elizabeth but saved me as well, even though you didn't know who we were!"
"The truth is, ten years ago, I traveled through Liones stealing all the panties I could get my hands on," He declared.
"Seriously? You're lying right?" Elizabeth asked with some type of glare.
"That's right." Sir Meliodas said and I sighed in relief. "Alright, what I actually did was stalk a thousand pretty girls with perfect boobs and groped them all,"
"Groping?! You are joking right?" I asked. "It is," "Please stop messing around! Or did you really commit a crime that you can't put into words," I asked.
"Maybe." Meliodas shrugs. Elizabeth and I look at each other.
Suddenly the tavern shifted. I yelped in fear and was about to fall but Meliodas caught me and his face was stuffed between my breast.
"Careful!" Meliodas said muffled. "Watch it!" Hawk yelled. Meliodas then moved away but not before squeezing my chest one more time. "Hey, we're here!" Meliodas said. "This is our next string of information, Vanya Village.
As we got off Hawk's mom dug herself quickly into the ground.
"I usually buy my liquor from wherever I can find it. But Vanya's stuff is special. The best water you can find is here in this village." Meliodas said as we walked through.
"And with the gruit growing down by the river. It's used to brew Vanya Ale. It's got fans far and wide." Meliodas continued as we stop. I look down, to see the water is all dried up. "Well, it used to now the famous water of theirs is bone dry," Hawk said. "Look those herbs along the bank are dead." Elizabeth pointed out.
"What's going on?" Meliodas ask. We walk forwards to see loads of people. "Look at all these people in the square! Do you think it's a festival?" I asked filled with glee.
Meliodas walks forwards, with us close behind. "Hey, what's up, guys!" Meliodas yelled waving. "Huh oh, it's the barkeeper." A man said. "Whats this festival for today?" Meliodas ask them. "Huh? This looks like a damn festival for you! Were trying to pull out a sword some Holy knight jabbed into the ground!" Another man said. "Did he stick it in the ground? Why'd he'd do that?" Meliodas asked.
"The other day, we incurred the wrath of a Holy Knight.
The Holy Knight's infused his sword with mana and has sealed away the village's underground water source," An old man said.
"If we don't do something soon, we'll not only our water but all our grout, too!" One civilian said. "Then we won't have any Vanya ale, Damn!"
"A Holy Knight...you think it could be the one you defeated, could it?" I asked. "You mean Twigo guy with the mustache? No, not a chance he wasn't a Holy Knight. Trust me the real ones are a whole lot worse," Sir Meliodas said with crossed arms.
"If a Holy Knight stuck the sword into the ground, only a Holy Knight could pull it out. It pains me to say this, but this village is finished," The old man said as I watched as the men of the village try to pull out the sword.
"Oh, no! It can't be, there must some other way or someone to help us. I won't lt some mischievous no good Holy Knight ruin this village!" I said with determination.
"Oh, come on, what's everyone whining about?" A little boy with strange hair said as they walk forwards. "It's Mead!" A civilian said. "What's with the commotion about this Holy Knight's sword? If you leave it to my pals from the Seven Deadly Sins, it'll be a breeze," Mead said.
"Listen, Mead! Just who do you think is responsible for this in the first place? Mentioning the Deadly Sins is just
about the worst thing you could do!" A middle-aged woman stated.
"Yeah! Don't make the Holy Knight angrier than he already is!" "What exactly do you have against us?!" Civilians shouted at the poor boy. "Wh-What?! I never meant it like that," Mead stammered.
"We're through with your lies and jokes!" "Stupid Mead!" A little girl said picking up a rock and throwing it Mead but instead it hit Sir Meliodas in the face, I place my hand over my mouth in shock.
"I hate you all!" Mead cried out. "Yeah, well, we all hate you too, Mead!" A boy said as all the townies start to throw rocks at the Mead. "Shut up, you idiots! Idiots!" Mead yelled as he was getting pulled away by Sir Meliodas who seemed to be a magnet to the non-stop throwing of rocks, who sped away to the tavern.
"Everyone, stop!" The old man said to the town. "Looks like we dropped by at a bad time," Hawk said staring at the tavern. "He's a good kid deep down," The old man said catching my attention. "Really? Tell me more about Mead," I said with a soft smile.

"Mead, you're quite the prankster, aren't you?" I said bending down to be at his level.
"The Village Chief told me everything," "Huh? What's with this meddling lady?" Mead said.
"My sister and I also lost a loved one, our mother. I didn't even know her but it ached in my heart whenever I thought about her. I felt like no one understood my pain and suffering, so I played pranks," I said kneeling down.
"I remember playing on my father, you see he wasn't my real father, so I had naturally held a grudge against him. So, I planted a trap on the pathway to his seat, while he was walking he tripped and hit his head, he laid there unconscious. I watched as he was taken away, he was bedridden for a week. I was so scared I had killed him that I never wanted to play a prank again,"
"I... didn't mean to pull pranks or tell lies because of that," Mead said. "Tell me the whole story," I said softly. "M-My... mom and dad were both travelers. But a few years ago, they both fell victim to an epidemic when they stopped by Bernia Village,"
I was alone... But the villagers took me in and raised me in place of my parents. I was really happy. But in the end, I was never a part of anyone's family. I became jealous of everyone else who had families. Started pulling pranks and telling lies..." Mead cried. "Is that why you put the bug in the Holy Knight's drink? Because you were upset?" "No! It was because that Holy Knight made fools out of all of us!"
" All the adults and even the kids worked hard every single day to make the very best ale. But he...Holy Knights are all a joke!" Mead yelled. "So, when you said your friend was one of the Seven Deadly Sins," "I-It was a lie..." "I see. Got worked up for nothing," "Why make up a lie like that?" Elizabeth spoke up.
"Because the Seven Deadly Sins are being chased by the Holy Knights, right? If the evil Holy Knights are after them, that means they must be good people, right?" Mead said. I look at Hawk and Elizabeth before staring at Meliodas, "What?" Sir Meliodas said confused making me giggle.
Then there is a loud commotion coming from outside. "Hmm? It's coming from the village!" Mead said running out of the tavern. "Mead!" I called out but he was already gone. I run out to the village to see all the men use a rope to try and pull out the sword.
"It's not even moving an inch! We're gonna sit back and watch you
fools while we enjoy your cheap beer," Two knights said while drinking the Vanya ale. "Come on! Come out, goddammit!" Mead yelled with all his might. "Look at their desperate faces! A toast, to these fools!" The knights cackled before going to take a drink but their mugs were gone.
"People who don't appreciate the taste of alcohol don't deserve to drink this ale," Said Sir Meliodas as all the men fell to the ground, before drinking the knights' ale. "That hit the spot. Sorry, but I don't have anything on me to pay you with. So how's this instead?" Sir Meliodas said grabbing the sword and pulling it out with no effort shocking the town.
"No way! A sword that only a Holy Knight can pull out. So how did that kid-" A knight said but a rumbling sound interrupted him. "What's that sound?" The other knight said and water erupted from where they sat, they both scream as they fly up from the force.
"You forgot something," Sir Meliodas said as he tossed the sword on the ground in front of the fallen knights. The nights scream in fear as they take the sword and run far away.
'He's amazing! The power of the Seven Deadly Sins,' I thought staring at Sir Meliodas.
"Hey, could you possibly be the real..." Mead said hinting at the possibility of Sir Meliodas being one of the Seven Deadly Sins. "Yep! I am the proprietor of a fine drinking establishment! It's true," Sir Meliodas said with a smirk.
"That's not what I meant!" Mead said. Yeah well, isn't there still have something you need to do, right?" Sir Meliodas said leaning closer gesturing to the guilty-looking village.
"Mead, we're really sorry. Can you forgive us?" The old man said looking down in guilt. "Whether or not I forgive you... For someone who's alone like me..." Mead said looking down. I walk over and gently push him over. "Come on," I said. "Wh-What do you mean, 'Come on'? I... don't get what you're saying, I don't belong here..." Mead said.
"Mead. Mead! Mead! Mead!" The town coaxed in a sweet tone making Mead's walls break down until he runs over crying into their arms. You can lie to yourself all you want, but you can't fool your own heart," Sir Meliodas said making me look over to him with a sense of familiarity.

"A toast to Meliodas of the Boar Hat! Cheers!" Men say as they clink their mugs together before drinking without a care.
"I-I'm not really sure if I'm ready, I've never done anything like this before...my heart's pounding!" I said sheepishly as this is Elizabeth and I's first time waitressing.
"I understand it's your first time. But can you say that again but slower~" Sir Meliodas said leaning towards me. "What are you doing with her you pervert," Hawk said trotting up to us.
"Well, don't worry about gathering information today. Just focus on being a waitress for now. At any rate, you should relax for now," Sir Meliodas said easing my nerves. "Right! I can do that, I will be relaxed!" I said clenching my fists.

"Here you go be careful or else I'll have to punish you~" Sir Meliodas smirked handing me the plate of food.
I walk forward to the table before tripping on my foot and the food slips out of my hands and onto the man in front of me. "Sorry! I'm really sorry!" I said bowing.

"Yo-you didn't order this? Then who..." I said looking over at the tables in confusion. " Hey, over here!" Aman waved his hand over to me, and I sigh in relief.
I rush over but yelp as I trip and crash to the ground. "Aww," I whimper.
"Lady, you've never worked a day in your life, have you? I can tell just by looking. You completely suck at this job," Mead said. "Stop it, Mead. Acting all high and mighty. You need to reflect on your actions more. If you get too cocky, we'll throw you into the Forest of White Dreams," The middle-aged woman said scaring Mead.
"No! Not there!" Mead cried out catching my attention. " Forest of White Dreams?" I asked. "A forest even the powerful Holy Knights avoid! Auntie, I'll be a good boy, so please forgive me!" Mead explained. I smile at their interaction before looking out of the window.
I sigh before heading out the door and sitting on the cold grass staring at the stars. 'Why is this so hard? I just wanna see my family once more.'
I turn my head when I hear footsteps behind me to see Sir Meliodas. "Oh, Sir Meliodas," I greet. "Hey," Sir Meliodas said as he walks towards me. "I'm sorry. I know I should be working, but when I saw Mead and the village interact with each other it just made me think about my father, and how I know such little about my mother," I said frowning. "I hope he's okay," I said hoping what I said is true.
"I'm useless, right? This is the wrong time to get homesick, isn't it? The people are suffering under the oppression of the Holy Knights, but with a princess like me trying to help, their chances look pretty bleak," I muttered.
"But you found me, right?" Sir Meliodas said breaking me out of my trance. "Huh?" "Come on, if you hadn't been trying with everything you could just to save your people and stumble in my place with Elizabeth, they'd have no chance at all," Sir Meliodas said bringing a smile to my face.
"So you're saying there's something I'm meant to do?" I said. "Exactly!" Without a word I stand up and rush over to wrap my arms around him. "Thank you, Sir Meliodas. You really are the most amazing person I could ever meet," I said pulling away.
"Well right now, there's something I'm meant to do too," Sir Meliodas said looking off into the sky. A spark in the sky appears, it's a spear of some sort and it's fastly approaching Sir Meliodas.
But before it could hit him, Sir Meliodas grabs it letting the spear drag him down. "Sir Meliodas!" I yell looking over the cliff.
Sir Meliodas lands on the ground creating a large hole in the ground before getting knocked into several buildings.
Sir Meliodas skids to a stop before spinning and throwing the spear with his strength sending it to the sky. Watching as it disappears before it's a sparkle in the sky.
Sir Meliodas! I'm so glad we found you! Sir Meliodas! Just now, was that the same Holy Knight who attacked the village?" I asked as Elizabeth, Hawk, and I run towards Sir Meliodas.
"Probably. I think it'd be best for everyone if we left this village," Sir Meliodas said. "But what if they attack this village again?" Elizabeth said concerned. "It'll be much more dangerous if we stay here," Sir Meliodas said.
"Do we even have a place to hide?" Hawk asked. "Come to think of it..." I muttered. "What's up?" "Earlier, Mead said that the Forest of White Dreams is a place where we should never go. Even the Holy Knights refuse to enter," I said. "That's the perfect place, then!" Hawk said.
"Guess it's decided. We're going to do what we set out to do," Sir Meliodas said punching his fist. "What do you mean by that?' Hawk asked. "You don't mean?" I said. "Yup! And I think one of us is living there," Sir Meliodas said making me smile brightly.
"Okay, let's go find another sin!" "Right!" "Yeah!"
