READER'S POV

As I open my eyes, I see sunlight spilled through the window, warm and golden. It dances across my face, gentle but insistent, pulling me from sleep with a quiet brightness. I stretch luxuriously, feeling every muscle unwinding as I  blink up at the clear, blue sky peeking through my curtains.

When I feel something or someone move beside me, I freeze, my gaze slowly wandering to my side. For a moment, I forget to breahe, staring into those familiar brown eyes of the person that I missed so much. I blink and my hand wanders to Choso's cheek, cupping it gently. Choso leans into the touch and lets out a soft hum, making my heart flutter.

We lie like this for a while until a sob breaks the silence. Choso's eyes wander back to my face and he gasps, moving closer:,, (Y/N)..." Another sob escapes my lips and I push myself up, wrapping my arms  around his body and nuzzling my face against his shoulder as I let the tears flow.

Is this a dream? Please don't let this be a dream... I don't want to open my eyes only to see that he isn't here..

Choso wraps his arms around my body and pulls me closer:,,I'm here... I'm here..." My hands are trembling and I reach out to touch Choso's hair, to make sure that the moment is real and that Choso isn't just a fragile dream.

Every tear that comes out from my eyes is a wordless confession, a release of the pain and loneliness, and love I have held back the past few days.

How can I know him for this short time and still love him as if I'd loved him for years? I sob against Choso's neck. That doesn't matter now. Choso is here. Everything will be alright.

Yeah... Everything will be alright... I smile and let out a shaky breath, wiping my wet cheeks. Choso pulls away slightly to cup my chin and tilt my head up.

I look into his eyes, feeling a little ashamed because I cried in front of him. Choso seems to notice my embarrassment and he wipes his thumb over my cheek:,,It's okay.."

I raise an eyebrow and Choso imitates my movement:,,What's the matter, (Y/N)?" ,,How.. How could you get inside my room without getting killed?", I ask him curiously.

He smiles softly:,,Well... I got into a.. Small... Argument with Satoru but I could convince him that I am not here to spy on you or hurt you. I promised to protect you and if I fail, Satoru will kill me."

My heart flutters and I smile too:,,Really? You would really risk your life only to be with me?" ,,Yes and I would do so much more for you...", Choso brushes a stray strand of hair out of my face.

Later that day, Choso wants to show me something and honestly.. Who would say no to him?

,,Don't you dare put the blindfold down..", Choso says while guiding me somewhere and I chuckle. ,,I won't, don't worry..", I smile amused and wonder what he has planned.

We walked for one hour already, the surprise should better be something nice.

I blink when Choso suddenly stops and pulls the blindfold down. I look around, a gasp escaping my lips.

The sun dips low, casting a warm, golden light over the landscape. The sky is painted in shades of rose and tangerine, blending into violet at the edges.

Each blossom on the cherry trees around us glows softly, as if holding onto the last light of the day. A gentle breeze stirs the branches, and petals drift down like pink snow, catching the sunlight before settling softly on the ground.

The air is sweet with the faint perfume of the blossoms, mingling with the coolness of evening. As the colors deepen to crimson and amber, the world grows still, wrapped in a moment of perfect beauty.

,,Choso.. I..", I turn around and my heart flutters when he turns his gaze to me with a soft smile. ,,This is... Beautiful... The cherry blossom trees and the sunset.. Wow...", I stutter and look back at the scene in front of me.

,,That's not all..", Choso says and grabs my hand, making my heart flutter. Then he intertwines our hands and I close my eyes.

When I open my eyes again, I stare up at the indigo sky, spattered with countless stars that shimmer like scattered diamonds. ,,I didn't know that the sky could be this beautiful..", I breathe the fresh night air in.

,,Do you know what else is beautiful?", Choso asks and grabs my chin gently, tilting my head so I look into his eyes. I see the stars shimmering in his eyes and I wanted to swim in them.

,,Hm?", I couldn't tear my eyes away from his as his eyes wander to my lips and his other hand to my waist. He pulls me closer to him:,,You."

Our eyes meet, lingering for a heartbeat longer then usual, making my heart skip a beat. Then we slowly move closer until the space between us disappears. His breath was warm against my skin  and I close my eyes.

When our lips finally meet, the world seems to fall away, leaving only the soft pressure and warmth, the quiet electric pulse that surges between us.

The kiss is gentle at first, hesitant, like a question and then grows deeper as I wrap my arms around his neck and his arms wrap around my waist. Everything feels perfect in that moment and I never want it to end. ...
