,,So... Many citizens and Jujutsu sorcerers have died during the Shibuya incident and now we're in the middle of a.. Game?", I ask, still not being able to process that I've been in a coma for so long.

,,Yes, the Curling Games. You know... Satoru Gojo has been sealed by Kenjaku and we need help with freeing him. We need all the help we can get", Tengen says and stands up to walk toward the window.

Gojo Satoru has been sealed? Well.. At least he won't kill me for now...

,,We're still trying to figure out how we can do so. There is a Jujutsu sorcerer who we think could help us but she's with Yuji Itadori and the others", Yuki adds and takes a sip from her cup in her hand.

,,And you want me to go out and search them, right? So they'll get here safely..", I sigh as Yuki nods. ,,We'll take care of (Y/N).. She'll be safe with me", Yuki says proudly and points at herself with her thumb. I smile. I bet she would.. But I can't leave (Y/N) alone.. Not again...

,,I appreciate your-", I can't finish my sentence because the door to (Y/N)'s room suddenly opens with a squeak. A cold shiver runs down my spine and I slowly turn around to look at the door.

,,Hello there~"

Immediately, I stand up and want to charge at the man standing right in front of me, holding (Y/N) in bridal style. ,,Let her go!", Yuki shouts and grabs my arm to stop me from attacking.

I look at her, fury written all over my face but she doesn't even glance in my direction.

,,Nope~ Not unless you give me Tengen first", Kenjaku says with a grin. ,,Shit, I knew it would come this far..", Yuki mumbles. I look back at Kenjaku.

,,No way", Yuki says and furrows her brows. Kenjaku rolls his eyes and sighs, putting a hand in front of (Y/N)'s face:,,You guys really don't want her back? Especially Choso?"

My eye twitches as he looks over to me with the same, ugly smirk I have always hated. This bastard. ,,So... What is more important for you people? (Y/N) or Tengen? ", Kenjaku says while a blue aura forms around (Y/N)'s body, which is being sucked into Kenjaku's palm, a small ball forming under his hand.

What the fuck is he doing?! I grit my teeth, trying to free myself from Yuki's grip but she won't let me go.

Then, (Y/N) suddenly opens her eyes and takes a deep breath. My heart skips a beat and my jaw drops. ,,(Y/N)..", I mumble and pull my arm out of Yuki's grip. She's awake... She's finally awake...

Rage surges through me. ,,Get your hands off her!", I roar, cursed energy crackling around me like wildfire. I charge forward, but Kenjaku raises his hand and evokes a cursed dragon. Kenjaku's dragon surges toward me, claws slashing. I barely dodge its fangs, but its tail catches me, sending me reeling. I clench my teeth, cursed energy crackling in my veins. ,,Piercing Blood!", my attack pierces its skull, and the dragon dissolves into smoke.

Then, I turn around to see Kenjaku still fighting with Yuki while holding (Y/N) in his free arm.

Without wasting any other second, I charge toward them and kick Kenjaku in his back. He groans and lets (Y/N) fall into the ground. (Y/N)!!

,,Two against one? Isn't that a little bit unfair?", Kenjaku evokes two cursed spirits who charge at Yuki. (Y/N) lies crumpled on the ground, motionless. My heart drops. ,,(Y/ N)..." , I whisper, taking a shaky step toward her, but Kenjaku is faster. He scoops her up like she is nothing, holding her close as if to taunt me.

I couldn't move. My mind reels as Tengen suddenly steps forward, calm and resolute. ,,Let her go," Tengen says behind Kenjaku, his voice low.

I look over Kenjaku's shoulder. ,,Oh, finally you've decided to sacrifice yourself", Kenjaku says with a grin and turns around. Tengen sighs and steps forward, his voice calm while speaking:,,I won't. I won't risk humanity for your plan. Neither will I risk (Y/N)'s life. So.. Let her go and let us have a fair fight."

No... This can't be true... I swallow. They can't do this... Kenjaku's grin widens:,,Oh how pathetic. Have you guys really thought that I'm only here because of Tengen? I know (Y/N)'s true potential so I've absorbed not only the curse but also her cursed energy. She's one of the keys to fulfill my plans successfully. "

My heart drops when the realisation hits me. She can't see me now... No... No... ,, It wasn't that easy how it sounds. I had to create a cursed spirit that would be able to absorb cursed energy from human beings, well from (Y/N) to be specific. But my plan worked", Kenjaku cups (Y/N)'s cheek with a mockery of tenderness.
