He isn't the most open about it, but back in high school he experimented with gus. He doesn't really identify with it anymore, but formerly he may have called himself bi with a strong lean towards women.

𝒜𝓅𝓅𝑒𝒶𝓇𝒶𝓃𝒸𝑒-

Young is scruffy. Always oscillating between appearing messy, like he's friends with the moon and can only see if it he stays awake all night. Or, he's rugged and looks like he lives alone in the mountains. There is no in between, and usually it depends on his mood.

That said, he has the most beautiful hazel eyes you've ever seen. When dawned in swaths of sunlight, they're like peering into a prism of jade green. When not, they ochre hue casts shadows along his face and makes his grumpiness more pronounced. He has lines around his lines, thin and undefined but they make his smile feel utterly warm.

He's very tall, and lean with freckles dappling the bridge of his nose. He has a couple tattoos along his arms, not full sleeves or anything though. Most of them are things his sister drew that he found interesting enough to want on his body forever.

ℬ𝒾𝓇𝓉𝒽𝒹𝒶𝓉𝑒-

𝒫𝑒𝓇𝓈𝑜𝓃𝒶𝓁𝒾𝓉𝓎-

Young has been somewhat hardened by time. He was thrust into a position of responsibility before he should have been, which forced him to grow up hastily. He isn't mean - not really. Though, he can have a bit of a sharp tongue and his exterior is rather gruff unless you know him.

If you do, he becomes a very good person to have in your life. He's loyal, and will always watch out for you if he cares about you. He can be very attentive, and sweet to the right people and will do whatever he can to protect them.

He emotionally attuned, but he has a hard time expressing his own emotions. He's a bit of a grump, but he can be tender as well. Young is responsible, and what some may call stoic. He is also witty, and quick with snappy remarks.

𝒮𝓉𝓇𝑒𝓃𝑔𝓉𝒽𝓈-

Responsible, hard working, dependable, curious, and funny. Even though usually the reason he's considered funny is because he was trying to be serious, and no one could take him seriously.

He's also rather clever, and made a life for himself from scraps of tragedy.

𝒲𝑒𝒶𝓀𝓃𝑒𝓈𝓈𝑒𝓈-

Brash. He is quite brash, and sometimes acts without thinking when the only one at risk is himself. Anxious. It's a bit surprising for him, but he's an anxious person and has been since he was a kid.

A bit arrogant, and pushes people away with the excuse of 'being too busy' to deal with new people. Friends or partners.

𝒫𝑜𝓌𝑒𝓇𝓈(𝒾𝒻 𝒶𝓅𝓅𝓁𝒾𝒸𝒶𝒷𝓁𝑒)-

ℱ𝑒𝒶𝓇𝓈-

Messing up his little siblings lives. They were put in his custody, and he doesn't want to make things hard for them. Even though they're practically adults now, with his sister going to college and his brother having one year of high school left. They're more so roommates, as opposed to guardian and guarded.

Being lost. He does whatever he can to make sure the people he loves remember him, because he doesn't want to lose them. He'll change himself to fit, to not be forgotten.

ℒ𝒾𝓀𝑒𝓈-

Night time, and the life which those who sleep early don't see. Cities, and quiet music playing under currents of conversation. Milky coffee, and the idea of the future.

𝒟𝒾𝓈𝓁𝒾𝓀𝑒𝓈-

Lost opportunities, and forgotten good memories. Feeling like he's in over his head, summer, and the sound of cicadas in humming in the humidity of July.

ℬ𝒶𝒸𝓀𝓈𝓉𝑜𝓇𝓎-

He had the usual childhood. Big family, aunts and uncles that were there on weekends. Two siblings, all close in age, and the perfect parents. Funny, responsible and caring. Young was a ball of sunshine in his youth, always happy so much so that he was nicknamed sunny.

He was a promising young athlete, very adept at soccer and with a bright future ahead. All that would disappear when he hurt his knee beyond repair. He became moody, and distant and infested with dreams of 'what if'. Eventually he became an adult, and moved out of his parents house to a big city.

He didn't know his ambitions yet, but he knew he wanted to become something. In the meantime, he got a job in order to pay rent for a tiny studio apartment.

He was happier than he had been in awhile. Then something horrible happened, a car wreck where both his parents passed away. He inherited guardianship of his two siblings, and they both moved into his studio apartment. He picked up more shifts, and put his goals aside in order to take care of them.
