Let's just say that it's a good thing this boy is attractive. Otherwise, he would not have gotten away with any of the things he has.

His eyes are dark, pools of imminent night sky with a little ember of warmth burning inside them. They're very expressive, and always flicker in empathy or thought. A hint of mischief hides on his crooked smile, making his face always lambent.

To his mother's dismay, he wears his hair longer and lets his natural curl pattern shine. His skin is a rich tawny hue, scarred from boyish adventures on various places. Mostly his hands, and his legs from rough housing with his siblings. He also has a birthmark on his neck. Two little dots, looking like an unfinished ellipsis.

𝒫𝑒𝓇𝓈𝑜𝓃𝒶𝓁𝒾𝓉𝓎-

Quincy's personality is reflected in his upbringing. Ever since he was a kid, he's been told to be proper and perfect and he's always fought against that. His morals, and convictions are strong. If it were up to him, he would abandon the life of a royal and travel around the world to see what it was like beyond the castle.

He feels like a stream of rushing water. Wild, and uncontainable. He slips through the world's fingers, swimming further and further out of reach with each taste of freedom he gets.

That said, he is actually quite adept at reading people. He's good at distracting people of they're having a hard time, or being a sympathetic shoulder to cry on. He can't hide his emotions when it comes to his expressive eyes, meaning it rather easy to read him.

Clever, fun, immature, electrifyingly good at flirting, with a strong will and stubborn spirt.

𝒮𝓉𝓇𝑒𝓃𝑔𝓉𝒽𝓈-

Bold - Quincy has always had a brave streak in him. He's not afraid of what others think, or breaking the family reputation if it means he doesn't have to sit in a stuffy room all day. A young man can only feign interest in table settings and regime changes so long.

Determined - for the things he deems worthy. He will go to the ends of the earth for what he cares about, time and time again without complaint. He has strong convictions, and he sticks to them unflinchingly.

Social - he is very very bold in social situations, and can be found at the center of most attention. He always makes people feel comfortable, and welcome - unless he hates you. If he doesn't like you, he has the confidence to be a snappy twat to your face.

Quick witted, persevering, and a surprisingly fast learner.

Rebellious - he's the most rebellious of his family. He is daring, and it gets him in trouble sometimes but it isn't a totally bad thing. Still, he doesn't always think much before he does something.

Hard headed - this boy is the most stubborn person to walk the planet. He thinks his ways are right, and is hard to convince otherwise. It doesn't come from a bad place, perhaps a distrustful place based on the environment he grew up in.

Bad at expressing emotions - that's whats frustrating about how easy he is to read. He was always scalded growing up for showing emotion, and yet most can see through his eyes like they're a glass window to his mind.

Runs from responsibility, a smart idiot, makes questionable choices for the thrill.

Losing himself - he doesn't want to change into something unrecognizable. He doesn't want the life his parents have, but he knows it's laid upon his lap without hope for change. He's scared his spirit will dim, leaving him a shell.

Screwing up in a major way - he obviously isn't exactly scared when it comes to being reckless. Small mistakes, and annoyances are his sweet spot. He has no desire to make his family's lives harder by becoming a screw up, or burden.

Drowning - This is because of an incident when he was a child. He and his siblings had been playing in a lake, and he kept getting dragged down by the current. He would have died if his mom hadn't noticed his head not pop back up, and rushed in after him.

Looking like an idiot, losing his family, becoming a person of power or authority, and beetles.

Thrills found from highs and lows, getting under his dad's skin, card games of chance, and drinking honey straight from the combs in summer. Wild flowers after the rain, and the feeling of a lover's fingers running through his hair.

The prospect of his parents picking out a fiancé for him, and lavender. Strategy, and boring literature that he can't find an escape in, responsibility, cold weather and the feeling of a crown on his head.

Quincy Archibald was a name known by name. He grew up the fifth son to a royal bloodline, with two younger siblings, five older brothers and an older sister. He was always sort of forgotten about as a small kid.

His parents prioritized his older siblings, in order to mold them into the archetypes their family wanted. Perfect, proper and suitable to sit upon thrones and wear gaudy outfits to balls. He was always the fastest to rebel, or step out of line. He has punished for this physically sometimes, which built a strong resentment towards his father.

He got in trouble constantly, was sent to boarding schools and returned for bad behavior. He didn't get much attention besides negative, and the older he got, the more this progressed. Of course, as he got older, the less downright deplorable he became - but, he still has an edge of rebellion and fun in him.
